Elihu feels that Job is trying to explain how God should act. It is God who calls us to turn from sin. At times God sends trials for the good of men; “31 “Give ear, Job, listen to me; Hold your peace, and I will speak. 32 If you have anything to say, answer me; Speak, for I desire to justify you. 33 If not, listen to me; Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.”” Job 33:31-33, New King James Version (NKJV). It is a hard thing to be happy for others and content with God’s provisions if your heart is not right. “10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. However, they can’t say what it is Job did wrong. Elihu criticizes them. Job speaks about their situations saying they ignore God’s righteousness; “20 I will speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer. 21 Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone; Nor let me flatter any man. 22 For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.” Job 32:20-22,  New King James Version (NKJV).  The truth remains; All Life Matters; because God Loves everyone; “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16, NKJV.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.   Do you hear him calling?  Sinner com home? Care Enough To Pray!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 31.  Job replies to the charge of hypocrisy and affirms his respectability. Job has been faithful in sexuality and says he shouldn’t endure the wrath of God.  He denies selfishness in regard to the needs of those less fortunate.   Job feels he is not guilty of idolatry or self-indulgence. He proclaims his innocence in regards to double standards and violence; “38 “If my land cries out against me, And its furrows weep together; 39 If I have eaten its fruit[a] without money, Or caused its owners to lose their lives; 40 Then let thistles grow instead of wheat, And weeds instead of barley.”” Job 31:38-40, New King James Version (NKJV). Today we have read that Job feels he is upright, and living a godly life. Yet God is allowing him to be tested.  When we are tested by the enemy we must remember who it is that tempts us.  Also remember this God tells us how to endure the wiles of the enemy.  “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,” Ephesians 6:12-14, NKJV. When you see a person going through trials try asking them if you can pray for them.  You’ll be amazed how grateful people can be because you care enough to pray for them.  If they reveal that they are a Christian pray for their needs with them.  Then remind them how Jesus prepares believers (Ephesians 6) to stand against the enemy.  If they don’t reveal that they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, pray for their needs as well as their salvation.  Remember to be a soldier serving Jesus in all that you say and do.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.   Do you hear him calling?  Sinner com home? What Can We Say?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 30.  Job’s compares his former affluence and honour which has turned into disdain. Job complains having hard thoughts about God. “ 29 I am a brother of jackals, And a companion of ostriches. 30 My skin grows black and falls from me; My bones burn with fever. 31 My harp is turned to mourning, And my flute to the voice of those who weep.” Job 30:29-31  New King James Version (NKJV).  There are something’s that Job finds contentment in. However, Job believes that his troubles will end with his life. If no one has pity on us, our Lord Jesus, who forgives all sin, will love and forgive all who believe as they become God’s children.   “ 30 I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.”   Psalm 119:30, NKJV. Love & Salvation!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 29.  Job remembers the good old days and his contentment therein. The place of respect and honor Job held and his effectiveness. The vision of affluence in his former position; “24 If I mocked at them, they did not believe it, And the light of my countenance they did not cast down. 25 I chose the way for them, and sat as chief; So I dwelt as a king in the army, As one who comforts mourners.”  Job 29:24-25, New King James Version (NKJV).  Job loved the Lord and he didn’t understand that God was allowing his faith to be tested.  When our faith is tested we must cling to the Word of God.  Remember Jesus isn’t a magic genie whom we look to for treasure.  The bible is full of knowledge, wisdom and God’s love; it’s not a manual for extracting treasure from God. In the Word we find God’s Love and direction for our path.  “7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”  1 John 1:7, NKJV. Let our lights continue to shine and remember Jesus will never leave or forsake us.  “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5, NKJV.  Thank you Jesus for your love and our salvation. – Amen. Wisdom of God or Man?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 28.  Job talks about how men master how to make themselves wealthy. He speaks of the immeasurable value Godly wisdom. Job says wisdom is a gift of God; “26 When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt, 27 Then He saw wisdom[a] and declared it; He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out. 28 And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’”” Job 28:26-28,  New King James Version (NKJV).   There is wisdom that belongs to God and wisdom that seems right to men.  To fear the Lord and to repent from sin is Godly wisdom. To give up what can’t be kept for that which cannot be lost is Godly wisdom.   “[Build Your House on the Rock] 24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:” Matthew 7:24, NKJV. We are wise in a Godly way when we chose to accept Jesus.  To love our neighbors and share Jesus with others is Godly wisdom.  To stake our life on worldly wealth and gain is the wisdom that seems right to men (See Proverbs 16:25). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 27.   Job affirms his sincere belief in God.  The godless man has no hope. The end of the wicked people is depression and misery; “21 The east wind carries him away, and he is gone; It sweeps him out of his place. 22 It hurls against him and does not spare; He flees desperately from its power. 23 Men shall clap their hands at him, And shall hiss him out of his place. ” Job 27:21-23, New King James Version (NKJV).    Yesterday I said; “Our very thoughts are an open book to God…” We have many advantages that Job lacked.  We have God’s gift Jesus who paid for our salvation.  We are sealed with the Holy Spirit.  We have God’s Word which gives us insight to the will of God. These are just a few of the advantages we have.  Yet I wonder how many Christians have the kind of faith Job’s life shows?   “7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.”  Psalm 119:7, NKJV. We are blessed indeed.  If we need to strengthen our faith, we have God’s Word.
