Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 13 .  This feast Teaches us that love is the greatest gift a saint can share. While other things are temporary God’s love endures forever.   8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 English Standard Version (ESV).  We soon find that the love of God that we share is essential to keeping God’s commandments. That love is to be shared with our neighbors.  36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”” Matthew 22:36-40 ESV.  How can we love our neighbors when we know they are not part of the body of Jesus?  To quote Robert Waters; “Love your neighbors hate the sin!”  Remember that God is not willing that any should die in their sin.  (see Matthew 18:13-15)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 12 .  Paul tells the Corinthians that they all part of Christ and his church; together we form one body, with Jesus as Head and us as members.  27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts.
And I will show you a still more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 English Standard Version. (ESV).  Which part of the body is more aware than the head?  No person survives without a head. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV.  No matter where we stand in the body of Christ we all have reason to rejoice and be glad.  Praise God for salvation thru the blood of the lamb.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 11 .  Paul tells the Corinthians that they should be imitators of him, as he is of Christ.  He reminded the Corinthians to judge themselves so they will not be judged by others.  He tells us how Christians should conduct themselves when they take communion.  30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. 31 But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:30-32 English Standard Version (ESV).  We are reminded that over indulgence in food or drink is bad for us.  Saints must conduct themselves in a manner which glorifies Jesus.  Don’t add hoops for our brothers and sisters to jump through when they are trying to follow Jesus. If someone asks us to pray for them we should honor them by carrying their needs straight to Jesus.  Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16 ESV.  Saints should be assured that when they ask one to another for prayer that the sin or need is NOT fuel for gossip.  In other words prayer for one and another is from our lips to Jesus.
