Do We Carry His Light?

Today’s Feast

Oct. 24, 2015 – John 5

Do We Carry His Light?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." Proverbs 9:10, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in John Chapter 5; “The cure at the pool of Bethesda. (1-9) The Jews' displeasure. (10-16) Christ reproves the Jews. (17-23) Christ's discourse. John 5:24-47” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Who is this Jesus that we should worship him? He said it himself he is worthy of our praise, because he is equal with God. “18 This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.John 5:18, ESV. We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life. This is why he alone could pay for the sins of all mankind. When you look at any sinner remember God is not willing that any should perish. Remember we were saved not because of anything we did for we were all dead in sin. Now that we have salvation we don’t need to point out peoples sin, rather we point out the love of God. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. 22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.John 5:21-24, ESV. Just as God loves us and delivers us from slavery in sin to freedom in Christ Jesus, we are to carry his message to the world. We know how much God loves every single person, no matter what their station in life, in the world. 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”John 3:16-21, ESV. We carry the light into a dark world. It is our job to testify to a lost world, the love of God. When you feel overwhelmed turn to our God. He will show you what to do, how, to testify and what to say. “1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.Psalm 121:1-2, ESV. We are carrying his light keeping the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .

What Makes Us Believers?

Today’s Feast

Oct. 23, 2015 – John 4

What Makes Us Believers?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in John Chapter 4; Christ's departure into Galilee. (1-3) His discourse with the Samaritan woman. (4-26) The effects of Christ's conversation with the woman of Samaria. (27-42) Christ heals the nobleman's son. (43-54)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Ponder this as we read today's feast; what is it that makes us believers? Did someone tell us about Jesus and that’s why we believe? Did the Holy Spirit reveal Jesus to you? “39 Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his word. 42 They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”John 4:39-42, ESV. Whether someone shared their faith or you believe because you read it in the Word, the Holy Spirit revealed the truth to you when you accepted God’s gift of a loving eternal life, with Jesus. So let's continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.

John 3:16

To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!" Proverbs 15:23, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in John Chapter 3; “Christ's discourse with Nicodemus. (1-21) The baptism of John of Christ John's testimony. (22-36)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

When we read today's feast we see Nicodemus coming (John 3:1-2) to Jesus in the night, like he was ashamed to be seen with Jesus. Jesus told him he had to be born again and explained God's gift of salvation to every person on Earth;16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16, ESV. So let's continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.
