Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Job18.  Previously Bildad gave Job good advice, here he criticizes Job. Bildad points out that sin will be men’s ruin, if they do not repent.   Sin is the cancer that ruins the unrepentant person’s life; “13 It devours patches of his skin; The firstborn of death devours his limbs. 14 He is uprooted from the shelter of his tent, And they parade him before the king of terrors. 15 They dwell in his tent who are none of his; Brimstone is scattered on his dwelling. 16 His roots are dried out below, And his branch withers above.” Job 18:13-16,  New King James Version (NKJV). Bildad feels that Job’s sin is obvious because he witnessed the deterioration of Job’s life.  He never thought about Job being persecuted because of his faith in God! “20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him beglory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”  Ephesians 3:20-21, NKJV. God understands that which we can’t comprehend.  Instead of looking for the sin in the Saint’s life, we should be quick to ask Jesus to bind Satan from the Saint’s life.  From our vantage point we can’t always tell if a person is under attack for sinning against God or under attack for having faith in Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.   Only Jesus knows where you’re at.  Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 17.  Job appeals to God as a man who has been denounced by his friends.  Job’s life has taken so many wrong turns he feels that his hope is in death; “13 If I hope for Sheol as my house,     if I make my bed in darkness, 14 if I say to the pit, ‘You are my father,’     and to the worm, ‘My mother,’ or ‘My sister,’ 15 where then is my hope?     Who will see my hope? 16 Will it go down to the bars of Sheol?     Shall we descend together into the dust?”” Job 17:13-16,  New King James Version (NKJV).  Job’s life has fallen apart he feels that death is the only answer.  We are similar to Job in that we don’t know what God sees in the big picture of our lives. The big difference between Job and us is we have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to guide us.  “2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”  Psalm 138:2, NKJV.  No matter what is going on in our life we have hope in that Jesus knows exactly what we need.  Because he does love us, and wants us to have the very best, (John 16:29-33) we should thank Jesus when the answer is no. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.   Do this today while you still have time!  Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? Father Knows Best!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 16.  Job says his friends are miserable comforters.   He characterizes his his current state as disgraceful.   Job continues to proclaim his innocence; “20 My friends scorn me; My eyes pour out tears to God. 21 Oh, that one might plead for a man with God, As a man pleads for his neighbor! 22 For when a few years are finished, I shall go the way of no return.” Job 16:20-22 ,  New King James Version (NKJV).  Do we sometimes complain to God concerning our individual circumstance?  If God doesn’t give us what we feel is right for our needs do we feel he doesn’t know what’s best for us?  If either of these statements is true we need to pray in Jesus name, study God’s Word and asks the Holy Spirit to reveal Gods plan for us. “30 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”  Psalm 18:30,  NKJV. God loves all of his creation and is not willing that anyone should perish.  Jesus knows exactly what we need (see Matthew 10:30-32). If your prayers are not being answered in the manner you expect remember Our Heavenly Father knows best.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.   Do this today while you still have time!  Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 15.  Eliphaz criticizes Job accusing him of not fearing of God. Eliphaz also reasons that Job is miserable because he is a wicked man. “34 For the company of hypocrites will be barren, And fire will consume the tents of bribery. 35 They conceive trouble and bring forth futility; Their womb prepares deceit.”” Job 15:34-35,  New King James Version (NKJV). It is easy to say a person is wicked because they are in dire straits. I think we may do it to soothe our conscience for not reaching out to them when we see they are in need.  “35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”  Matthew 24:35 , NKJV.    It is a dangerous thing to soothe our conscience rather than helping a person in need.  All things we may withhold from helping others with will not last.  If our gift of kindness and love leads to one person accepting Jesus; then it is a gift that will last an eternity. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 14.  Job addresses God and declares his view of man’s life. Job also addresses his view of man’s death.  Sin causes the corruption of all people. “20 You prevail forever against him, and he passes on; You change his countenance and send him away. 21 His sons come to honor, and he does not know it; They are brought low, and he does not perceive it. 22 But his flesh will be in pain over it, And his soul will mourn over it.”” Job 14:20-22,  New King James Version (NKJV).  God’s Word tells us to flee sexual immorality. Sin remains deadly whether or not it is lawful. “12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.”  1 Corinthians 6:12-13, NKJV.   Men will do things that are immoral and sinful feeling justified because people of low moral values have made it lawful. When a court or a nation condones immorality to sooth a wicked soul they condemn that soul to death.  Our God is not willing that any should perish (see 2 Peter 3:9), but that every sinner will come to repentance. Can We Obtain True Freedom?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 13.  Job feels that he doesn’t need his friend’s instructions and criticizes them. He reiterates his confidence in God for justification and salvation. Job begs God to reveal his sins so he can repent from them.   “24 Why do You hide Your face, And regard me as Your enemy? 25 Will You frighten a leaf driven to and fro? And will You pursue dry stubble?”  Job 13:24-25, New King James Version (NKJV).  Job wants God to set him free from his sins.  Jesus set us free from our sins!  “36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36, NKJV.  If any person truly wants to be free they must ask Jesus to forgive their sins. The person who repents, turns from sin and ask Jesus into his heart understands the meaning of true freedom. What Time Is It?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 12.  Job rebukes his friends for looking upon him with contempt.  The wicked often prosper however the worldly treasures they consider wealth is of no value to God.  Job speaks to the sovereignty of God, in ordering all the affairs man; “24 He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness. 25 They grope in the dark without light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken man.” Job 12:24-25, New King James Version (NKJV).  Often we look at people who seem to have it “made” and we’re tempted to envy them.  If we really examine what they have and how they strive to keep it; we wouldn’t really want it.  “34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”  Proverbs 14:34, NKJV.  Saint do you live in a godly nation that strives to protect the values that God gives us? Look to the highest court in the land; do the laws they pass and the decisions they make promote sin?  If it the answer is yes, then it’s time to draw closer to Jesus!
