Today
we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 27; “ David's military force. (1-15) Princes and officers. (16-34) ” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 27. We
see the Military Divisions; “1 This is the number of the people of Israel, the
heads of fathers' houses, the commanders of thousands and hundreds, and their
officers who served the king in all matters concerning the divisions that
came and went, month after month throughout the year, each division numbering
24,000:”

Chronicles 27:1, ESV. And the leaders, councilors and scribes
appointed; “32 Jonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor,
being a man of understanding and a scribe. He and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni
attended the king's sons. 33 Ahithophel was the king's
counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend. 34 Ahithophel
was succeeded by Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab
was commander of the king's army.” 1
Chronicles 27:32-33, ESV. David knew the value of being and
appointing good stewards over all of God’s gifts. God has given you and I salvation,
prepared us for battle and spreading the gifts he has given us as we are
Ambassadors; “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to
observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you
always, to the end of the age.”“ Matthew
28:16-20, ESV. We just as David
know the importance of a strong military.
God has identified the real enemy and showed us how to prepare for the
battle, as soldiers of the cross; “12 For we do
not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness,
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.“ Ephesians
6:12, ESV. Therefor as good
stewards we will stand prepared; for War and Peace! If the Lord is willing I

Today
we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 26; “The
offices of the Levites.” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 25. Success
depends on planning and cooperation with God.
Today we see different duties assigned as there were needs and
capabilities; “26 This Shelomoth and his brothers were in charge
of all the treasuries of the dedicated gifts that David the king and the
heads of the fathers' houses and the officers of the thousands and the
hundreds and the commanders of the army had dedicated. ” 1
Chronicles 25:6-7, ESV. God has a perfect plan and He gives us
all duties in His Church body. We all members
of one body with each of us being a different member we complete the body; “7 To each is
given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For
to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another
the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to
another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by
the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of
miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to
distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to
another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these
are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one
individually as he wills.” 1
Corinthians 12:7-11, ESV. In the Church body each of us are working
together in harmony to accomplish God’s will. By being together called according
to God’s will we will succeed; “28 And we know
that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those
who are called according to his purpose.“ Romans
8:28, ESV. If the Lord is willing

Saints,
Today
we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 25; “The
singers and musicians.
-
David put those in order who were appointed to be singers and musicians in
the temple. To prophesy, in this place, means praising God with great
earnestness and devout affections, under the influences of the Holy Spirit.
In raising these affections, poetry and music were employed. If the Spirit of
God do not put life and fervour into our devotions, they will, however
ordered, be a lifeless, worthless form.” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 25. Today
we see the order in organization for the temple and the worship of God. There
is two hundred, musicians and singers for the worship service. “6 They were all under the
direction of their father in the music in the house of the Lord with cymbals,
harps, and lyres for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and
Heman were under the order of the king. 7 The number of them along
with their brothers, who were trained in singing to the Lord, all who were
skillful, was 288.” 1
Chronicles 25:6-7, ESV. What a worship service that must be? Does
that give you a hint about what heaven will be like? “23 Search
me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24 And
see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way
everlasting!” Psalm
139:23-24, ESV. Some people think that heaven will be everlasting
boring. The believers will get wings and float around on pretty
white clouds. I think that every clean soul that enters heaven
will be rejoicing, singing and worshiping God. The only way anyone
can be numbered in saints in heaven is through Jesus. If anyone
says there is any other way into heaven they are a liar. I don’t
think we can imagine what the future in God’s heavenly kingdom will be like. I
do know this however; I for one want to be in the band, when I get to heaven.

Today
we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 24; “The
divisions of the priests and Levites.
-
When every one has, knows, and keeps his place and work, the more there are
the better. In the mystical body of Christ, every member has its use, for the
good of the whole. Christ is High Priest over the house of God, to whom all
believers, being made priests, are to be in subjection. In Christ, no
difference is made between bond and free, elder and younger. The younger
brethren, if faithful and sincere, shall be no less acceptable to Christ than
the fathers. May we all be children of the Lord, fitted to sing his praises
for ever in his temple above.” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 24. God allows King David to assign tasks
to all the Levites. David organized them according to the duties of their
service. “30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the
sons of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses. 31 These also, the head of each father’s house and his younger
brother alike, cast lots, just as their brothers the sons of Aaron, in the
presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of fathers’ houses of
the priests and of the Levites.” 1
Chronicles 24:30-31, ESV. Again “God
gave David the Job of management for the temple service.” God provided enough people to accomplish the task. They
were all of one mind no matter what their individual task; they were all
dedicated to God. “17 Because there is one bread, we who are many are one
body, for we all partake of the one bread” 1
Corinthians 10:17, ESV. No matter what Jesus has called us to
do, we are all one in the body of Christ. Whatever duty
we are called to in the body, remember there is only one head. The head of the body is Jesus! There is only one name under heaven which we are called by. Jesus is the only one who delivers us to salvation. Jesus paid the whole price for our sin. It is pure joy to serve Jesus Christ. No part of the body functions without the rest of the body. The body cannot survive without the head. If the

Saints,
Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 23; “David declares Solomon his
successor. (1-23) The office of the Levites. (24-32) ” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we
prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 23. King
David prepares the people to manage in in the temple service. “32 Thus they were to keep charge of the tent of meeting
and the sanctuary, and to attend the sons of Aaron, their brothers, for the
service of the house of the Lord.” 1
Chronicles 23,
English Standard Version (ESV). God gave David the Job of
management for the temple service. God supplied the manpower for
the temple service. Whenever God requires something he provides
the means. “6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known to God.” Philippians
4:6, ESV. When the Lord calls on you to do anything be
like David, don’t get upset do everything in order. Look to God
for the means he will supply you with material things needed to do God’s
will. Wait on the Lord, God will provide. Don’t fleece
the flock; God doesn’t need your money or means. “14 So Abraham
called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide”; as it
is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be
provided.”” Genesis
22:14, ESV. Prayer, orderly planning and preparation is a
must, faith in God is imperative. Besides that with everything
we’ve been reading have you noticed; when people endeavor to “help God” it is
a mistake. Remember Abraham, Sarah and Hagar? If the Lord is

Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 22; “David's preparations for the
temple. (1-5) David's instructions to Solomon. (6-16) The prices commanded to assist. (17-19)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 22. In
today’s Feast, David is told that his son Solomon will build God’s
home. King David gives his son instructions for building the
Temple of God. “18
“Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every
side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the
land is subdued before the Lord and his people. 19 Now set your
mind and heart to seek the Lord your God. Arise and build the sanctuary of
the Lord God, so that the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy
vessels of God may be brought into a house built for the name of the Lord.”” 1
Chronicles 22:18-19, ESV. God is building a new church and
each of us is the craftsmen of God’s new Church. Jesus laid the
foundation of God’s new temple on the cross. We are instructed to
continue the building of the temple where the Holy Spirit
dwells. “ 9 Have I not
commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and
do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you
go.”” Joshua
1:9, ESV. As believers we are responsible for gathering
material and building this church. Jesus gave us the great
commission in Matthew
28:18-20. Don’t be put off rather be courageous for the Lord
our God is with us. Keep praying and reading God’s Word every day
because this is how faith is built (see Romans
10:16-18). “1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so
great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which
clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before
us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews
12:1-2 ESV. Remember today is the “Day of Salvation”, its race
day! If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again

God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” Romans 3:23-24, English Standard Version (ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1
Chronicles, Chapter 21; “David's numbering the people.” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 21. In
today’s Feast we see David influenced by Satan, take a census. God gives
King David three choices for the payment price of this sin. David chooses God
to extract the price of his sin. “28 At that time, when David saw that the Lord had answered
him at the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he sacrificed there. 29
For the tabernacle of the Lord, which Moses had made in the wilderness, and
the altar of burnt offering were at that time in the high place at Gibeon, 30
but David could not go before it to inquire of God, for he was afraid of the
sword of the angel of the Lord.” 1
Chronicles 21:28-30, ESV. Even after God extracted the price
of this sin, David was afraid to go past the angel. Why do you
think this is? I believe it was because David didn’t know
the mind of God. “8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9 For as the heavens
are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my
thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah
55:8-9, ESV. This is the reason many people are afraid of
Jesus. They don’t understand who he is let alone why the price of
sin requires payment. I’ve heard many people saved and otherwise
claim that; “Satan made me do it!” The fact that Satan is there
constantly insinuating that sin is beautiful, funny or cute does not excuse
sin. Nor does it excuse the price for sin. Sin may look
great at first but I can assure you it is spiritual cancer. We
have two choices either we die in sin or we accept God’s gift of salvation! The
price that Jesus paid is payment in full. If you haven’t accepted
Jesus I suggest you ask God (pray); then choose this link ( http://admenu.com/calling.html) to
learn how to do it. If you have accepted Jesus you need to be
there to interpret a sinner’s cry for salvation. Let your light
shine and you will never be looking for an excuse. In the process
of letting your light shine you may be responsible for another saved soul. If
