What Is The Great Commission?

Today’s Feast
What Is The Great Commission?
Jesus calls on all believers to share His Word!
Nov. 27,13 – Psalms 119 Verses 97-127

Psalms 119 “…. 7. His judgments; framed in infinite wisdom. 8. His righteousness; it is the rule and standard of what is right. 9. His statutes; they are always binding. 10. His truth or faithfulness; it is eternal truth, it shall endure for ever.” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 119 reading Psalms 119 Verses 97-127The Psalmist proclaims that all true wisdom is from God.   The commandments are the lamp of the Spirit; Therefor we love the law of God.  God’s Word teaches the love, mercy and the justice of God. The psalmist faithfully pursues God’s deliverance. He declares thanksgiving with a person’s whole heart is sacrifices to God.   “175 Let my soul live and praise you, and let your rules help me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.  Psalmn 119:175-176 - English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s Word teaches us that we are saved by faith in Jesus and there is no other way (see John 14:6).   The way of the world brings death but; faith in Jesus is our salvation.  “16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 1 Peter 1:8-9 – ESV.  Today is the day of salvation we who follow Jesus must be lovingly proclaiming His love to all persons (See Matthew 28:16-20).  The great commission is for everyone who believes in Jesus.

Father we thank you for our burden to carry your loving Word to everyone.  Hallelujah!

How Can We Follow Jesus?

Today’s Feast
How Can We Follow Jesus?
Jesus is the only source salvation.
Nov. 26, 2013 – Psalms 119 Verses 49-96

Psalms 119 Verses 49-96 “7. His judgments; framed in infinite wisdom. 8. His righteousness; it is the rule and standard of what is right… ” - Matthew Henry Concise”

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 119 reading Psalms 119 Verses 49-96The Psalmist is acknowledging that God’s judgments display His wisdom and the humble can approach to make their pleas heard.   The Lord is the true believers inheritance.  Also God is the same then, now and forever. He is saying our God deals with us better than we deserve.   Sin makes us unworthy of God’s salvation.  The psalmist faithfully pursued God’s deliverance from his sins.   “89 Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.  Psalmn 119:89-90 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Like the psalmist we must pursue God’s salvation.  The only way to get salvation is through faith in Jesus     (see John 14:6).   God’s Word assures us the only way is through faith in Jesus.  “8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9 – ESV.  Therefor we follow Jesus in faith, knowing that all things work our good (See Colossians 3:17).  Proclaiming; God’s love endures forever!

Father we thank you for sending Jesus to ransom us from sin! Hallelujah!

Share Jesus With Love & Thanksgiving!

Today’s Feast
Share Jesus With Love & Thanksgiving!
Jesus is the only source for a sinner's true happiness.
Nov. 25, 2013 – Psalms 119 Verses 1-48

Psalms 119 Verses 1-48 “The general scope and design of this psalm is to magnify the Divine law, and make it honourable. There are ten words by which Divine revelation is called in this psalm, and each expresses what God expects from us, and what we may expect from him. 1. God's law; this is enacted by him as our Sovereign. 2. His way; this is the rule of his providence. 3. His testimonies; they are solemnly declared to the world. 4. His commandments; given with authority. 5. His precepts; not left as indifferent matters to us. 6. His word, or saying; it is the declaration of his mind. 7. His judgments; framed in infinite wisdom…” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 119 Verses 1-48The Psalmist is talking about a believer's experience.  The youths are living by no rule at all, or choosing false rules.  God covenants are just and we will be held accountable.  The flesh yearns for the gifts of the world; the saints must not give in to the temptations.  The Holy Spirit brings understanding to believers.  Saints live by faith in God’s gifts and by faith we will attain them. “48 I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.  Psalmn 119:48 - English Standard Version (ESV).  It almost feels like this Psalm was written today (see Ecclesiastes 1:9).   God’s Word tells us how to endure all things.  “2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2 – ESV.  We will follow Jesus in faith, love and thanksgiving (See Colossians 3:17).  Telling all the world God’s love endures forever!

Father we thank you for the burden to share your everlasting love! Hallelujah!
