Saints,
As
we continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis
Chapter
50;
“The
mourning for Jacob.
(1-6)
His
funeral.
(7-14)
Joseph's
brethren crave his pardon, He comforts them.
(15-21)
Joseph's direction concerning his bones, His death.
(22-26)“

Here
in Genesis
50,
we
see Israel (Jacob) laid
to rest with a large procession (see
Genesis
50:12-13)
to the resting place of his family.
The
lies and treachery of the brothers
(see
Genesis
50:15 )
dealing
with Joseph haunt the brothers once more.
Joseph
who has served God all of his life knows that God works everything
out to benefit those who love & serve God; ”19
Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place
of God? 20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God
meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day,
to save many people alive.”
Genesis
50:19-20

We
see Joseph forgiving
(see
Genesis
50:22)
his brothers for their treachery!
This
behavior by Joseph would serve to remind you and I of how many
times Jesus told us to forgive our brothers; “21
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my
brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
22 Jesus
said to him, “I
do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times
seven.”
John 14:1-3

We
know that God's
good purposes work
to benefit (see
Romans
8:28)
those that love Jesus and are called according to His purposes.

Saints,
As
we continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis
Chapter
49;
“Jacob
calls his sons to bless them. (1,2) Reuben, Simeon, Levi. (3-7)
Judah. (8-12)
Zebulun, Issachar, Dan.(13-18)
Gad, Asher, Naphtali. (19-21)
Joseph and Benjamin. (22-27)
Jacob's charge respecting his burial, His death. (28-33)
Verses
1-2
All Jacob's sons were living. ...the tribes which descended from
the sons of Jacob, and which may be traced in their histories.
Verses
3-7
Reuben was the first-born; but by gross sin, he forfeited the
birthright. ...The sentence as it respects Levi was turned into a
blessing. This tribe performed an acceptable service in their zeal
against the worshippers of the golden calf, (Exodus
32)
. Being set apart to God as priests, they were in that character
scattered through the nation of Israel.

Judah's name signifies praise. God was praised for him, chap.

The salvation he waited for was Christ, the promised Seed;... (

Do
you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal
being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with
God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear
God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus
Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing
to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and
life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting
Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship
just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of
believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a
Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray
with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints
that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we
