Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 19. Jehoshaphat visits his kingdom
and appoints certain Levites and priests and heads of families of Israel, to
give judgment for the Lord and to decide disputed cases. “11 And behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of
the Lord; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the governor of the house of
Judah, in all the king's matters, and the Levites will serve you as officers.
Deal courageously, and may the Lord be with the upright!”” 2 Chronicles 19:11 English Standard Version
(ESV). Our Lord knows we are not perfect. God expects us to keep faith in
Jesus. If we love the Lord with all
our heart and seek him with all our might, we won’t need to worry about what people
or our civil leaders are doing to or for us. “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the
ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for
a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in
that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 ESV. So
when we see our civil leaders or for that matter anyone doing things that don’t
favor our situation what action do we take. Americans have the right to complain aloud
about our leaders, ask yourself is that truly profitable? I believe a letter sent without malice
would go much farther in inspiring them to take care. Pastor Jon Lilley had this to say on the
same subject; “Have you ever dealt with a difficult person? Of course you
have. Dealing with difficult people is a part of life. How should we handle
those difficult people? Our first reaction may be to get angry and upset, but
this is not how God wants us to respond.”
Jon went on to tell us what God’s Word says about how to deal with
people who are not treating us fairly; “God gives us instructions on how to
handle difficult people in His Word. In Ephesians, God tells us to be

I personally agree with our brother in the Lord. Keep the faith and let your light shine.

Do many religions lead to Heaven?
April 9, 2013 - 2 Chronicles 18
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in a double
portion in 2 Chronicles 18. The King of Israel heard the
profit say he would die in battle. So the
king of Israel disguised himself, and they went into battle. Just as we said before you cannot hide from
God. “33 But a certain man drew his bow at random and
struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate.
Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and carry me out
of the battle, for I am wounded.” 34 And the battle continued that day, and
the king of Israel was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians until
evening. Then at sunset he died.” 2
Chronicles 18:33-34 English Standard Version (ESV). God knows the
thoughts you have. He knows who you are, where you are, and what’s on your
heart. “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the
exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his
power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of
the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:3 ESV. There is no hiding from the glory of God. Jesus is our light and men that don’t know Jesus
flee from that light. They love evil and
hate the light because it exposes their sin.
Faith justifies those that believe in Jesus. Salvation is truly the gift of God and no
man comes to the father except by Jesus!
“Jesus said
to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through me.” John 14:6
ESV. There are no other paths to God! Only your personal relationship with Jesus
will take you to heaven.

Where should I look?
April 8, 2013 - 2 Chronicles 16-17
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in a double portion
in 2 Chronicles 16-17. in chapter 16 we see the end
of King Asa’s reign and the results of his lack of faith in God. In chapter 17 his son Jehoshaphat is off to
a good start with God. “3 The Lord was with Jehoshaphat,
because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek
the Baals, 4 but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments,
and not according to the practices of Israel. 5 Therefore the Lord established
the kingdom in his hand. And all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he
had great riches and honor. 6 His heart was courageous in the ways of the
Lord. And furthermore, he took the high places and the Asherim out of Judah.” 2 Chronicles 17:3-6 English Standard
Version (ESV). Those of us, who have a good start with our faith in the Lord Jesus,
should keep faith to the end. “For if while we were enemies we
were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are
reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” Romans 5:10 ESV. Jesus
died for our sin while we were still sinning.
Because he pulled us up out of our worldly ways, we should keep faith
in Jesus until God calls us home. As long as we hold onto our faith we will
never fall. “29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter
got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But
when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord,
save me!”” Matthew 14:29-30 ESV. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not the condition
of the world around us. Look to Jesus
the author and finisher of our faith.
