Today’s Feast

Feb 21, 2015 – Matthew 9

Jesus Forgives & Heals!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Matthew 9:13 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew Chapter 9; Jesus returns to Capernaum, and heals a paralytic. (1-8) Matthew called. (9) Matthew, or Levi's feast. (10-13) Objections of John's disciples. (14-17) Christ raises the daughter of Jairus, He heals the issue of blood. (18-26) He heals two blind men. (27-31) Christ casts out a dumb spirit. (32-34) He sends forth the apostles. (35-38)- Matthew Henry Concise.

Continueing in Matthew Chapter 9, In this Scripture is where we see Jesus challenging those who called themselves believers; “1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. 2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." 3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!" 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." 7 And he arose and departed to his house. 8 Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.Matthew 9:1-8 NKJV. Now I see, Jesus has power over all things. Once again we see how important it is to focus on our relationship as we Feast on God’s Word. Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, forgiveness of sin. Life more abundantly everlasting goodness. So now we can go forward, walking humbly, pronouncing Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We are faithfully feasting on God’s Word; “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 ESV.

If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Faith Rewarded!

Today’s Feast

Feb 20, 2015 – Matthew 8

Faith Rewarded!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew Chapter 8; Multitudes follow Christ. (1) He heals a leper. (2-4) A centurion's servant healed. (5-13) Cure of Peter's wife's mother. (14-17) The scribe's zealous proposal. (18-22) Christ in a storm. (23-27) He heals two possessed with devils.(2-4) (28-34)- Matthew Henry Concise.

Continueing in Matthew Chapter 8, we see Jesus acting on the faith of those who believe; “13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.Matthew 8:13 NKJV. Have you considered where this kind of faith comes from? “17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.Romans 10:17NKJV. Once again we see how important it is to focus on our relationship as we Feast on God’s Word. Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God. So now we can go forward, walking humbly, pronouncing Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We are faithfully feasting on God’s Word; “19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV.

I’m looking forward to your input. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added / changed on the prayer list please write mike@admenu.com . If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
