“23 And
the Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord's hand shortened? Now you shall see
whether my word will come true for you or not.”” Numbers
11:23
Isaiah
Chapter 59, “Reproofs of sin and wickedness. (1-8) Confession of sin, and lamentation for the consequences.(9-15) Promises of deliverance. (16-21)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading
Isaiah
Chapter 59. Prayers are
deplored by God; if we pray in any other name than (see
Isaiah
59:1-8) Jesus. You are
the saints (see 1 Corinthians
1:2) the Word of God refers to! If we seek our God in any name besides
Jesus (see Isaiah
59:13) we are like fools who dishonor God. This prophesy is about the coming Messiah
Jesus; “20 “And a
Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,”
declares the Lord. 21 “And as for
me, this
is my covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words
that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the
mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says
the Lord, “from this time forth and
forevermore.””
Isaiah
58:14 English Standard Versions (ESV. Other than Jesus there is no other name
(see
Isaiah 42:8; Acts
4:12) we should seek God the Father’s blessings in. “Consequently, he is able to save to
the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to
make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25 ESV. Hear God’s Word Saints; Jesus overcomes oppression and
is glorified when our prayers call on Him to intercede (see 2 Corinthians 5:18-19) with God for us.
Can you hear Jesus calling you? Do you want to be free from
oppression? Do you want to find true
happiness, peace and purpose in your life?

Isaiah
Chapter 58, “Hypocrisy reproved. (1,2) A counterfeit and a true
fast, with promises to real godliness, and, (3-12)to the keeping the sabbath. (13,14)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading
Isaiah
Chapter 58. Hypocrisy
and the hypocrite (see
Mark
7:6-7) denounced
by God. A proper fast
blesses the person fasting, God’s people and (see Matthew
25:35) God. The Sabbath is a covenant between God
(see Luke
1:49) and man; “14 then
you shall take delight in the Lord, and I will make you ride on the heights of
the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth
of the Lord has spoken.””
Isaiah
58:14 English Standard Versions (ESV. Jesus encourages us to fast not for
selfish reasons but rather (see Matthew
6:16) to get closer to him. “To them God chose to make known how
great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching
everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in
Christ.” Colossians 1:27-28 ESV. We glorify Jesus when our fellowship, prayers and
actions glorify (see Colossians 3:16) God.

abominable idolatries of the Jewish nation. (3-12) Promises to the humble and contrite. (13-21)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading
Isaiah
Chapter 57. There is no sting of death for contrite persons; they will
(see
Luke
2:29) will
enter into peace and rest. When
accountability is required by God (see Psalm
35:21) the foolish ridicule the word of God. As
contrite and humble servants of the Lord we will receive (see Luke
1:49) God’s blessings. There is no peace for those who rail
against God; “20 But the wicked are like the
tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. 21 There is no
peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.””
Isaiah
57:20-21 English Standard Versions (ESV. The Lord draws near to comfort
(see
Psalm
34:18) the repentant and contrite heart. “knowing that you were ransomed from
the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such
as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb
without blemish or spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19 ESV. God’s son was not sacrificed for the righteous (see Romans 3:9-11) instead He ransomed the contrite hearted ones who called on
Jesus for salvation..

Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews

Isaiah
Chapter 56, “A charge to keep the Divine precepts. (1,2) Blessings
promised. (3-8) Reproof to the careless watchmen, the teachers and rulers of the
Jews. (9-12)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading
Isaiah
Chapter 55.
Those who trust God and turn to Jesus as their savior
(see Revelation
3:12) will
never need anything more. The Christians
will (see John 10:16
) be members of God’s chosen people. As believers we
should pray for pastors that follow Jesus with their whole being;
“11 The
dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who
have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own
gain, one and all. 12 “Come,”
they say, “let me get wine; let us fill ourselves with strong drink; and
tomorrow will be like this day, great beyond
measure.”
Isaiah
56:11-12 English Standard Versions (ESV. There should be no discord in the
Church. We need to pray for and expect
God’s shepherds to be righteous men leading the flock to prepare for the
(see 1 Peter
5:4) coming of our chief Shepherd. ; “11
for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and
every tongue shall confess to God.”” Romans
14:11 ESV. We have a responsibility as believers to support our
pastors and bring unbelievers (see Matthew 4:19) to Jesus’ Church.
Salvation is the gift of God for all of mankind;
“16 “For God
so loved
the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should
not
perish but have eternal life.” John
3:16 ESV. You can Click on any link in this

Saviour. (1-5) Gracious offers of pardon and peace. (6-13)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading
Isaiah
Chapter 55. God is inviting
whomsoever will (see John
6:27) to share
in the truly good life. It is
our Lord God offering forgiveness
and abundant life (see Isaiah
35:1-2) in the name of the our Messiah Jesus;
“1 2“For
you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills
before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall
clap their hands. 13 Instead of
the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the
myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall
not be cut off.””
Isaiah
55:12-13 English Standard Versions (ESV. We the abundant life and salvation
beginning the minute we accept Jesus; “For his invisible attributes,
namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever
since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are
without excuse.”
Romans
1:20 ESV. We don’t need to get clean, right or ready
(see John 3:16) it is the gift of life everlasting already paid in full
by Jesus;
“I give them eternal life, and they
will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who
has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out
of the Father's hand. I and the Father are
one.”” John

“27 For it is written,
“Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear;
break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.”” Galatians 4:27
Isaiah
Chapter 54, “The increase of the church by the conversion of the
Jews and Gentiles. (1-5) Its certain deliverance. (6-10) Its triumphant state is described. (11-17)” - Matthew Henry
Concise
Dear
Saints,
Praise God Jesus has risen! Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading Isaiah
Chapter 54.
A promise for salvation is made to all mankind
Jew and Gentile (see Genesis
28:14) alike.
It is
the Lord's covenant of peace (see Ezekiel
34:25) for all people.
Those that fear God will have the victory; “17 no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed,
and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”” Isaiah 53:11-12 English Standard Versions (ESV. We are safe and secure, more than victors in the arms of Jesus; “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”” John 10:28-30 ESV. No enemy can succeed against Jesus (see 1 John 5:4) and those who trust in him. This is the eternal covenant of peace; “[God's Everlasting Love] 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.” Romans 8:31-33 ESV.
