Presenting Jesus the Christ!
May 9, 2013 – 1 Corinthians 14
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 14 . This
feast Teaches us that
all things should be done decently and in order. If any one takes offense to these words they are offended by God, not
men. “37 If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should
acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord. 38
If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized. 39 So, my brothers,
earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But
all things should be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:37-40 English
Standard Version (ESV). God’s Word
frees us from condemnation. We who are
freed from sin have an obligation to share God’s Word. “[Life in the Spirit] There is therefore now no condemnation for those
who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free
in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2 ESV. Once
we are free from sin and sealed by the Holy Spirit, we love the Word of
God. We share God’s Word with grace and
love and if any person is offended by what we say they are offended by God. If we try to change the meaning of what God’s
Word, to the gospel light; we are lying. We would be sending people on the path to Hell!
We also will be repaid with the wages
of sin, death and eternal punishment.
If we carry God’s message forward with love and no malice, we will be
repaid with the wages of a saint, life everlasting in the kingdom of God. So
let’s present Jesus in love, decently and in order with the Word of God.
Is Jesus is calling out to you? Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?

“36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the
Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and
first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor
as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the
Prophets.”” Matthew 22:36-40 ESV.

Do we share God’s love with ninnies?
May 8, 2013 - 1 Corinthians 13
Dear Saints,
Today we
prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 13 . This
feast Teaches us that love is the greatest gift a saint can share. While
other things are temporary God’s love endures forever. “8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will
pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass
away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect
comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a
child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man,
I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face
to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been
fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of
these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 English Standard Version (ESV). We soon find that the love of God that we
share is essential to keeping God’s commandments. That love is to be shared
with our neighbors. “36 “Teacher, which is the great
commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your
God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38
This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You
shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all
the Law and the Prophets.”” Matthew
22:36-40 ESV. How can we love
our neighbors when we know they are not part of the body of Jesus? To quote Robert Waters; “Love your neighbors
hate the sin!” Remember that God is
not willing that any should die in their sin. (see Matthew 18:13-15)

“19 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from
the truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him know that whoever brings
back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover
a multitude of sins.” James
5:19-20 ESV.

Are we all glad and rejoicing?

Are we all glad and rejoicing?
May 7, 2013 - 1 Corinthians 12
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 12 . Paul
tells the Corinthians that they all part of Christ and his church; together
we form one body, with Jesus as Head and us as members. “27 Now
you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has
appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then
miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds
of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all
work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues?
Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts.
And I will show you a still more excellent way.” 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 English
Standard Version. (ESV). Which part of
the body is more aware than the head?
No person survives without a head. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks
in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV. No matter where we stand in the body of
Christ we all have reason to rejoice and be glad. Praise God for salvation thru the blood of
the lamb.

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and
pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous
person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16 ESV.
