“13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ”  Philippians 4:13  New King James Version (NKJV)

An overview; “This epistle is a discourse upon the principles of Christianity, in doctrine and practice. The design appears to be, to refute and guard against erroneous and unholy tenets, principles, and practices, especially such as would lower the Godhead of Christ, and the reality and power of his sufferings and death, as an atoning sacrifice; and against the assertion that believers being saved by grace, are not required to obey the commandments. This epistle also stirs up all who profess to know God, to have communion with him, and to believe in him, and that they walk in holiness, not in sin, showing that a mere outward profession is nothing, without the evidence of a holy life and conduct. It also helps forward and excites real Christians to communion with God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to constancy in the true faith, and to purity of life.“ - Matthew Henry Concise
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of 1 John Chapter 1 & 2; “The apostle prefaces his epistle to believers in general, with evident testimonies to Christ, for promoting their happiness and joy. (1-4) The necessity of a life of holiness, in order to communion with God, is shown. (5-10)
Chapter 2 The apostle directs to the atonement of Christ for help against sinful infirmities. (1-2) The effects of saving knowledge in producing obedience, and love to the brethren. (3-11) Christians addressed as little children, young men, and fathers. (12-14) All are cautioned against the love of this world, and against errors. (15-23) They are encouraged to stand fast in faith and holiness. (24-29)- Matthew Henry Concise
In chapter 1 The apostle opens in the beginning; (see 1 John 1:1-4) by honoring Jesus the Word of life.  He says the believers should be  (see 1 John 1:5-10) walking and working in the light remembering where we came from; “10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:10 New King James Version (NKJV).   In chapter 2 The apostle reminds us to avoid sin; (see 1 john 2:1-2) and if we do sin Jesus is still our advocate.  We believers should keep His commandments (see 1 John 2:3-11) and love one another.  Our sins are forgiven in Jesus name's sake (see 1 John 2:12-14) and He is our savior having paid for all of our sins.   Our sins are forgiven in Jesus name's sake (see 1 John 2:12-14) and He is our savior having paid for all of our sins. “28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.1 John 2:28-29  NKJV.  These verses remind us that if we want to see heaven and be with Jesus (see John 3:6-8) we must be born again.  8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:8 NKJV.  Examine you heart saint (see Romans 6:23) all we give up when we accept Jesus is the sin which hurts and kills us.  When we put Jesus at the center of our heart we will (see Ephesians 5:8) walk in the light.
Do you want to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are!   Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Jonah Chapter 4; “Jonah repines at God's mercy to Nineveh, and is reproved. (1-4) He is taught by the withering of a gourd, that he did wrong. (5-11) - Matthew Henry Concise
Jonah doesn’t like the Ninnies and is upset that God showed them His mercy; (see Jonah 4:1-4) and the Lord replied to him asking if his anger is a good thing.  Jonah went out of the city and built a hut and sat under it (see Jonah 4:5-11) God chided him about the shade he enjoyed in God’s mercy; “10 But the Lord said, "You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. 11 And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left--and much livestock?"Jonah 4:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV).  It amazes me when people think that they know God’s mind; (see Job 38:4) saying things like; “ If God loves us how come… ?”  What people need to do is turn to God in every circumstance (see Proverbs 3:5 ) and trust His righteousness;  12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51:12 NKJV.  When you’re hurting and the world is all messed up look up to Jesus (see Mark 2:17) realize this; Jesus didn’t come to save those who have it right.   God loves those who know they are messed up so much  that they need His mercy; (see John 3:16) so He sent His only son to make whosoever calls on Him right.
Do you want to experience God’s mercy?  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything; (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door and He wants you to answer now!   Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Jonah Chapter 3; “Jonah sent again to Nineveh, preaches there. (1-4) Nineveh is spared upon the repentance of the inhabitants. (5-10) - Matthew Henry Concise
God calls on Jonah to go into Nineveh; (see Jonah 3:1-4) throughout the city he carries God’s Word saying that Nineveh shall be overthrown in 40 days.  The people of Nineveh heard and believed God; they repented and prayed (see Jonah 3:5-10) then God relented and turned from his fierce anger; “10 When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.Jonah 3:10 English Standard Versions (ESV).  What if God sent a prophet in to your town saying, 40 days and you all die; (see Exodus 19:5) would you know what to do?  God’s word tells us what to do; 14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV.  Jesus said that the men of Nineveh (see Matthew 12:41) will rise up and Judge us if we don’t repent and accept God’s love.   No matter how many laws we change or how much we deny God’s Word; (see Romans 1:18-31) if we continue in sin we will die in sin.  Because God’s Word (see Psalm 19:9) is righteous and true.  When we are carrying the God’s Word to those who are living in sin; (see Mark 16:15-16) that’s when we are doing God’s will!
