Dear Saints,

Praise God Jesus has risen!  Today we continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 53.   He was bruised for our transgressions Jesus has overcame death; (see Matthew 28:5-7) He arose!  “11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:11-12  NKJV.  Jesus our Lord has paid the price and overcame death. “55 “O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  1 Corinthians 15:55-57 NKJV.  Jesus is our righteousness; we are victorious through our faith (see 1 John 5:4) in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 52.   It’s all about (see Isaiah 52:9) Jesus!  “14 Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men; 15 So shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider.” Isaiah 52:14-15 NKJV.  He was pierced for our transgressions!  Jesus our Lord despised (see Mark 9:12) he suffered on the cross for our disobediences. “39 But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.  Matthew 12:39-41 NKJV.  Jesus paid the full price for our (see Romans 5:8) transgressions. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 51.   The Messiah Christ is promised (see Isaiah 52:9) a precious gift from God the Father. The Word of God will be published (see Isaiah 2:3) and preached for salvation. Christ paid for the sin all people who call on His name are redeemed with his blood and (see Luke 1:51) delivered from every enemy. All God’s enemies they could gain by violence was, forcing people into hypocritical conformity; “22 Thus says your Lord, The Lord and your God, Who pleads the cause of His people: "See, I have taken out of your hand The cup of trembling, The dregs of the cup of My fury; You shall no longer drink it. 23 But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, Who have said to you, 'Lie down, that we may walk over you.' And you have laid your body like the ground, And as the street, for those who walk over."” Isaiah 51:22-23  NKJV.  Today people still deny Jesus is Lord much as they did on the Day Jesus was crucified. “18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”  1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV.  Remember the person who speaks against Jesus can still be forgiven those who never turn to Jesus will die in their sin; “3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Israel’s Sin & the Servant’s Obedience

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 50.   God never denies the Jews anything and yet they continue (see Isaiah 59:2) to complain and murmur.  It is the Lord God Jesus who condemns (see Romans 8:33) and justifies the Israelites. It is the same messiah who condemns the foolish and rewards the faithful; “10 "Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord And rely upon his God. 11 Look, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with sparks: Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled-- This you shall have from My hand: You shall lie down in torment.” Isaiah 50:10-11  NKJV.  We who accept Jesus are accepted while those who deny Jesus (see Matthew 10:33 ) will be denied. “[Christ the Wisdom and Power of God] 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”  1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV.   A person who speaks against Jesus can still be forgiven (see Matthew 12:32) he who never turns to Jesus will die in sin.  As obedient servants (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) for Jesus, we humbly carry God’s Word in love to Jew and Gentile (see Romans 15:8) alike. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 49.   This prophecy speaks to the coming Messiah Jesus and the rejection (see Matthew 27:26) by the Israelites.  God sent Jesus to save (see Zephaniah 2:15) the Gentile and they will carry news of God’s son back to the Israelites.; “25 But thus says the Lord: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."” Isaiah 49:25-26  NKJV.   God sent his only son Jesus to save (see John 3:16 ) Jew and Gentile alike. “[Fulfilling the Law Through Love] 8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.”  Romans 13:8 NKJV.   God is awesome He loved the His Creation so much that while they were still deep in sin (see Romans 5:8) he sent Jesus to redeem is.  We must carry the Word to the world with the same respect and love as Jesus brought the Word to us.  After all; we are the ambassadors for (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) Jesus! Therefore, we carry God’s Word in love to Jew and Gentile (see Romans 15:8) alike If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Israel Refined for God's Glory

Israel Refined for God's Glory

“19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 48.   This prophecy begins with God criticizing the (see Exodus 32:9) Israelites for their obstinate behavior.  God delivered from slavery (see Zephaniah 2:15) yet they continued to do wrong; “22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”” Isaiah 48:22  NKJV.   It seems that wicked people (see Colossians 3:16-17) are constantly trying to (see 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) pervert the Word of God.  Rest assured they will reap (see Romans 6:23) their just reward just as the believer will receive theirs.  We are should learn to be content (see Philippians 4:11) with God’s gifts.  We “Christians” need to stop complaining about government and taxes; “6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.” Romans 13:6-7 NKJV.   Jesus gives us life everlasting (see Matthew 25:45-46when we accept him as our personal savior.  In turning to Jesus, we give up only what would hurt us. In accepting Jesus we gain that measure of hope(see Ephesians 1:18) the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.  We gather that gold refined by the fire (see Revelation 3:17) as we lead others to Jesus! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
