Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 30.  God tells Jeremiah to write a letter that describes the trouble His people are in (see Jeremiah 30:1-11) and God will to restore the land to a repentant people who love their LORD.  God never changes we still trust in God to restore the sinners soul free from sin (see John 3:16) when they repent and turn to Jesus.   The Jews are lost in their sins they cannot help themselves (see Jeremiah 30:12-17) God’s grace will save them when they have repented and turned to God.  Not until God’s people understand that without God they are without hope will God reach out (see Jeremiah 30:18-24) and make them whole again!  “23 Behold the storm of the LORD! Wrath has gone forth, a whirling tempest; it will burst upon the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intentions of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this.Jeremiah 30:23-24 English Standard Versions (ESV).  God will not force anyone to love, worship and trust him (see Revelation 3:20 ) Jesus lovingly nocks at our door and waits for us to answer.  “5 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.“  1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV.   As Christians we should love and encourage each other, those who are strong in our walk with Jesus (see 1 Thessalonians 5:11) should encourage others to be stronger.  It is Jesus whom we must imitate (see 3 John 1:11) he has called us with a purpose to good do good works.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 29.  The letter that Jeremiah (see Jeremiah 29:1-7) to all the people, whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile.  Do not let your false prophets and your diviners tickle your ears (see Jeremiah 29:8-19) and you will not be destroyed along with them.  Remember God’s test for true Prophets, (see Jeremiah 28:9) and if what they say doesn’t line up with the Word God has sent us.  Beware if they use one false word to change the meaning of God’s Word; (see John 1:1) Like the “Word was God” vs the “Word was a god”.   If they use any added books or added words (see Galatians 1:8) to change the meaning of Bible God has given us they are not inspired by God.  All those who are prophesying a lie to you in God’s name (see Jeremiah 29:20-32) will be utterly destroyed; “32 therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will punish Shemaiah of Nehelam and his descendants. He shall not have anyone living among this people, and he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, declares the Lord, for he has spoken rebellion against the Lord.’”Jeremiah 29:32 English Standard Versions (ESV).  God has a plan for those who claim they are inspired by the Holy Spirit (see Mark 9:42 ) and cause people to sin when they speak from their own imagination.  “11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.1 Chronicles 29:11 ESV.   Let us with our whole being trust and give all Glory to God because (see Romans 8:38-39) nothing in this world separate us from Jesus.  God’s Word brings repentance and salvation (see John 1:1-5) Jesus is referred to as the Word of God.  The whole bible is inspired by God (see 2 Timothy 3:16) it is God’s letter to and for us.

22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight. Proverbs 12:22

Jeremiah Chapter 28; A false prophet opposes Jeremiah. (1-9) The false prophet warned of his approaching death. (10-17)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 28.  Hananiah the false prophet tickles the ears og God’s people with great lies with (see Jeremiah 28:1-9) false words from his own mind.  God has told us the penalty for lying is (see Revelation 21:8) no liar will enter the kingdom of God.  In the ninth verse we see God’s test for true Prophets, (see Jeremiah 28:9) people who are being fooled by false prophets should read this verse.  Because HannahHananiah prophesized falsely in God's name (see Jeremiah 27:19-22) God’s prophet Jeremiah foretold his death;16 Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”
17 In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died." Jeremiah 27:16-17 English Standard Versions (ESV).  God hates those who lie and don’t repent (see Revelation 21:8 ) even if they are making people feel good.  “1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.Proverbs 15:18 ESV.   We must truly understand the power of words (see Genesis 1) And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God’s Word brings repentance and salvation (see John 1:1-5) Jesus is referred to as the Word of God.  We must guard our words for they will (see Matthew 12:36-37) justify, and condemn us.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 26.  God tells Jeremiah to prepare a warning to Judah (see Jeremiah 27:1-11) and the surrounding nations to prepare to serve Nebuchadnezzar.  He persuades the king of Judah to surrender, to obey God (see Jeremiah 27:12-18) it is wiser to serve a tyrant than to disobey God.  It is also wiser to surrender ones soul to Jesus (see Mark 8:36) than to lose it in pursuit of the things the world offers.  Jeremiah reminds them that everything that is lost (see Jeremiah 27:19-22) will be returned in God’s good will and timing;21 thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem: 22 They shall be carried to Babylon and remain there until the day when I visit them, declares the Lord. Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.”" Jeremiah 27:21-22 English Standard Versions (ESV).  There is nothing in the world that compares to God’s love (see James 1:1-9) and serving others in the name of Jesus. “28  so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.Hebrews 9:28 ESV.   If anyone puts you down because of you faith in Jesus (see 1 Peter 4:12-19) you have good reason to rejoice.  Our Lord would never ask more from us than we can do (see Matthew 11:29-30) because His yoke is easy.

2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”Revelation 21: 2-4  ESV.
