The Lord Has Drawn His Sword

Today’s Feast
Aug. 4, 2014-Ezekiel 21
The Lord Has Drawn His Sword

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 21; “The ruin of Judah under the emblem of a sharp sword. (1-17) The approach of the king of Babylon described. (18-27) The destruction of the Ammonites. (28-32)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
In the next paragraph I will give a short explanation of what I see in Ezekiel 21.  I would love to hear from you, tell me what God puts on your heart, in an email or comment.  My email address is; mailto:mike@admenu.com
The Word of the Lord came to Ezekiel; (see Ezekiel 21:1-17) The Lord will punish Jerusalem and Israel; God I will satisfy His fury.   God will use the wicked King of Babylon (see Ezekiel 21:18-27) to take down the King of Israel and destroy Jerusalem.  In Ezekiel’s prophesy about the Ammonites (see Ezekiel 21:28-32) the Lord said they would be punished.  The Ammonites will suffer God’s wrath; “31 And I will pour out my indignation upon you; I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of brutish men, skillful to destroy. 32 You shall be fuel for the fire. Your blood shall be in the midst of the land. You shall be no more remembered, for I the LORD have spoken."Ezekiel 21:31-32  English Standard Version (ESV).  It is time for Christians everywhere to examine their hearts (see Luke 8:14) are you are so eager for riches and pleasures that you will never produce anything to glorify God.  Are we ready to call out to God, USE ME! ““Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. 1 Samuel 16:7 ESV. Do you understand (see John 8:58) who Jesus is?  Jesus has called you, (see Matthew 16:24) are you following Him?   If you are following Jesus (see   James 2:20) your faith will produce good works.     In every circumstance remember God is not willing (see 2 Peter 3:9) that any persons should die in their sins. Those who deny Jesus should get ready; (see Hebrews 4:12) because God’s sword will sort you out.
Is Jesus calling?  Are you ready to serve?   Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 ESV.

Rebels and Idolaters

Rebels and Idolaters

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.  Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.” Colossians 3:5-6

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 20; “The elders of Israel are reminded of the idolatry in Egypt. (1-9) In the wilderness. (10-26) In Canaan.(27-32) God promises to pardon and restore them. (33-44) Prophecy against Jerusalem. (45-49)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
Ezekiel warns the elders in Israel; (see Ezekiel 20:1-9) God will justly punish those who willfully go on in their sin.   Ezekiel reminds them (see Ezekiel 20:10-26) of their history of sin and idolatry in the wilderness.  How their ancestors also rejected God, His law and condoned sin (see Ezekiel 20:27-32) how do they think they will escape God’s judgment.   If they continue to practice sin and ignore the power of Gods grace (see Ezekiel 20:33-44) they will see the hateful nature of sin and Gods wrath. While Judah and Jerusalem had a large population (see Ezekiel 20:45-49) they remained small in the fruit of the spirit. Those who deny Gods Word will suffer Gods wrath; “48 All flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it; it shall not be quenched." 49 Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD! They are saying of me, 'Is he not a maker of parables?'" Ezekiel 19:13-14 English Standard Version (ESV).  We are to separate ourselves from the sin and idolatry of this world (see 1 John 2:15-17) while we carry the Word of God and the love of Jesus to them.  We must not be swayed by what we see; “7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 ESV. What does God see (see Romans 3:10-23) when he looks at the heart of an unrepentant idolaterWhat will God see when he looks on the heart of the repentant person (see Romans 10:9-10) who accepts Jesus?   It is time for each of us (see   Deuteronomy 30:19) to choose sides.
Can you hear Jesus calling?  Are you ready to join God’s army?   Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Ephesians 6:13-14 ESV.
