Esau Sells His Birthright!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years1.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:16 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 25; "Abraham's family by Keturah, His death and burial. (1-10) God blesses Isaac The descendants of Ishmael. (11-18) The birth of Esau and Jacob. (19-26) The different characters of Esau and Jacob. (27,28) Esau despises and sells his birth-right. (29-34) - Matthew Henry Concise

Today’s Feast is a perfect picture of how man can through away their blessings from God; 29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom.
31 But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”
32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”
33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”
So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25:29–34 NKJV.We see Esau walking away sure that he traded what was his for something (Bread and Soup) he thought more important at the time. Beside surely his father would know he was tricked and would not withhold his blessing. Sometimes even Christians feel like it is only words when they sin. I tell you Christian Saints every sin is another lash on our Lord and Master Jesus. No matter how your feeling you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and when you sin your grieving God. We need to learn how to control the most unruly part of the body, our tongue. “but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,” John 11:25 ESV
I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast please feel free To write mlitew8@gmail.com. I’m looking forward to your input. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Do you hear him, Jesus is calling, accept Jesus into your heart? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart, you need fellowship and so do we. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. Know this if you sinned the sin that can’t be forgiven, you won’t hear Jesus calling.

True Faith Is Worth Sharing!

True Faith Is Worth Sharing!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years1.

“16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”  Matthew 5:16 New King James Version (NKJV).
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 24; “Abraham's care for Isaac's marriage. (1-9) The journey of Abraham's servant to Mesopotamia, His meeting with Rebekah. (10-28) Rebekah and her relatives consent to her marriage. (29-53) The happy meeting and marriage of Isaac and rebekah. (54-67) - Matthew Henry Concise
Today’s Feast in Genesis 24 we see a perfect picture of faith; “50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing comes from the Lord; we cannot speak to you either bad or good. 51 Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the Lord has spoken.”Genesis 24:50 NKJV. This is the kind of Faith we need to have when we accept Jesus and continue on to obey the great commission; ”19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV. The only way that we can help in healing the condition of our land is to (see 2 Chronicles 7:14) call on God in Jesus name.  So let’s take the light into all the earth and prayerfully share Jesus with whoever (see John 3:16) will accept God’s gift of salvation.
“14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15 NKJV.
.Sinner oh Sinner, Softly and sweetly Jesus is calling; accept Jesus into your heart? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart, you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we accept Jesus we become part of his Church; Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm.

Are You Sharing The Life?

Today’s Feast

Are You Sharing The Life?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years1.

“20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”  Revelation 3:20 New King James Version (NKJV).
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 23; The death of Sarah, Abraham applies for a burying-place. (1-13) Sarah's burying-place. (14-20) - Matthew Henry Concise
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Genesis 23. God called Sarah home at one hundred twenty three years of age. Many people would just say Sarah died, but she had a full life at a hundred and twenty three years old. This takes us back to issue number one. For any new Saint’s issue number one is Salvation free through the sacrifice of Jesus. He paid the full price for our Salvation when he died on the cross. He rose again overcoming death for all that believe, turn from their sin and ask Jesus to come in as Lord of their life. That brings us to face several things. We were created in God’s image that means we are eternal beings. Sin entered through one man Adam.  Sin was paid for by one man the only begotten son of God, Jesus.  God’s grace and easy way to remember what that means is; “Gods Riches At Christ’s Expense.” Now we get the whole picture the death that God gives as a blessing to take us out of a world of sin to abide in his presence for eternity. Well then what is so bad about death? Well do any that die ignoring God’s precious gift still get eternal life. The answer is a resounding “YES”! However it won’t be with God. They will live a tortured eternal life separated from the father! Now this is how our Lord Jesus tells it; “22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.Luke 16:22-26 NKJV.
So then we see that we must accept God’s gift of eternal life now. If we just obey God, turn from sin and accept his gift. God will provide a new home and body for us with him for eternity. If we reject the gift of eternal life with God, we will live eternally in misery and torture, eternally thirsty. I would think that this knowledge would make every one of us want to share Jesus with every soul we meet it is the great commission;” 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV. Let’s go now sharing Jesus and the Grace of God and the gift of Jesus. You may be feeling very uncomfortable Saint. You may get ridiculed but what is that compared to eternal separation from God.
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”John 10:7, 9-10 NKJV.
Is Jesus calling to you today?  Are you ready to answer God’s call?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all!  Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm.

If our Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

God Bless You,
Brother Mike
