7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 6
The Feast
Apr 11-2012 Mark 6
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 6. Here we see Jesus sending out the disciples in pairs. He tells them that If anyone doesn’t receive them to shake the dust from their feet as a testimony against them. “12 So they went out and proclaimed that people should repent.13 And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them.” Mark 6:12-13 ESV. Even when the possibilities dictated that they were going to be doing a lot of dust shaking they did a bang up job. Just because they did a great job and were so successful at that time didn’t mean they would have smooth sailing always. Look at John the Baptist; he went out in the world preparing the way for Jesus. He was very successful and on fire for the kingdom of God. Yet his life was taken because someone felt condemned about the word of God. “25 And she came in immediately with haste to the king and asked, saying, “I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter.” 26 And the king was exceedingly sorry, but because of his oaths and his guests he did not want to break his word to her.” Mark 6:25 - 26 ESV. No matter what you go through in Saintly Service, there is no guarantee that everything will be sun shine and summer days for us. Just like everyone else we need to be aware that we are in the world. ”16 “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.17 Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues,” Matthew 10:16-17 ESV. Jesus warned the disciples that the possibilities warranted examination. So why did they continue in Saintly Service? They had faith that allowed them to see a larger reward than what the world could offer. “19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 ESV. Be blessed in Saintly Service to God with a loving and peaceful spirit. Then your heart will be with your treasure. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 ESV. I ’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow as we continue to prepare for Saintly Service.
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

“know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:15 ESV.

Who? Mark 4

Apr 9_2012 Mark 4
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 4. Blessed Redeemer, Happy Easter! God blessed us Saints, he overcame death and now we have the pleasure to serve the living God with you. Here in Mark we get glimpses of Jesus power and glory. “39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” 41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”” Mark 4:39 - 41 ESV. You see God is fair with every person, He tells us that he is not willing that any should parish. He would rather they repent from sin and spend their time in a true relationship with him. First let’s see if we can answer that question concerning Jesus; “Who then is this that even the wind and sea obey him?” “10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”” Mark 1:10-11 ESV. Oh now I see he is one of God’s sons right? Wrong he is God’s only begotten son! ”16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. Now we have an understanding, Jesus is God’s only Son! We need to have a relationship with God’s only Son Jesus keeping the first thing first. “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” Ephesians 1:7 ESV. You see knowing who Jesus is and trying to live for him is not enough. It really takes a personal relationship with Jesus;“31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’” Matthew 25:31-36 ESV. Just knowing who Jesus is isn’t enough, enjoy a relationship with Him; “19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.” - James 2:19 - 23 ESV. In establishing our relationship with Jesus we become God’s friend just as father Abraham did. “13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” - John 15:13-15 ESV. Thank you Jesus, give us strength and guidance as we attempt to Saintly Serve you Father; Amen! “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:3 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. The Announcement Mark 1 – 3
7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 1-3
l The Weekend Feast l
![]()
Apr 6-8_2012 Mark Chapter 1- 3
Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 1 through Mark 3. Mark opens with John the Baptist making the way for or announcing the coming of Jesus. “1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,
“Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way,
3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight,’”
4 John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.” Mark 1:1-4, English Standard Version. Now this goes right along with what we call “Saintly Service” putting the first thing first. The first thing is salvation by the grace of God through the blood of the Lamb.
Mark an Overview: ”Mark was a sister's son to Barnabas, ( Colossians 4:10 and Acts 12:12 ) shows that he was the son of Mary, a pious woman of Jerusalem, at whose house the apostles and first Christians ( 1Peter. 5:13 ) evangelist is supposed to have been converted by that apostle. Thus Mark was closely united with the followers of our Lord, if not himself one of the number. Mark wrote at Rome; some suppose that Peter dictated to him, though the general testimony is, that the apostle having preached at Rome, Mark, who was the apostle's companion, and had a clear understanding of what Peter delivered, was desired to commit the particulars to writing. And we may remark, that the great humility of Peter is very plain where any thing is said about himself. Scarcely an action or a work of Christ is mentioned, at which this apostle was not present, and the minuteness shows that the facts were related by an eye-witness. This Gospel records more of the miracles than of the discourses of our Lord, and though in many things it relates the same things as the Gospel according to St. Matthew, we may reap advantages from reviewing the same events, placed by each of the evangelists in that point of view which most affected his own mind.” – Matthew Henry Concise.
Saints prayerfully move forward to the New Testament Feast in Mark. Just because it’s Good Friday it is a great time to share God’s Love.; “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.” 1 John 3:16 ESV . I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. “For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 ESV.
