Let The World See Jesus!

Today’s Feast Dec. 12, 2015 – I Samuel 29 Let The World See Jesus! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter 29; “David objected to by the Philistines. (1-5) He is dismissed by Achish. (6-11)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we see that David even though he is accepted by king Achish, he is rejected to by the Philistines. He is dismissed by Achish, even when he didn’t want to fight without David. “9 Then Achish answered and said to David, "I know that you are as good in my sight as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’ 10 Now therefore, rise early in the morning with your master’s servants who have come with you. And as soon as you are up early in the morning and have light, depart." 11 So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to return to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.” I Samuel 29:9 -11, ESV.  Sometimes it may seem hard to go on as a child of God.  I noticed though that was what endeared David to king Achish. Saint; you and I must let the world see Jesus through us. “14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.” Matthew 5:14-15, ESV.  Keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. When I Disobey My Lord God!

Today’s Feast Dec. 11, 2015 – I Samuel 28 When I Disobey My Lord God! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”  Isaiah 7:14, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter 28; “Achish puts confidence in David, Saul's fear. (1-6) Saul consults a witch at Endor. (7-19) Saul's terror. (20-25)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today as we read in 1st Samuel, Achish tells David to join him to fight against Israel. When Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart trembled greatly. Saul is afraid because God lifts his anointing. Saul consults a medium, a witch at Endor. Saul in terror for his actions and the Lord’s reaction refuses to eat; “23 He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his servants, together with the woman, urged him, and he listened to their words. So he arose from the earth and sat on the bed. 24 Now the woman had a fattened calf in the house, and she quickly killed it, and she took flour and kneaded it and baked unleavened bread of it, 25 and she put it before Saul and his servants, and they ate. Then they rose and went away that night.” I Samuel 28:23-25, ESV. I know it terrifies me when I disobey my Lord God. Our God is awesome, he has always forgiven me when I repent and ask for forgiveness. A Purpose For Your Life Too!

Today’s Feast Dec. 10, 2015 – I Samuel 27 A Purpose For Your Life Too! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen—  “ Deuteronomy 18:1, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter 27; “David retires to Gath. (1-7) David deceives Achish. (8-12)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today as we read in 1st Samuel, We see David request to and is allowed by Achish to move to Gath. He stays there for a year and four months. David deceives Achish, by routing and absolutely destroying enemies of Israel. “9 And David would strike the land and would leave neither man nor woman alive, but would take away the sheep, the oxen, the donkeys, the camels, and the garments, and come back to Achish. 10 When Achish asked, “Where have you made a raid today?” David would say, “Against the Negeb of Judah,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Kenites.”” I Samuel 27:9-10, ESV.  God keeps his word to destroy those who would be Israel’s enemy. God Never Fails!

Today’s Feast Dec. 9, 2015 – I Samuel 26 God Never Fails! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel  Chapter 26; “Saul goes after David, who again spares Saul's life. (1-12) David exhorts Saul. (13-20) Saul acknowledges his sin. (21-25)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today we read in 1st Samuel, Saul continues to go after David to kill him. David out of respect to God’s anointed again spares Saul’s life. David seeking peace exhorts Saul. Saul acknowledges his sin; however he shows no sign of true repentance. “22 And David answered and said, “Here is the spear, O king! Let one of the young men come over and take it. 23 The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness, for the Lord gave you into my hand today, and I would not put out my hand against the Lord's anointed. 24 Behold, as your life was precious this day in my sight, so may my life be precious in the sight of the Lord, and may he deliver me out of all tribulation.” I Samuel 26:22-24, ESV. God never fails to forgive and restore those who turn to him in true repentance.
