Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 36  A Rabshakeh a high-ranking Assyrian military officer (see 2 Chronicles 32:1) comes to tell the Judeans not to worship God.  He tells those that trust King Hezekiah that the gods have not (see Isaiah 37:10) saved any nation that resisted the king of Assyria.   “21 But they held their peace and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, “Do not answer him.” 22 Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him the words of the Rabshakeh.” Isaiah 36:21-22 NKJV.  We shouldn’t get caught up in (see Matthew 6:24politics.  Don’t worry when rumors tell you that this or that (see Joshua 24:15 is going to be bad.    “2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”  Hebrews 12:2 NKJV.   There is one God, one Savior and one name (see Acts 4:12) under heaven by which we can be saved.  Don’t worry about rising costs, your shoes wearing out, what you will eat or drink.  Jesus is with us, Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 10:31) is our provider.  Ask Jesus and trust in Him (see John 15:7) to secure your future. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 35. Those people who are ransomed by God shall (see Psalm 92:14) have plenty and flourish.  The prophet is speaking about the (see Isaiah 43:19) return of Jesus as the Messiah.   “10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” Isaiah 35:10  NKJV.  Those that said they followed, Jesus as the Messiah before the crucifixion didn’t understand that Jesus had to be the sacrifice for all the sin of mankind.   “17 Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, 18 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, 19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”” Matthew 20: 17-19 NKJV.   On the third day Jesus arose from the tomb (see Revelation 21:4) conquering death and sin.  Don’t let the worries of this day depress you saints we have already been (see Isaiah 35:10) Ransomed by Jesus! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

It’s Foolish to Say, There Is No God

It’s Foolish to Say, There Is No God

“4 The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.” Psalm 10:4   New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 34. God’s vengeance shall fall (see Joel 2:20) on the enemies of His Church. Anyone who casts blame on the Word of God (see Deuteronomy 29:23) will ruin themselves.   “16 "Search from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them. 17 He has cast the lot for them, And His hand has divided it among them with a measuring line. They shall possess it forever; From generation to generation they shall dwell in it."” Isaiah 34:16-17  NKJV.  Never apologize for God or the Word of God!  If the Word of God offend any person, (see Psalm 53) they stand offended by God.   “1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.”  Psalm 14:1 NKJV.   God is not willing that any should perish (see John 3:16) that’s why he sent Jesus to die in their place!  Don’t be fooled by those who claim that God (see Romans 3:3-5) is in anyway a liar.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

O Lord, Be Gracious to Us

The Best of the Feast

May 15, 2017 – Isaiah 33

O Lord, Be Gracious to Us

“1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A Song. Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.” Psalm 68:1  New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 33. God’s people are instructed to be patient and (see Isaiah 25:9-10) to wait on God.  God will bestow the gift of salvation (see Psalm 15:2) for all who call Him Father.   “24 And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.” Isaiah 32:18-20  NKJV.  Again the Messiah is prophesized here in Isaiah (see 1 Peter 2:6) and God’s promise is fulfilled through Jesus.   “5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”  Isaiah 53:5-6 NKJV.   There is no sin committed by any person that Jesus didn’t pay for?  As a born-again believer, you can rest assured (see Romans 8:1-2) that any sin past or future was paid for by Jesus on the cross.  How far is East separated from the west?   The farthest you can possibly travel North is one hundred eighty degrees and from that point you could only travel South for one hundred eighty degrees.  However, if you travel East you will never travel West unless you turn around.  Jesus has separated us as far from the East as it is from the West (See Psalm 103:12) from our sin.  That is by the Grace of God! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Brother Mike
