7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jhn 21 l The Feast l Sep 27_2012 John 21 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in .John 21 Our Lord Jesus has Christ appears to his disciples. His discuses Peters relationship with Him. Jesus makes a declaration concerning John. The conclusion makes a profound statement about all that has been revealed in the book of John. “25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” John 21:25, English Standard Version (ESV). What do you think that this ending means to us the believers? I think it may mean that the Lord has revealed enough so that any who hears it should believe in Jesus. If he wrote about enough of Jesus miracles to fill the whole earth, those that are not convinced that Jesus is Lord wouldn't change their mind. Sometimes we need to realize when to be content with what the Lord has given us. It's as if to say there is no more that can be said or done to win our soul. What Christ has done for us should be sufficient more just isn't justified. “8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 English Standard Version (ESV). With this in mind we may want to look at our position in God's life and our part in the Church and ask, what can I do Lord. Pray read God's Word and seek his purpose for your life. “8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9 ESV. Continue to prayerfully read God's Word everyday. That's how we continue to grow in love, faith and grace. “And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD” Deuteronomy 8:3 ESV. Let's continue to Feast together and keep the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 ESV. Where is it written? John 20

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jhn 20 l The Feast l Sep 26_2012 John 20 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in John 20. Our Lord Jesus has arisen overcoming death and sin. He gave the Disciples and those that believe because of them direction. These things were all done so that we would believe. “30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:30-31, English Standard Version (ESV). Does our belief mean that we should attend a bible believing church on Sunday? As long as we do that everyone will know we are good “Christians” able to look down on those who are not members of our church, until Jesus comes again. Knowing this as a matter of fact makes the following verse a silly exercise; “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV). God tells us to be strong as we stand with Him against the enemies of Jesus. Hmm? That seems a little silly doesn't it? Doesn't God's Word say that his people should be fat and flourishing? We really are righteous, which surely means we can bag on those who don't belong to our denomination! “13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” Psalm 92:13-15 King James Version. If any of the things I just presented makes perfect sense, you better prayerfully read God's Word. In context God's word makes perfect sense. Be very careful where you get instruction from. When somebody says this, hold it up to the whole Word of God, make sure it doesn't mean that. There are many false doctrines and teachers preaching “God's words” today. “13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 ESV. With these things in mind we see how important it is to read God's word daily. Hence our Feast together. Jesus paid the whole price for our sin. There is nothing left for us to pay so, keep the first thing first! Never never get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

Here we see the awful final price Jesus paid for our sin. “28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” 29 A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” John 19:28-30, English Standard Version (ESV). I want to continue by sharing something from brother Robert Waters with you today.; THE HOLY SPIRIT IS CALLING        09/2512   # 349 “Ephesians 1:3-8 (New International Version) 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace 8 that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.  What great love God has for us, just look at what He says in these five verses. Sharing Faith! John 18

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jhn 18 l The Feast l Sep 24_2012 John 18 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in John 18. I hope you all had a great weekend. Let's endeavor to move forward sharing God's Word and living a blameless life. We know that Jesus paid the full price for our sin. Does this mean we should breeze through this life in this world with no problems unscathed? Jesus made this very clear when Pilate questioned him about being a king of this world.;“36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”” John 15:5, English Standard Version (ESV). So does this mean we don't care what happens on Earth until Jesus gathers us to his kingdom? I think not, we are at war with the rulers of this world. We need to be prepared to serve our awesome God. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave his life so that we would be able to love and serve him. “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV). God tells us to be strong as we stand with the Holy Spirit against the enemies of Jesus. Something that saints have been unwilling to do in recent years. I read about a man being arrested because as he read Romans out loud, a policeman felt he was personally being attacked. I read of a young schoolboy being humiliated for bowing his head to ask Jesus to bless his lunch. A few Atheist are responsible for getting Jesus name kicked out of prayer in the military. We can't post the ten commandments in courthouses in the U.S. I wonder why have we become so weak in our faith that we are afraid to stand up for our God? If we can't do anything else share the Feast. Then we may have some just workmen rightly dividing the Word of God. “14 Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:14-15 ESV. We cannot present ourselves approved without prayer and studying in God's holy Word. All things are possible through our God. Through the Feast in God's word our faith grows. “16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:16-17 ESV. Please share the love of God, and share faith by sharing the word of God. Keep the first thing first! 7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jhn 15-17 l The Feast l Sep 21-23_2012 John 15-17 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully Feast in John 15, 16, and 17. As we go about this weekend start each day with prayer and feasting in God's Word. Keep the light burning as a beacon for those who are lost in the dark. “5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5, English Standard Version (ESV). Trust God as you go you have the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Through Him God will show you where to go and what to say. “13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” John 16:13 English Standard Version (ESV). As the disciples testified of Jesus, the Lord has forgiven our sin and gave us eternal life. As we go forth sharing the love of God, those that follow Him will have theirs sins forgiven and receive salvation. “20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” John 17:20-23 ESV. Saints we can boldly share the love of God. Rmember we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit bares witness to Jesus' deity. “15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you” John 14:15-17 ESV. Trust God who has sealed you with the Holy Spirit. Let our light shine as we continue to keep the first thing first! Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word.
