Tue, Jan 18, 2011, Isaiah 1

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast finished with Isaiah1, (New King James Version).  Isaiah is so intense when we read here we find out how we stand as a nation.  Then we must examine our personal relationship with Jesus. “Come now, and let us reason together, ”Says the LORD,“ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20 (New King James Version).   We know how we stand as a nation built on the laws of God, crumbling by the devices of non-believers.  Take the time today, evaluating your relationship with Jesus. The only one who can do that is you and when you see how you measure up then; “Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”  James 5:7-8 (New King James Version).  If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to share the Feast with others. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” - 1 Corinthians 10:13- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Isaiah Overview

“Isaiah prophesied in the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. He has been well called the evangelical prophet, on account of his numerous and full prophesies concerning the coming and character, the ministry and preaching, the sufferings and death of the Messiah, and the extent and continuance of his kingdom. Under the veil of the deliverance from Babylon, Isaiah points to a much greater deliverance, which was to be effected by the Messiah; and seldom does he mention the one, without alluding at the same time to the other; nay, he is often so much enraptured with the prospect of the more distant deliverance, as to lose sight of that which was nearer, and to dwell on the Messiah's person, office, character, and kingdom.” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Dear Saints,

Mon, Jan 17, 2011, 2 Timothy 4

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast finished with 2 Timothy 4, (New International Version, ©2010).  I always feel refreshed on Monday morning, ready to follow God’s will in the new workweek.  Did you have a good weekend?  You probably shared the gift of Salvation in the manner which you conduct yourself. “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:1-3. - (New International Version ©2010).   God set’s it up for us right here in His Word (2 Timothy 4:1-3). So all we have to do is be ready to share the Word of God, whenever the opportunity gives us the green light.  He warns us that green light won’t always be available.  If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to share the Feast with others. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.” - Philippians 2:14-16 - (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Jan 14-16, 2011, 2 Timothy 1-3

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue with 2 Timothy 1, 2 Timothy 2 and 2 Timothy 3 (New International Version, ©2010).  I thank God through the blood of Jesus for the opportunity to share this Feast with the Saints.  When people ask me what I do for a living; I answer I’ve been appointed by The Holy Spirit to share Gods Word with the Saints. “What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. 2 Timothy 1:13–14, (New International Version ©2010).   I am happy knowing you too also enjoy this peace that passes understanding, sharing Christ Jesus, with any you meet. This is why I say we need fellowship with each other and a personal relationship with Jesus through whom we seek the Father.  “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.)” 2 Timothy 2:22 – 26  (New International Version, ©2010) If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to share the Feast with others. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast Monday.

“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” - 1 John 4:20-21- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Overview II Timothy

The first design of this epistle seems to have been, to apprize Timothy of what had occurred during the imprisonment of the apostle, and to request him to come to Rome. But being uncertain whether he should be suffered to live to see him, Paul gives a variety of advices and encouragements, for the faithful discharge of his ministerial duties. As this was a private epistle written to St. Paul's most intimate friend, under the miseries of imprisonment, and in the near prospect of death, it shows the temper and character of the apostle, and contains convincing proofs that he sincerely believed the doctrines he preached. - Matthew Henry Concise.

We pray that you will accept Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes you need fellowship. If you want to correspond with an ordained minister, Pastor Glen would love to hear from you mailto:evangelistglen@yahoo.com

Fri, Jan 14, 2011, 2 Timothy 2; “The apostle exhorts Timothy to persevere with diligence, like a soldier, a combatant, and a husbandman. Jan 12, 2011, Song of Solomon 8

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue finish our feast in the Song of Solomon with Song of Solomon 8.  The Jewish church found the path through the wilderness, with the support of God. We the Christian church have been accepted into the family of God, by the grace of Jesus; “5 Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved?” Song of Solomon 7:13 (New International Version ©2010).   This is why I say we need fellowship with each other and a personal relationship with Jesus through whom we seek the Father.  “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Eph 2:18 -19 (Modern King James).  If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 - (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Jan 12, 2011, Song of Solomon 7

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Song of Solomon 7.  My Lord and Savior knows me.  He knows how I labor to prepare a perfect table to send His Word.  Like you I strive to know my Lord better than the day before; “13 The mandrakes send out their fragrance, and at our door is every delicacy, both new and old, that I have stored up for you, my beloved.” Song of Solomon 7:13 (New International Version ©2010).   If you want to know Him you must be a willing vessel for His love and use. If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” - Galatians 3:26-28 - (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

Jan 10-11, 2011, Song of Solomon 5 & 6

Jan 10-11, 2011, Song of Solomon 5 & 6clip_image002

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Song of Solomon 5 and Song of Solomon 6.  I’m sorry I had to send a two day Feast today; yesterday I was too sick to do the Feast.  We continue on enjoying our Feast that speaks of the Bride (Church) and the love that is held for the Groom (Christ).   “2 My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to browse in the gardens and to gather lilies. 3 I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; he browses among the lilies.” - Song of Solomon 6:2 - 3 (New International Version ©2010).   Now is the time we think about the Churches future and labor for our God; " After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:1–2.  Modern King James Version.  So whatever we do and wherever we go let’s keep issue Number one salvation and the sharing of such issue number one.  If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251 let your light shine. Let’s continue to feast together so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” - Psalm 118:5-6- (Bible Gateway dot com, New International Version ©2010).

January 7-9, 2011-Song of Solomon 2 - 4

Dear Saints,

For Friday, Saturday & Sunday we prayerfully continue our Feast in Song of Solomon 2, Song of Solomon 3 & Song of Solomon 4.  Some days we all need someone to run to.  In these scriptures we see the love of God and the grace of Jesus; “The mutual love of Christ and his church. (1-7) The hope and calling of the church. (8-13) Christ's care of the church, Her faith and hope. (14-17) Verses 1-7 Believers are beautiful, as clothed in the righteousness of Christ; and fragrant, as adorned with the graces of his Spirit; and they thrive under the refreshing beams of the Sun of righteousness. The lily is a very noble plant in the East; it grows to a considerable height, but has a weak stem. The church is weak in herself, yet is strong in Him that supports her. The wicked, the daughters of this world, who have no love to Christ, are as thorns, worthless and useless, noxious and hurtful. Corruptions are thorns in the flesh; but the lily now among thorns, shall be transplanted into that paradise where there is no brier or thorn. The world is a barren tree to the soul; but Christ is a fruitful one. And when poor souls are parched with convictions of sin, with the terrors of the law, or the troubles of this world, weary and heavy laden, they may find rest in Christ. It is not enough to pass by this shadow, but we must sit down under it. Believers have tasted that the Lord Jesus is gracious; his fruits are all the precious privileges of the new covenant, purchased by his blood, and communicated by his Spirit; promises are sweet to a believer, and precepts also. Pardons are sweet, and peace of conscience sweet. If our mouths are out of taste for the pleasures of sin, Divine consolations will be sweet to us. Christ brings the soul to seek and to find comforts through his ordinances, which are as a banqueting-house where his saints feast with him. The love of Christ, manifested by his death, and by his word, is the banner he displays, and believers resort to it. How much better is it with the soul when sick from love to Christ, than when surfeited with the love of this world! And though Christ seemed to have withdrawn, yet he was even then a very present help. All his saints are in his hand, which tenderly holds their aching heads. Finding Christ thus nigh to her, the soul is in great care that her communion with him is not interrupted. We easily grieve the Spirit by wrong tempers. Let those who have comfort, fear sinning it away.” Matthew Henry Concise

“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” - Ephesians 5:1-2

This being true we should approach others that same grace Jesus showed us. They really want a relationship with Jesus!  There is no guessing our God is Awesome!
