Today's Feast
The
Proof Jesus is God!
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“32
I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.””
Luke
5:32,
English
Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast reading Luke, Chapter
5;
“The
miraculous draught of fishes, Peter, James, and John called.
(1-11)
A leper cleansed. (12-16)
A paralytic cured. (17-26)
Levi called, Christ's answer to the Pharisees. (27-39)."
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
This
is where we see further proof that Jesus is the only begotten son
of God. Proof that Jesus the Christ is God. “17
On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers
of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of
Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord
was with him to heal. 18 And behold, some men were bringing on a
bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in
and lay him before Jesus, 19 but finding no way to bring him in,
because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down
with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus. 20 And
when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven
you.””
Luke
5:17-20,
ESV. Did you notice that immediately after this the Pharisees
confirmed that Jesus had to be God. Our God is awesome and great,
we praise Him. Here
is the confirmation; “21
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who
is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God
alone?” 22 When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered
them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier,
to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise and
walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has
authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the man who was
paralyzed—“I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.””
Luke
5:21-24
ESV. Then it is true that our faith comes from hearing the Word of
God. We are thankful for our salvation, His love, and all He has
done for us. “33
Blessed
is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen
as his heritage!”
Psalm
33:12,
ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is
salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.
I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord
Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Our
salvation depends completely on God! Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. We
are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for
our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get
every Saint; “36
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36,
ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not
wait while you try to change anything.;

“8
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the
Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the
Lord's.”
Romans
14:8,
English
Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast reading Luke, Chapter
4;
“The
temptation of Christ. (1-13)
Christ in the synagogue of Nazareth. (14-30)
He casts out an unclean spirit and heals the sick. (31-44)"
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
We
see our Lord and savior, Jesus teaching in the synagogue. “16
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the
Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he
stood up to read. 17 The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed
to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: 18
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to
release the oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's
favor." 20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the
attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were
fastened on him, 21 and he began by saying to them, "Today
this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."”
Luke-4:16-21,
ESV. Jesus himself was telling theologians in the synagogue that
He, Jesus was fulfilling the prophesy of Isaiah in the Old
Testament. Has God changed in any way? I think not, Jesus
delivered us from slavery and death in sin. Our God is awesome and
great, we praise Him. He was setting an example of what we need
to pray for in his name. He set’s the apostles up for an example
to us; “18
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my
church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I
will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you
bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he strictly charged
the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.”
Matthew
16:18-20,
ESV. We are thankful for our salvation, His love and all He has
done for us. Keep in mind Saints we are soldiers in the war for
righteousness, truth, life and love. Every time we pray in Jesus
name or share his love to those lost in sin, that's
how we
are storming the gates of hell. “Righteousness
exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Proverbs
14:34,
ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is
salvation through the blood
