Dear
Saints,
“Malachi was the last of
the prophets, and is supposed to have prophesied B.C. 420. He reproves the
priests and the people for the evil practices into which they had fallen, and
invites them to repentance and reformation, with promises of the blessings to
be bestowed at the coming of the Messiah. And now that prophecy was to cease,
he speaks clearly of the Messiah, as nigh at hand, and directs the people of
God to keep in rememberance the law of Moses, while they were in expectation
of the gospel of Christ.
The ingratitude of Israel. (1-5) They
are careless in God's institutions. (6-14)” - Matthew Henry Concise
God’s word came through
Malachi; (see Malachi
1:1-5) “May the Lord be great
beyond the borders of Israel.” But if I’m a father, where is my honor? Or if I’m a master, where is my respect? (see Malachi
1:6-14) Should I accept
inferior offerings from your hand; “14 "But cursed be the deceiver Who
has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to the Lord what is
blemished-- For I am a great King," Says the Lord of hosts, "And My
name is to be feared among the nations.” Malachi 1:14 - NKJV. The fear of
God; (see Psalm 111:10) is where wisdom begins; “46 And Mary said: "My soul
magnifies the Lord, 47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. 48 For He
has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all
generations will call me blessed. 49 For He who is mighty has done great
things for me, And holy is His name.” Luke
1:46-49 NKJV. God loves you and I so much; (see
John 3:16) He sent His only begotten son, Jesus to redeem us. The angels heralded Jesus birth; (see
Luke 2:11) as the coming redeemer of all men. Every
time we say Merry Christmas, we honor the Lord Jesus Christ, because Jesus is
the reason for this season.
Is Jesus calling to you
today? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes;
today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave,
change or quit anything (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you
to come just as you are, surrendering all! Will you answer Him today?

The Coming Day of the Lord

“9 then the Lord knows how to deliver
the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for
the day of judgment," - 2 Peter 2:9 - New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Zechariah Chapter 14;
“The sufferings of Jerusalem. (1-7) Encouraging
prospects, and the destruction of her enemies. (8-15)The
holiness of the latter days. (16-21)” - Matthew Henry Concise
A day is coming that belongs to the Lord; (see Zechariah 14:1-7 there will be neither day nor night, but Jesus will provide
the light. On that day, running water
will flow out; in two directions; (see Zechariah 14:8-15) on that day, the Lord will fall upon the enemy of
His people. All who are left of all the nations, (see Zechariah
14:16-21) will keep the feasts of the Lord; “21 Yes, every
pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Everyone
who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there
shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts. ” Zechariah 14:21 - NKJV. Jesus will
redeem His godly followers; (see 2 Peter 2:9) while the unjust will reap everlasting punishment. God sent Jesus through a virgin to save all
people; “30 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be
afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will
conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord
God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over
the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."” Luke 1:26-28 NKJV. Jesus the only son of God (see Luke 1:69) is that son of David.
His name is Jesus and He came from God the Father to redeem us; (see
Psalms 18:2.html) Christ’s birth is what we are celebrating when we say
“Merry Christmas, Peace on Earth, good will toward men, and A Savior is
Born.” The day of the Lord is coming so get ready,
grow in God’s grace (see
2 Peter 3:18) Jesus is coming
again to shine God’s light on your deeds.
Do you really want eternal life? Do you hear Jesus knocking at
your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is
yes; today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to
leave, change or quit anything, (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this very minute. He wants
you to come just as you are, surrendering all! Will you answer Him

We Celebrate Jesus

and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be
their God." - Ezekiel 11:20 - New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Zechariah Chapter 13;
“The Fountain for the remission of sins, The conviction of the false
prophets. (1-6) The
death of Christ, and the saving of a remnant of the people. (7-9)” - Matthew Henry Concise
The house of David is to be cleaned them from sin and
uncleanness; (see Zechariah 13:1-6) the false prophets will admit they are not God’s prophets. This is a prophesy about Christ’s sufferings;
(see Zechariah 13:7-9) and those who will accept Him; “9 I will
bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer
them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The Lord is my
God.' "” Zechariah 13:9 - NKJV. We shouldn’t
be surprised; (see Psalm 24:1) that the old testament declares the coming Messiah. And the New Testament confirms Him; “26 Now in the
sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named
Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was
Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 And
having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the
Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!"” Luke 1:26-28 NKJV. Jesus was to be born in the flesh; (see
Psalm 132:11) just as the Old Testament attests. God born in the flesh sent to redeem us; (see
Luke 2:11) Christ’s birth is what those who love Jesus are celebrating
when we say “Merry Christmas, Peace on Earth and A Savior is Born.”
