May 18, 2010-Job 5

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 5. Here we see a saint so faithful losing everything except his faith. “17 "Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. 18 For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.” – Job 5:17 & 18 (New International Version). Do you have a different understanding of Job’s Faith? Please send me your reasoning in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”- Hebrews 6:10 – New International Version.

Dear Saints,

This weekend you and I prayerfully continue our Feast in, Job 1, 2 & 3. Let’s continue to pray together, http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. Praise the Lord, Bill Hesser is home recovering from Bariatric surgery, pray for our Lord to heal, renew & comfort the Saints and those who will be. I pray that all of us are strengthened by Jesus’ commission for the Saints. Look for the blessings from God; “’Does Job fear God for nothing?’ Satan replied. ‘Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.’" Job 1:9-11. (New International Version)

Have a blessed cheerful sharing weekend. It is easy to be a Christian when you are receiving God’s blessing.

It is important to put on your full Christian armor daily; “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 (New International Version) If God is willing I’ll send and post the Feast News Monday.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”- Psalm 139:13-14 (New International Version)

Job an Overview

“This book is so called from Job, whose prosperity, afflictions, and restoration, are here recorded. He lived soon after Abraham, or perhaps before that patriarch. Most likely it was written by Job himself, and it is the most ancient book in existence. The instructions to be learned from the patience of Job, and from his trials, are as useful now, and as much needed as ever. We live under the same Providence, we have the same chastening Father, and there is the same need for correction unto righteousness. The fortitude and patience of Job, though not small, gave way in his severe troubles; but his faith was fixed upon the coming of his Redeemer, and this gave him stedfastness and constancy, though every other dependence, particularly the pride and boast of a self-righteous spirit, was tried and consumed. Another great doctrine of the faith, particularly set forth in the book of Job, is that of Providence. It is plain, from this history, that the Lord watched over his servant Job with the affection of a wise and loving father.”- Matthew Henry Concise

12 & 13 May 2010 Esther 9 & 10

clip_image002

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Esther 9 & Esther 10. I’m going to be gone with my daughter on Thursday, that is why I’m sending out our Feast for two days. Once again we see that promotion is truly by God. “1 King Xerxes imposed tribute throughout the empire, to its distant shores. 2 And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king had raised him, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Media and Persia? 3 Mordecai the Jew was second in rank to King Xerxes, preeminent among the Jews, and held in high esteem by his many fellow Jews, because he worked for the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews.” - Esther 3:8 & 9 (New International Version). Do you have a different reason for Mordecai’s promotion? Please send me your reasoning about the king’s reaction on this in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:”- Proverbs 31:10, 27-28 – New International Version.

Please join me in praise & prayer at http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. Let’s thank God for his love and strength, feast in His Word, pray and sing his praises together. Rejoicing and praying. We are praising God, we thank you Jesus, that your perfect will is done, thank You Jesus. Let me know how we can pray for you!

The Feast Daily News

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Esther 8. Are you enjoying our feast here in Esther? “15 Mordecai left the king's presence wearing royal garments of blue and white, a large crown of gold and a purple robe of fine linen. And the city of Susa held a joyous celebration. 16 For the Jews it was a time of happiness and joy, gladness and honor. 17 In every province and in every city, wherever the edict of the king went, there was joy and gladness among the Jews, with feasting and celebrating. And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them.- Esther 8:15 - 17 (New International Version). See it’s a true saying;”all you need is love.”

Today we saw love prosper against all odds, in today’s Feast. Were ever you’re reaching people for Jesus remember, all you need is love and a measure of the Holy Spirit, whose temple you are. You can reach me at: mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. Lord willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”- Ephesians 4:32. – (New International Version)

May 10, 2010-Esther 7

The Feast Daily News

image

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Esther 7. Did you have a blessed weekend? This week’s Feast reminds me of the lengths Jesus will go to please his people. “9 Haman went out that day happy and in high spirits. But when he saw Mordecai at the king's gate and observed that he neither rose nor showed fear in his presence, he was filled with rage against Mordecai. 10 Nevertheless, Haman restrained himself and went home.

Calling together his friends and Zeresh, his wife, 11 Haman boasted to them about his vast wealth, his many sons, and all the ways the king had honored him and how he had elevated him above the other nobles and officials. 12 "And that's not all," Haman added. "I'm the only person Queen Esther invited to accompany the king to the banquet she gave. And she has invited me along with the king tomorrow. 13 But all this gives me no satisfaction as long as I see that Jew Mordecai sitting at the king's gate." - Esther 5:11-13 (New International Version).

Let me know how you feel about God’s blessing for Haman, truly a braggart as you will see in today’s Feast. When we get into today’s Feast we see the instrument of our own hands could be used against us, if we have it in for God’s purpose, or people. mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“{A Brother Who Sins Against You} "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.”- Matthew 18:15. – (New International Version.)

The Feast

10 May 2010 Esther 7, “Esther accuses Haman. (1-6) Haman hanged on his own gallows. (7-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise
