The Covenant Forsaken

Today’s Feast May 28, 2014- Jeremiah 22  The Covenant Forsaken clic aquí en español * Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!  “28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28 Jeremiah Chapter 22, “Justice is recommended, and destruction threatened in case of disobedience. (1-9) The captivity of Jehoiakim, and the end of Jeconiah. (10-19) The doom of the royal family. (20-30)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 22.  God tells to the king of Judah that he must rule with justice and righteousness (see Jeremiah 22:1-9) or endure the wrath God for breaking the covenant.  God is angry with the Sons of King Josiah, Shallum and Jehoiakim (see Jeremiah 22:10-19) for practicing oppression and violence.  Concerning Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah (see Jer 22:20-30) he shall have no children to sit on the throne of David.  “30 Thus says the Lord: “Write this man down as childless, a man who shall not succeed in his days, for none of his offspring shall succeed in sitting on the throne of David and ruling again in Judah.” “ Jeremiah 22:30  English Standard Versions (ESV).    We know our God is a loving God (see John 3:16) He made the Way for us to live.  Jesus is the forgiver of sins (see Acts 4:11-12) He paid the whole price for our salvation on the cross at Calvary.  “13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Acts 20:24  ESV.  Let’s keep sharing the good news with the love of God in our hearts (see Matthew 22:37-39) and a smile on our face.  Remember in our covenant with God; the only things we gave up when we accepted Jesus (see 1 Peter 1:17-19) were the things that caused pain and misery. Jerusalem Will Fall

Today’s Feast May 27, 2014- Jeremiah 21 Jerusalem Will Fall clic aquí en español * Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!  “7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7 Jeremiah Chapter 21, “The only way of deliverance is to be surrendering to the Babylonians. (1-10) The wickedness of the king and his household. (11-14)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 21.  The word of God to Jeremiah considering Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to God’s people; (see Jeremiah 21:1-9) stay in you city and die or surrender to Babylon and live.  God is angry with the Israelites (see Jeremiah 21:3-5) for their sin He has sent the Babylonian and the Chaldeans army to sack their cities and kill all who resist.  Yet God has made a way out of His wrath for those who will hear and obey Him (see Jeremiah 21:9) surrender to the Chaldeans and you shall live.  God is awesome for those who love him (see Romans 8:28) and seek to obey Him.   God calls for the decedents of David (see Jeremiah 21:10-15) to get right immediately or perish.  “14 I will punish you according to the fruit of your deeds, declares the Lord; I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it shall devour all that is around her.”“ Jeremiah 21:14  English Standard Versions (ESV).    We are ambassadors for Jesus, we cannot save anyone by ourselves; (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) it is our task to carry the good news to as many people as we can.  Jesus will forgive their sins (see Acts 4:11-12) and grant salvation for any who accept God’s Word.  “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24  ESV.  It is up to you and I to take action in the name of Jesus, to be doers of God’s Word (see Romans 2:13) and not just hearers.  Jesus commissioned us to carry God’s Word (see Matthew 28:16-20) to all the Earth!  Not as accusers but in love like God showed us when He sent Jesus (see John 3:16) to redeem all who will listen and accept Him. Today’s Feast May 25, 2014- Jeremiah 19 The Broken Flask clic aquí en español * Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!  “10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” James 4:10 Jeremiah Chapter 19, “By the type of breaking an earthen vessel, Jeremiah is to predict the destruction of Judah.”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 19.  Judah and Jerusalem’s holiness made them the joy of God’s creation; (see Jeremiah 19:1-9) now their sin makes God’s rebuke and shames them.  God is warning our nations their wicked ways will bring destruction unless (see 2 Chronicles 7:14) we turn to God in Jesus’ name praying for His forgiveness.  God tells Jeremiah to smash a flask in front of Judah and Jerusalem (see Jeremiah 19:10-15) to signify how they will be destroyed.  “15 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, behold, I am bringing upon this city and upon all its towns all the disaster that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their neck, refusing to hear my words.”“ Jeremiah 19:15  English Standard Versions (ESV).    We can’t wait for the world to glorify God they are too busy trying to look righteous (see 2 Timothy 3:4-6) by passing laws and ordinances denying the Glory of God. “[ Hearing and Doing the Word ] Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;” James 1:19  ESV.  It is up to you and I to take action in the name of Jesus, to be doers of God’s Word (see Romans 2:13) and not just hearers.
