Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 50; “The ruin of Babylon. (1-3, 8-16,21-32,35-46;) The redemption of God's people. (4-7,17-20,33,34)
Verses 1-7 The king of Babylon was kind to Jeremiah, yet the prophet must foretell the ruin of that kingdom… Their present case is lamented as very sad. The sins of professing Christians never will excuse those who rejoice in destroying them.
Verses 8-20 The desolation that shall be brought upon Babylon is set forth in a variety of expressions…  Deliverances out of trouble are comforts indeed, when fruits of the forgiveness of sin.
Verses 21-32 The forces are mustered and empowered to destroy Babylon...  Babylon's pride must be her ruin; she has been proud against the Holy One of Israel; who can keep those up whom God will throw down?
Verses 33-46 It is Israel's comfort in distress, that, though they are weak, their Redeemer is strong… In the judgments denounced against prosperous Babylon, and the mercies promised to afflicted Israel, we learn to choose to suffer affliction with the people of God, rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.”  - Matthew Henry Concise.
In this chapter we learn that sometimes God uses His People to pronounce judgment, (see Jeremiah 50:21-23) they may be used in the battle against sin. The question that begs to be answered is; (see Ephesians 6:10-11) are we prepared to serve God?  Do we know who (see Ephesians 6:12) the enemy is?  Don’t fret Jesus knows what we are able to handle, He will be with us; “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV.  Jesus is with us in every circumstance; Keep your mind and eyes on Jesus (see Hebrews 13:5) He will never leave or forsake us.

Is Jesus calling you?  Will you answer His call?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 49; ‘Prophecies relative to the Ammonites. (1-6) The Edomites. (7-22) The Syrians. (23-27) The Kedarenes. (28-33) The Elamites. (34-39)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
In this chapter God’s righteousness is on display as He judges the nations beginning with (see Jeremiah 49:1-6) the Ammonites.  God judges Edom an enemy of Israel (see Jeremiah 49:7-22) and it becomes a horror.   God’s Judgment on Damascus (see Jeremiah 49:23 27) the stronghold of Ben-hadad waxes weak.  God uses Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon (see Jeremiah 49:28-33) to make the people of Kedar aware of their sins against God.  The king and officials of Elam, suffer (see Jeremiah 49:34-39) God’s fierce anger. “37 I will terrify Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, my fierce anger, declares the Lord.  I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them, 38 and I will set my throne in Elam and destroy their king and officials, declares the Lord.Jeremiah 49:37-38 English Standard Version (ESV).  Those that attack God’s law or His People (see Genesis 12:3) bring destruction upon themselves. “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.Isaiah 40:31 ESV.  The fear of God is the beginning of (see Proverbs 1:7) wisdom.  God protects those who love (see Job 8:20) His righteousness.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 48; “Prophecies against Moab for pride and security. (1-13) For carnal confidence and contempt of God. (14-47)- Matthew Henry Concise.
God sends the Chaldeans to destroy the Moabites (see Jeremiah 48:1-13) because they trust in their work and persist in iniquity.  We have been saved by the grace of God; (see 1 Corinthians 15:58) therefore we should continue sincere in our work for the glory of God.  The destruction of Moab is prophesied (see Jeremiah 48:14-47) to make the people aware of their sins against God.  The captive Gentiles, that live under the yoke of sin, shall be brought back by the grace of God, and they will be truly free; “46 Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh are undone, for your sons have been taken captive, and your daughters into captivity. 47 Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the latter days, declares the Lord.” Thus far is the judgment on Moab.Jeremiah 48:46-47 English Standard Version (ESV).  Once again we see that God’s law (see 1 John 4:7-8) is made perfect in love for all people. “7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.Psalm 121:7-8 ESV.  God has sent Jesus to pay the whole price for our sin (see Romans 8:1-2) leaving us free to serve Him without fear of Judgment.

Is Jesus calling you today?  Are you ready to be free from your sins?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.1 John 4:16-18 ESV.

Love Must Be Sincere

Love Must Be Sincere

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three year.  Gods Not Dead!

“9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” Romans 12:9

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 47; “The calamities of the Philistines.
- The Philistines had always been enemies to Israel; but the Chaldean army shall overflow their land like a deluge. Those whom God will spoil, must be spoiled. For when the Lord intends to destroy the wicked, he will cut off every helper. So deplorable are the desolations of war, that the blessings of peace are most desirable. But we must submit to His appointments who ordains all in perfect wisdom and justice.”- Matthew Henry Concise.
Sometimes the Judgment (see Jeremiah 47:1-7) calls for punishment that seems too harsh to people.  Remember our God is the righteous judge (see Psalm 7:10-12) God alone knows the hearts and minds people. We cannot know the mind of God (see Mark 13:11) however, the Holy Spirit and His Word will guide us to understand his will for us.  Our Lord knows what is good for His people and God’s timing and judgment is perfect; “Ah, sword of the Lord! How long till you are quiet? Put yourself into your scabbard; rest and be still!  How can it be quiet when the Lord has given it a charge? Against Ashkelon and against the seashore he has appointed it.”Jeremiah 47:6-7  English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s law is made perfect in love for all creation (see 1 John 4:7-8) if we do not know love we do not know Jesus.  “16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. No matter what a saint might do, (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) if it’s not done in love it is not from Jesus.
