August 26, 2013 – Psalms 20 & 21

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 20 - “This psalm is a prayer for the kings of Israel, but with relation to Christ.” - Matthew Henry Concise
Chapter 21 - “Thanksgiving for victory. (1-6) Confidence of further success. (7-13) ” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 20 & 21.  Chapter 20; This song of prayer is for the Kings relationship with God. Chapter 21; Is thanksgiving for the victory and those to come under God’s protection.  “13 Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength!
    We will sing and praise your power. “   Psalms 21:13 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Today our world is in great conflict.  Men have the audacity to pass laws that support sin.  World leaders are using chemicals to kill their own people.  Today we need to band together as the Lord’s Church and pray that our leaders will submit to Jesus.  We need to pray that they make decisions that are in harmony with God’s plan in Jesus name.

“Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”   John 6:29 ESV.

Listen! Do you hear Jesus, calling? (See Revelation 3:20) Now, while you can still hear him it’s time to answer His call.  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 19.  This song of prayer and praise declares the majesty and love of God. Every saint would benefit for having it on their heart!  “14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    be acceptable in your sight,
    O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.“  Psalms 19:14 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Today renew your love for Christ, live every day renewing the love of Jesus in your heart.  Then share his grace and love!

“3 You keep him in perfect peace
    whose mind is stayed on you,
    because he trusts in you.”   Isaiah 26:3

Our God Is An Awesome God!

August 26, 2013 – Psalms 18

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 18 - “David rejoices in the deliverances God wrought for him. (1-19) He takes the comfort of his integrity, which God had cleared up. (20-28) He gives to God the glory of all his mighty deeds. (29-50)”  - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 18.  This song of praise declares the majesty of God right up front.  “1 I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
    my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
    and I am saved from my enemies..“  Psalms 18:1-3 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Look at what God has done for us!  When we praise and pray to God we are able to say with confidence that He is Awesome and worthy to be praised.  We should always be praying in the name of Jesus thanking Him as our savior!  As we seek the comfort of the Holy Spirit be confident that He will comfort us.  Pray to the God the father expecting His blessing.  When we pray together as a body it is important to share God’s answer with the Church, encouraging everyone who prayed with and for us.

“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”  Romans 12:4-5 ESV.

August 25, 2017 – Psalms 17

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 17 - “David’s integrity. (1-7) The character of his enemies. His hope of happiness. (8-15)”  - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 17.  David is asking God to hear his earnest prayer in chapter 17.  He prays in earnest expecting God to answer.  “ 6 I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God;
    incline your ear to me; hear my words.
7 Wondrously show your steadfast love,
    O Savior of those who seek refuge
    from their adversaries at your right hand.“  Psalms 17:6-7 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Whatever we pray for we are asking in the name of Jesus.  We who are saints have been sealed with the Holy Spirit.  Praying to impress men and not truly expecting an answer grieves the Holy Spirit.  Praying in earnest expecting an answer no matter what it is receives the peace of God.

“Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165 ESV.

Today while Jesus is still calling! (See Revelation 3:20) answer him, listen can you hear him?  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;
