To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments.” Habakkuk 3:19, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 34   The bible (The Word of god) tells about the good reign of Josiah in Judah.  We see early on that he set out trying serve God by knocking down high places and smashing Idols to dust.  Then as he put his people to repair the temple the book that contained God’s law was found. It was read t Josiah and that’s when he found out what God really wanted.   “31 And the king stood in his place and made a covenant before theLord, to walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.32 Then he made all who were present in Jerusalem and in Benjamin join in it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.” 2 Chronicles 34:31-32, ESV. Most people don’t read the bible (The Word of god) until after they are saved. That’s why many of them think that if you act good God will save them. The Word of God tells us what God really wants. “18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lambwithout blemish or spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19, ESV    He wants us to know that Jesus already paid the full price for all of our sin before we even sinned.  He wants us to have a personal relationship with him (see Revelation 3:19-21).  He wants us to love him with all our hearts (see Matthew 22:36-40).  And because he is not willing that any should perish he wants us to share God’s love with the whole world (see Matthew 28:19).   That’s right we are really saved to a Jesus centered life, a purpose filled life!   That is what we find in God’s Word. Do You Hear Jesus Calling?

The Best of the Feast Jun. 7, 2016 – 2 Chronicles 33 Do You Hear Jesus Calling? clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   “2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God… 4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. ” Psalm 90:2,4, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 33.  Manasseh’s sins were overwhelming as he worshipped false gods in high places.  Manasseh realized where the sin of himself and his people was leading them.  He repented and asked God for forgiveness.  God is awesome and full of grace; God forgave and healed Manasseh and his people.  Amon was wicked even worse than his father.  When he was warned or convicted of his sins he never repented and turned to God. “23 And he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself, but this Amon incurred guilt more and more. 24 And his servants conspired against him and put him to death in his house. 25 But the people of the land struck down all those who had conspired against King Amon. And the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.” 2 Chronicles 33:23-25, ESV.  It doesn’t seem necessary to tell a sinner he is dying in sin.  The sinner knows he is sinning and living in the dark places.  God speaks to the heart of the sinner and God’s servants tell him about God’s grace and how God loved them so much; Jesus died for their sins.  These things infuriate the sinner that chooses to ignore God’s grace. God will not forgive those who fail to turn from their sin. What’s Becoming of Us?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   “17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 32   King Hezekiah and the Lord’s people are still serving and trusting God.  King Sennacherib and his people are worshiping gods made by men. Sennacherib is defeated by the Lord God. (1-23) Hezekiah in sickness shows the failure of his flesh, his sin was, pride. He realized that his pride would be his downfall he repented and called upon God to forgive him.  God forgave him and his reign remained prosperous to his death. “20 Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. 21 And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chronicles 32:20-21 English Standard Version (ESV).  Our flesh can make us proud while God is blessing us.  If we turn to Jesus and sincerely repent God examines our hearts. Jesus is true to save us from ourselves and Satan.  Therefore we give God the glory for all things good.  “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans 1:20, ESV   There are no excuses if we listen to our hearts and claim the credit for God’s work we will fall.  If we are quick to give God all the glory we will prosper and have peace that passes understanding.   Q: What is the goal of the feast? A: To read every word in God’s Word in about 3 years! To study and grow in faith!  To continually watch ourselves and our relationship with Jesus! What’s Becoming of Us?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   “11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 31   King Hezekiah loved God with all his heart and his subjects in turn loved God.  King Hezekiah’s faith and love for God inspired his subjects and they destroyed all the Idols and high places in the kingdom.  “20 Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. 21 And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chronicles 31:20-21, ESV.  God knows our hearts Saints.  If we demonstrate the kind of faith that lights up our life, those around us will be hungry and yearn for salvation.  “28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”” John 10:28-30, ESV.  Jesus saved us and overcame death for us.  We are free to love God with all our heart.  As we serve God so that our light shines we will draw others to Jesus.  If we possess the love of God ourselves, those around us will draw people to Jesus.  So what’s becoming of us? We will become fishers of men. Who Do I Serve?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   “11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, OLord, and you are exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 30   King Hezekiah loved God and decided to keep the Passover house of the Lord at Jerusalem.   King Hezekiah, through grace, turned to God and he was doing all he could to bring others to the one true God.  “26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem. 27 Then the priests and the Levites arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to his holy habitation in heaven.” 2 Chronicles 30:26-27, ESV.  God knew King Hezekiah’s heart. God knows the heart of those who serve him as well as those who are using religion to serve themselves.  Though it was easy to see Hezekiah was sincere because he made Israel as welcome to the Passover, as any of his own subjects.  “12 And what I am doing I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” 2 Corinthians 11:12-15, ESV.  Saint’s, you and I must guard against those who are using the gospel for their own gratification.  But not only others we must judge our own hearts.  Am I in God’s service for my own gratification?  Of course not! I’m in service to bless the one true God. Getting There From Here!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 29   King Hezekiah loved God and ruled the kingdom in a Godly manner.  He began his reign honoring God. The kingdom prospered accordingly.  “35 Besides the great number of burnt offerings, there was the fat of the peace offerings, and there were the drink offerings for the burnt offerings. Thus the service of the house of the Lord was restored.36 And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because God had provided for the people, for the thing came about suddenly.” 2 Chronicles 29:35-36, ESV.  His kingdom prospered because he whole heartedly followed God. He immediately restored God’s temple.  Then he quickly made sacrifices to atone for the sin of his forbearers and himself.  “20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, ESV.  The wages of sin are death and we all earned this wage until Jesus died for our sins.  Yes Jesus paid the whole price for our sin and three days later he triumphed over death He raised from the dead.  That is how we were ransomed from death in sin to a good life everlasting. Accepting Jesus as our savior (see John 14:6) is the only way to get there from here. Do We Commit Our Whole Life?

The Best of the Feast Jun. 2, 2016 – 2 Chronicles 28 Do We Commit Our Whole Life? clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   “28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:28, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   As we prayerfully read 2 Chronicles 28, we see what happens when people turn away from the one true God. Because of the wicked reign of Ahaz in Judah. – God gave Israel this victory because was angry with the wicked ways of Judah. “22 In the time of his distress he became yet more faithless to the Lord—this same King Ahaz. 23 For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus that had defeated him and said, “Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me.” But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.” 2 Chronicles 28:22-23, ESV.  It never works to commit halfway to God. We both confess with our mouth and believe with our heart; “9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:9-10, ESV. Our bible doesn’t tell us to put on half the armor of God.  The Word doesn’t tell us to put on as much armor as suits us (see Ephesians 6:11).  Jesus doesn’t ask us to follow him for part of the journey.  God doesn’t ask us to like him with part of our heart.  When you pick up your cross and follow Jesus, you’re in for the whole marathon.  Saints it is true we commit to Jesus all the way or not at all.
