The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Deuteronomy - Chapter 5. Today Bob, Bev and Amanda move into their new home. Over the threshold the plack reads; “but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” This is the full verse "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. " - Joshua 24:15 You know that just sounds right! Please keep me in your prayers. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" - Hebrews 13:5 Please keep me in your prayers. THE FEAST

Dear Saints,

We prayerfully finish our feast in Numbers 35  & 36.  On Sunday we begin in  Deuteronomy 1.  “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”- Romans 10:17.  Send me an email, let me know how to pray for you mlitew8@yahoo.com .  Lord willing I will send the feast again Monday.

Overview Deuteronomy;

“This book repeats much of the history and of the laws contained in the three foregoing books: Moses delivered it to Israel a little before his death, both by word of mouth, that it might affect, and by writing, that it might abide. The men of that generation to which the law was first given were all dead, and a new generation was sprung up, to whom God would have it repeated by Moses himself, now they were going to possess the land of Canaan. The wonderful love of God to his church is set forth in this book; how he ever preserved his church for his own mercies sake, and would still have his name called upon among them. Such are the general outlines of this book, the whole of which shows Moses' love for Israel, and marks him an eminent type of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us apply the exhortations and persuasions to our own consciences, to excite our minds to a believing, grateful obedience to the commands of God.” - Henry’s Concise.

Sunday, April 19, 2009, Deuteronomy 1 - The words Moses spake to Israel in the plains of Moab, The promise of Canaan. (1-8) Judges provided for the people. (9-18) Of the sending the spies-God's anger for their unbelief and disobedience. (19-46).

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers - Chapter 34.   What, how does God communicate with me?   If I listen to God what might I hear?  "The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by."   Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper." - 1^st Kings 19:11-12.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Lord willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers - Chapter 33.   Today people all over the United States are taking part in anti-tax T-Parties.   If they listened what might they hear Jesus saying?  " They said to Him, "Caesar's." And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." - Matthew 22:21.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Lord willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
