Doers Of The Law

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 14; ‘The battle of the kings, Lot is taken prisoner. (1-12) Abram rescues Lot. (13-16) Melchizedek blesses Abram. (17-20) Abram restores the spoil. (21-24)” - Matthew Henry Concise Here we see Abram keeps his vow to God; “22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’— 24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”” Genesis 14:22-24 NKJV. You and I should strive to live godly lives! “5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”  Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV. There is nothing in this world that can (see Romans 8:39)  separate us from the Lord Jesus Christ!  “13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified.” Romans 2:13 NKJV Will you accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. Today’s Feast Jan 6, 2015- Genesis 13 Just Do it, in Jesus Name! clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  “13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" -  1 Peter 1:13  - New King James Version (NKJV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 13; “Abram returns out of Egypt with great riches. (1-4) Strife between the herdsmen of Abram and Lot. Abram gives Lot his choice of the country. (5-9) Lot chooses to dwell at Sodom. (10-13) God renews his promise to Abram, who removes to Hebron. (14-18)” - Matthew Henry Concise When we receive God’s grace like Abram, we should praise him with humble praises and thanksgiving. “18 Then Abram moved his tent, and went and dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built an altar there to the Lord.” Genesis 13:18 NKJV. When we accept Jesus as our savior it is counted to us for righteousness! “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”  Isaiah 1:18 ESV. That’s it The first thing first salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ!  “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”Colossians 3:17 ESV Can you hear Jesus calling to you today?  Are you ready to answer God’s call?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all!  Will you answer Him today? Little White Lie?

Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow." -  Isaiah 1:16-17  - New King James Version (NKJV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 12; God calls Abram, and blesses him with a promise of Christ. (1-3) Abram departs from Haran. (4,5) He journeys through Canaan, and worships God in that land. (6-9) Abram is driven by a famine into Egypt, He feigns his wife to be his sister. (10-20)” - Matthew Henry Concise As we read the Feast we see a little white lie, how bad is a little lie? “11 And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. 12 Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. 13 Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I may live because of you.”” Genesis 12:11–13 NKJV. That’s a really small lie, just don’t tell them we are married say you are my sister. How could a one word lie “sister” cause any problems; “17 But the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. 18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? “Genesis 12:17-18 NKJV. The truth is cancer is still cancer no matter what you call it! God will not abide with sin, Sin is Sin whether murder or “White” lie! “4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5 NKJV Will you accept Jesus into your heart?
