Today’s FeastFeb 16, 2015 – Matthew 5Is Love a Law?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“19
'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.' "“
Matthew
19:19
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in the
New Testament
Chapter
5;
“Christ's
sermon on the mount. (1-2)
Who
are blessed.
(3-12)
Exhortations
and warnings.
(13-16)
Christ
came to confirm the law.
(17-20)
The
sixth commandment. (21-26)
The
seventh commandment. (27-32)
The
third commandment.
(33-37)
The
law of retaliation.
(38-42)
The
law of love explained. (43-48)
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
In
this Feast we see God's law
of love;
“43
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your
neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your
enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45
that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His
sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just
and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what
reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47
And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than
others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you
shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
– Matthew
5:43-48
–
NKJV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again
tomorrow.
You
are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your

God's Word Is Our Bread!
Today’s FeastFeb 16, 2015 – Matthew 4God's Word Is Our Bread!
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“4
Jesus replied, “It’s written, People won’t live only by
bread, but by every word spoken by God.”“
Matthew
4-4
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Matthew
Chapter
4;
“The
temptation of Christ.
(1-11)
The opening of Christ's ministry in Galilee. (12-17)
Call of Simon and others. (18-22)
Jesus teaches and works miracles. (23-25)”
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
In
this Feast we see (Matthew
4:1)
Jesus tempted by the devil himself. We also see four
fishermen called as disciples; “18
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon
called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea;
for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me,
and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left
their nets and followed Him.
21
Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of
Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their
father, mending their nets. He called them, 22 and immediately
they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.”
– Matthew
4:18-22
–
NKJV. Now
Jesus has called us; will we drop our worldly endeavors to follow
Him?
