The Feast

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Judges - Chapter 6. Everyday with Jesus. Is better than the day before. "For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” - Revelation 7:17. It really is a special relationship; “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.”- James 1:21

This is a wonderful day because God made it; "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ” - John 1:1. Enough said, that by itself is sufficient. Mon, Jul 13, 09, Judges - Chapter 4, Israel again revolts, and is oppressed by Jabin. (1-3) Deborah concerts their deliverance with Barak. (4-9) Sisera defeated. (10-16) Sisera put to death by Jael. (17-24).

The book of Judges overview

“The book of Judges is the history of Israel during the government of the Judges, who were occasional deliverers, raised up by God to rescue Israel from their oppressors, to reform the state of religion, and to administer justice to the people. The state of God's people does not appear in this book so prosperous, nor their character so religious, as might have been expected; but there were many believers among them, and the tabernacle service was attended to. The history exemplifies the frequent warnings and predictions of Moses, and should have close attention. The whole is full of important instruction.” (Henry's Concise)

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully finish our Feast in Joshua, Chapter 24. Tomorrow we will stay in the Old Testament beginning with Judges Chapter one. Why do we keep going never ending until the Lord calls us? "But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'” - Luke 4:4 and “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17 I think you can find more reasons so, let us all continue feasting, praising and praying. I can't know what sin you were delivered from, nor you I but I'm sure it was common to all persons. "And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15 If the Lord is willing, I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them.” - Hebrews 13:9 Let us all continue feasting, praising and praying.
