July 27, 2010-Psalm 30

image

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalm 30 . It amazes me God’s Word has paid the price for me!

“Praise to God for deliverance. (1-5)

Psalm 30:1-5. The great things the Lord has done for us, both by his providence and by his grace, bind us in gratitude to do all we can to advance his kingdom among men, though the most we can do is but little. God's saints in heaven sing to him; why should not those on earth do the same? Not one of all God's perfections carries in it more terror to the wicked, or more comfort to the godly, than his holiness. It is a good sign that we are in some measure partakers of his holiness, if we can heartily rejoice at the remembrance of it. Our happiness is bound up in the Divine favour; if we have that, we have enough, whatever else we want; but as long as God's anger continues, so long the saints' weeping continues.” – Psalm 30:1 - 5 (Matthew Henry Concise.) God doesn’t want to look at his creation always in tears of never being satisfied. His holiness itself should set us free in order for us to come to him singing his praises. There is no room for self pity in a Saints life, Nurture your relationship with God thanking him, that we have everything we need. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“[God Disciplines His Sons] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”- Hebrews 12:1- New International Version.

The Feast

27 July 2010 Psalm 30 “Praise to God for deliverance. (1-5) Others encouraged by his example. (6-12).” - Matthew Henry Concise

God Bless you,

Brother Mike

July 26, 2010-Psalm 28-29

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalm 28 & Psalm 29. Did you have a great weekend? Our God is AWESOME; God’s Word has done the job! “The voice of the LORD shakes the desert; the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry, "Glory!" The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever. The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.” – Psalm 29:8 - 11 (New International Version.) Yes he wants us to go and share his perfect love. Because He is faithful, we have eternal Joy in Jesus, this is more precious than coincidence of happenstance. Please let me know how you feel in an email to me mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”- Matthew 16:15-16 - New International Version.

July 22, 2010-Psalm 23-24

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalm 23 & Psalm 24. Do not banter, nor try to protect our Lord. Our God is AWESOME, his Word is a two edged Sword. If they are not on our team and yet they want to banter, God’s Word has done the job! “The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.” – Psalm 24:1 – 2 (New International Version.) Yes he wants us to go and share his perfect love. Because He is faithful, we have eternal Joy in Jesus. Share that love, but if they just want to banter move on to someone who wants God’s love. His Word has already prepared them.

July 21, 2010-Psalm 22

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalm 22. Do not remove yourself far from our Lord. We need to praise his name and thank Him for joy; “1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning?” – Psalm 22:1 – New International Version. Yes he loved us while we were yet sinners. Again because He is faithful, we have eternal Joy in Jesus. If you want to feel near to Him pray continually, foster your relationship with God. What about the prosperous? “Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” - Matthew 7:21-23 (New International Version). Please let me know how you feel in an email to me mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws.”- Psalm 119:30 - New International Version.
