There Is No God?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Joshua, Chapter 6; “The siege of Jericho. (1-5) The city is compassed. (6-16) Jericho is taken, Rahab and her family are saved. (17-27)” - Matthew Henry Concise. The populace of Jericho were foolish, their hearts hardened to their destruction; thus is the case of all them who are against the God . “2 And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor.” Joshua 6:2, ESV. Our God has declared all who deny him are fools; “1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.” Psalm 14:1, ESV. It's simple, they deny God because they love sin; “19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.” John 3:19, ESV. Now God doesn't want anyone to die in their sin. So we need to let them know Jesus loves and died for them; “9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, ESV. Then if they still resist the light we need to move on; because there are many who will accept Jesus and repent: “11 And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them.”” Mark 6:11, ESV. There are many who are ready to hear the Word; so let’s keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all! (10-12) The Captain of the Lord's host appears to Joshua. (13-15)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Joshua love God and kept the Lord's law, today we see the Israelites observe the first Passover in Canaan. “10 While the people of Israel were encamped at Gilgal, they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening on the plains of Jericho. 11 And the day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain. 12 And the manna ceased the day after they ate of the produce of the land. And there was no longer manna for the people of Israel, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5:10-12, ESV. There was no further need for the miracle of manna as they had entered into the promised land. “35 The people of Israel ate the manna forty years, till they came to a habitable land. They ate the manna till they came to the border of the land of Canaan.” Exodus 16:35, ESV. Just as it was for Joshua so it is with us; God still provides for our needs, all we have to do is trust Jesus; “25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” Matthew 6:25, ESV. There is. more to our lives than what we partake of at the dinner table. While we need to be nourished physically, we must feed our spiritual self. God's Holy Word is our manna from heaven; “4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”” Matthew 4:4, ESV. The Words that we partake of as we feast in God's Word will serve to sustain our faith; “17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.“ Romans 10:17, ESV. Read God's Word with us everyday and let’s keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. If your ready for the good life, Join in our salvation march! Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen!“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
