What Is It We Pursue?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 6, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 4

What Is It We Pursue?

“21 Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.”  Proverbs 21:21

Ecclesiastes Chapter 4, “Miseries from oppression. (1-3) troubles from envy. (4-6) The folly of covetousness. (7,8) The advantages of mutual assistance. (9-12) the changes of royalty. (13-16)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 4.  Evil men are going to hate and despise life.  No good comes from a man's envy of his neighbor.   A selfish man cares for nobody but himself. A wise man will work hard blessing those he loves.  “15 I saw all the living who move about under the sun, along with that youth who was to stand in the king's place. 16 There was no end of all the people, all of whom he led. Yet those who come later will not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and a striving after wind.“   Ecclesiastes 4:15-16  English Standard Version (ESV).   If we strive to imitate Jesus we will love our neighbors pray for those who persecute the church (See Matthew 5:43-44).  "For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.“  -  Psalm 33:4-5  ESV.  We are born again pursuing the love of God. We will love our neighbor. In doing so we are fulfilling God’s law (see Romans 13:10).   Continue to pursue the love of God and share salvation in Jesus name.

How Do We Deal With Evil Men?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 5, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 3
How Do We Deal With Evil Men?

“17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”  James 1:17

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3, “The changes of human affairs. (1-10) The Divine counsels unchangeable. (11-15) The vanity of worldly power. (16-22)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 3.  There is instability in the affairs of men.  God encompasses all things and is the stability men seek.  Seeking stability in worldly affairs is vain.  “22 So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his work, for that is his lot. Who can bring him to see what will be after him? “   Ecclesiastes 2:26  English Standard Version (ESV).  Fear of the Lord sheds light on the works of the worldly (See Proverbs 1:7).  "For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.“  -  Psalm 33:4-5  ESV.  Our God is awesome and HIS love is unfathomable to un believers.  Jesus gives us instruction to treat in love with the foolish unbeliever (see Luke 6:35) in the way God deals with evil people.   keep reading God’s Word every day.  If you don’t understand how to deal with anyone ask God (see James 1:5), in Jesus name the Holy Spirit will bring the answer to your remembrance.

Is the Lord Jesus calling you?  Would you like to befriend Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Are We Living For God Or In Vain?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 4, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 2
Living For God Or In Vain?

“14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its desires.”  Romans 13:14

Ecclesiastes Chapter 2, “The vanity and vexation of mirth, sensual pleasure, riches, and pomp. (1-11) Human wisdom insufficient. (12-17) This world to be used according to the will of God. (18-26)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 2.  How are we living our life?  There are two choices; Living for God or our fleshly desires.  Caring for one’s self or all of God’s creation.  “26 For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God.  This also is vanity and a striving after wind.“   Ecclesiastes 2:26  English Standard Version (ESV) Jesus put it best when he said we couldn’t serve two masters (See Matthew 6:24) you really can serve only one; the flesh or Jesus.  Even the rich man, rock star or king, poor man, beggar or thief must make the choice.  King David did; "2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. “  -  Psalm 18:2 ESV.  Today is a good day to make that decision while you are still able (see Deuteronomy 30:19).  If you are inclined to serve Jesus do not waste another moment living in vain.  Don’t wait to change anything; Jesus will help you make any changes you need to make.
Can you feel Jesus calling you?  Do you want an abundant clean life?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Does God’s Wisdom Teach Us?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 3, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 1
Does God’s Wisdom Teach Us?

16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world.”  1 John 2:16

Ecclesiastes an overview, “The name of this book signifies "The Preacher." The wisdom of God here preaches to us, speaking by Solomon, who it is evident was the author. At the close of his life, being made sensible of his sin and folly, he recorded here his experience for the benefit of others, as the book of his repentance; and he pronounced all earthly good to be "vanity and vexation of spirit." It convinces us of the vanity of the world, and that it cannot make us happy; of the vileness of sin, and its certain tendency to make us miserable. It shows that no created good can satisfy the soul, and that happiness is to be found in God alone; and this doctrine must, under the blessed Spirit's teaching, lead the heart to Christ Jesus.”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Ecclesiastes Chapter 1, “Solomon shows that all human things are vain. (1-3) Man's toil and want of satisfaction. (4-8) There is nothing new. (9-11) The vexation in pursuit of knowledge. (12-18)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 1
Today’s Feast is speaks to the value of worldly wisdom.   “18 For in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. “   Ecclesiastes 1:18  English Standard Version (ESV) Our Supreme Court as well as any person seeking understanding the will of God or what is good and right should take a lesson here. You can make laws or be as politically correct as you want; If God says it’s sin it is sin (see Ecclesiastes 7:13).  Don’t be fooled by what the world say’s is proper and right.  The only thing that may be new and good (See Ecclesiastes 3:15) is a repentant sinner gaining salvation through God’s Son Jesus.  "But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.“  -  Psalm 59:16 ESV.  Even the angels in heaven rejoice (see Luke 15:10) whenever a soul turns to Jesus for freedom and that more excellent life.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want freedom?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Conducting Ourselves As Christian?

Today’s Feast

image

Feb. 2, 2014 – 1 Timothy 6
Conducting Ourselves As Christian?
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”  Ephesians 4:29

1 Timothy Chapter 6, “The duty of Christians towards believing, as well as other masters. (1-5) The advantage of godliness with contentment. (6-10) A solemn charge to Timothy to be faithful. (11-16) The apostle repeats his warning to the rich, and closes with a blessing. (17-21)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 1 Timothy  Chapter 6
Today’s Feast is about the relationship between believers no matter what their station in life might be.  Contentment in Godliness and keeping the faith. Again therein is advice to the believers who are rich in worldly possessions.   20 O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,”   1 Timothy 6:20  English Standard Version (ESV) It’s up to us to guard against those that appear to be saints yet underneath they are denying the power of Jesus (see 2 Timothy 3:5). We cannot be deceived by those (see Titus 3:9) that hold onto worldly philosophy, (a higher powerRomans 2:24} spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.  But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”“ – 1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV .  Because we love Jesus we conduct ourselves as Christians in hope, faith and love wearing salvation (see Ephesians 6:17) as a helmet.

Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Would you like to be free?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
