One Nation Under God?

Today’s Feast

Dec. 19, 2015 – II Samuel 5

One Nation Under God?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

76 And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, 77 to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, 78 because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high Luke 1:76-78, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel
Chapter 5; “ David king over all Israel. (1-5) He takes the strong-hold of Zion. (6-10) David's kingdom established. (11-16) He defeats the Philistines. (17-25) ” -Matthew Henry Concise.

We see God make David king over all of His people. The Lord God leads David so he takes the strong-hold of Zion. One nation under God, David’s kingdom established. Guides David so that he defeats the Philistines. “22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. 23 And when David inquired of the Lord, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees. 24 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the Lord has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” 25 And David did as the Lord commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba to Gezer.2 Samuel 5:22-25, ESV. When people call and wait on the Lord God, he defends them. If we wait on God, he will go before us;  “making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Ephesians 1:9-10, ESV.  Keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

You’ll find the praise and prayer list at; admenu.com/prayer.html.  Prayer request or Praise reports can be sent to brother Mike at;  mike@admenu.com

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information;  admenu.com/calling.htm .

Before Every Decision?

Today’s Feast

Dec. 18, 2015 – II Samuel 4

Before Every Decision?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

68 "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people
69 and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,
70 as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old, Luke 1:68-70, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel
Chapter 4; “Ishbosheth murdered. (1-7) David puts to death the murderers. (8-12)” -Matthew Henry Concise.

Ishbosheth whom David considers a righteous man is murdered. David puts to death Rechab and Baanah, the murderers. 10 when one told me, ‘Behold, Saul is dead,’ and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and killed him at Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news. 11 How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous man in his own house on his bed, shall I not now require his blood at your hand and destroy you from the earth?” 12 And David commanded his young men, and they killed them and cut off their hands and feet and hanged them beside the pool at Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth and buried it in the tomb of Abner at Hebron.2 Samuel 4:10-12, ESV. Always call on God before every decision, big or small. If you wait on God for the answer you will avoid sin.  Thank you for praying for our nation with us. Listen for God’s answer in everything you do. “6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.Romans 13:6, ESV.  Let’s keep God in charge of every area of our lives. Keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Dec. 17, 2015 – II Samuel 3

Where Does God Abide?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel
Chapter 3; “David's power increases His family. (1-6) Abner revolts to David. (7-21) Joab kills Abner David mourns for him.(22-39)” -Matthew Henry Concise.

During war the between the house of Saul and the house of David’s family increases and he grew stronger in power. Abner visits David at Hebron to gather information to aid in revolting against David. Joab Murders Abner and David mourned for him; “33 And the king lamented for Abner, saying, "Should Abner die as a fool dies?
34 Your hands were not bound; your feet were not fettered; as one falls before the wicked you have fallen." And all the people wept again over him. 2 Samuel 3:33-34, ESV. God is always with us; no matter where we are or who has been appointed over us, we can always thank God for His joy. “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Hebrews 13:5, ESV. Let’s keep God in charge of every area of our lives. Keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Our Feast In God’s Word 2015

Today’s Feast

Dec. 15, 2015 – II Samuel 1

Our Feast In God’s Word 2015

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

30 And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:30-33, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 2 Samuel Chapter 1; “This book is the history of the reign of king David. It relates his victories, the growth of the prosperity of Israel, and his reformation of the state of religion. With these events are recorded the grievous sins he committed, and the family as well as public troubles with which he was punished. We here meet with many things worthy of imitation, and many that are written for our warning. The history of king David is given in Scripture with much faithfulness, and from it he appears, to those who fairly balance his many virtues and excellent qualities against his faults, to have been a great and good man.
Tidings brought to David of the death of Saul. (1-10) The Amalekite is put to death. (11-16) David's lamentation for Saul and Jonathan. (17-27)”  - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of 2nd Samuel 1. Today not only do we start 2nd Samuel, we change coarse a bit to explain this ministry. The Feast started as and still is an easy prayerful read through God’s Word. It takes about fifteen minutes a day to pray and read a chapter a day with us.  We go through every word in God’s Word in about every three years.  As you know I do not accept monetary donations, God continues to provide. I thank God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit  and you the Saints for sharing this ministry with me. I still accept prayer as well as maintain a prayer list for your praise and prayer requests.
We do well to keep the first thing first, that is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16, ESV.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
