Faith Mark 11

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3Mark 11 l The Feast l Apr 16_2012 Mark 11 Dear Saints, Thank God it is Monday, I pray you all had a blessed weekend. Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 11. God blessed us Saints, he overcame death and now we have the pleasure to serve the living God with you. Here in Mark Jesus says we need faith to serve him; “22 Jesus replied to them, “Have faith in God. 23 I assure you: If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for—believe that you have received them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:22 - 24, Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) Our loving God is faithful in his relationship with us; “9 Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9, HCSB. You see knowing who Jesus is and trying to live for him is not enough. It really takes a personal faith based relationship with Jesus. So what is faith? “1 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.” Hebrews 11:1, HCSB. Just knowing who Jesus is isn’t enough, we need a faith based relationship with Him. “Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.” - Hebrews 11:6, HCSB. Even Abraham's works were done in faith; “22 You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected. 23 So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.” - James 2:22 - 23 HCSB. In establishing our relationship with Jesus we become God’s friend just as father Abraham did. “13 No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 I do not call you slaves anymore, because a slave doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father” - John 15:13-15 HCSB. Lets continue to faithfully Saintly Serve our Lord! Keeping the first thing first which is salvation a gift from the Father paid for in the blood of Jesus, in which we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. “16 know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.” Galatians 2:16 HCSB. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. The Feast Monday April 09, 2012 - Mark 11 Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. (1-11) The barren fig-tree cursed, The temple cleansed.(12-18) Prayer in faith. (19-26) The priests and elders questioned concerning John the Baptist. Serving Saints Mark 8 - 10

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 8-10 l The Weekend Feast l Apr 13-15_2012 Mark Chapter 8- 10 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 8 through Mark 10. In Mark 8 Jesus tells how to join him in Saintly Service. Jesus explains to them how they are to give up what they can’t keep for that which the cannot loose. “ 34 Summoning the crowd along with His disciples, He said to them, “If anyone wants to be My follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me and the gospel will save it. 36 For what does it benefit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his life? 37 What can a man give in exchange for his life? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”” Mark 1:1-4, Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) Is this what we call “Saintly Service” putting the first thing first? The first thing is salvation by the grace of God through the blood of the Lamb. Sharing this with others so that they can join us in God’s kingdom. We will find many more examples of how Saints prayerfully move forward in this weekends Feast in Mark. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:23-24 HCSB. Do you want to join the Saints in Saintly Service? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! Enough Said Mark 7

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Mark 7 The Feast Apr 12_2012 Mark 7 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 7.  Here we see Jesus teaching.  What defiles a person; 17 When He went into the house away from the crowd, the disciples asked Him about the parable. 18 And He said to them, “Are you also as lacking in understanding?  Don’t you realize that nothing going into a man from the outside can defile him? 19 For it doesn’t go into his heart but into the stomach and is eliminated.” (As a result, He made all foods clean.)  20 Then He said, “What comes out of a person—that defiles him. 21 For from within, out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders, 22 adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, promiscuity, stinginess, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a person.” A Gentile Mother’s Faith; “24 He got up and departed from there to the region of Tyre and Sidon.  He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it, but He could not escape notice. 25 Instead, immediately after hearing about Him, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit came and fell at His feet. 26 Now the woman was Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to drive the demon out of her daughter. 27 He said to her, “Allow the children to be satisfied first, because it isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 28 But she replied to Him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”  29 Then He told her, “Because of this reply, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” 30 When she went back to her home, she found her child lying on the bed, and the demon was gone.”  Mark 7:17 - 29  HCSB.   I can’t add to these scriptures, they speak for themselves.    Continue to be blessed in Saintly Service to God with a loving and peaceful spirit.   “[Take Up Your Cross] Then He said to them all, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
