What About The Good Old Days?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 36. “Elihu thinks Jobs not yet humbled. Elihu counsels Job telling him that God heals the faithful. He tries to cheer up Job in the work of God concerning man. 14 They die in youth,
And their life ends among the perverted persons.
15 He delivers the poor in their affliction,
And opens their ears in oppression.
16 “Indeed He would have brought you out of dire distress,
Into a broad place where there is no restraint;
And what is set on your table would be full of richness.
 Job 36:14-16, New King James Version (NKJV). Elihu is there trying to bolster Job’s faith and cheerful surrender to the will of God. The natural man resists God. However, I’ve never met a Saint that resents inviting Jesus into his heart. [The Race of Faith]   Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,Hebrews 12:1, NKJV. Don’t cling to nor brag about your life as a natural person. Cling to the grace of God, peace of the Holy Spirit, and our Salvation in Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Listen can you still Jesus calling! Saying; “sinner com home!” He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html

Today’s Verse; [God the Help of Those Who Seek Him] [A Song of Ascents.] 1I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 , NKJV.

How Can I Share My Faith?

The Best of the Feast

How Can I Share My Faith?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 35. Elihu asks what is aman’s conduct to God. He says why does God ignore those who are in trouble. Elihu chastises Job for being impatient. “14 Although you say you do not see Him,
Yet justice is before Him, and you must wait for Him.
15 And now, because He has not punished in His anger,
Nor taken much notice of folly,
16 Therefore Job opens his mouth in vain;
He multiplies words without knowledge.”
Job 35:14-16, New King James Version (NKJV).
It looks like Elihu knows Job’s mind as well as he does God’s. We see he is angry at Job because he thinks Job put’s his own-self before God. “[By Faith We Understand] 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1, NKJV.  How would you approach Job, considering he has lost everything even his health? Somehow I think the answer would be to ask him; How can I pray for You. In that way you could share your faith with Job, while his faith is being tested.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Listen Jesus is calling! Saying; “sinner com home!” He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html

Today’s Verse; 4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4, NKJV.

Reserved For God!

Reserved For God!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 34. Elihu leaning on his own understanding accuses Job of saying that God is not just. There is no injustice in God. Elihu talks of God’s omnipotence and guardianship. Elihu reproves Job; “35 ‘Job speaks without knowledge,
His words are without wisdom.’
36 Oh, that Job were tried to the utmost,
Because his answers are like those of wicked men!
37 For he adds rebellion to his sin;
He claps his hands among us,
And multiplies his words against God.”” Job 34:35-37, New King James Version (NKJV)
It’s hard at times not to judge people around us. We should try to remember Judgment just as vengeance is reserved for God. “ 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. “ Hebrews 9:27-28. NKJV. With this in mind if you see anyone around you who needs to know Jesus ask them if you can pray for them.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Truly Happy For Others?

The Best of the Feast

Sep. 8, 2016 – Job 33
Truly Happy For Others?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 33. Elihu endeavors to reveal his thoughts with Job. Elihu feels that Job is trying to explain how God should act. It is God who calls us to turn from sin. At times God sends trials for the good of men; “31 “Give ear, Job, listen to me;
Hold your peace, and I will speak.
32 If you have anything to say, answer me;
Speak, for I desire to justify you.
33 If not, listen to me;
Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.”Job 33:31-33, New King James Version (NKJV). It is a hard thing to be happy for others and content with God’s provisions if your heart is not right. “10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.“  Philippians 4:10-12, NKJV.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Do you hear him calling?  Sinner com home? He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call.  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html

Today’s Verse; 10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. Psalm 143:10, NKJV.

The Truth Is; “All Lives Matter!”

The Truth Is; “All Lives Matter!”

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 32. Elihu says; Job is self-righteous and his friends say he has done wrong. However, they can’t say what it is Job did wrong. Elihu criticizes them. Job speaks about their situations saying they ignore God’s righteousness; “20 I will speak, that I may find relief;
I must open my lips and answer.
21 Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone;
Nor let me flatter any man.
22 For I do not know how to flatter,
Else my Maker would soon take me away.” Job 32:20-22,  New King James Version (NKJV).  The truth remains; All Life Matters; because God Loves everyone; “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16, NKJV.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Care Enough To Pray!

The Best of the Feast

Photo:

Sep. 6, 2016 – Job 31
Care Enough To Pray!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 31.  Job replies to the charge of hypocrisy and affirms his respectability. Job has been faithful in sexuality and says he shouldn’t endure the wrath of God.  He denies selfishness in regard to the needs of those less fortunate.   Job feels he is not guilty of idolatry or self-indulgence. He proclaims his innocence in regards to double standards and violence; “38 “If my land cries out against me,
And its furrows weep together;
39 If I have eaten its fruit[a] without money,
Or caused its owners to lose their lives;
40 Then let thistles grow instead of wheat,
And weeds instead of barley.”” Job 31:38-40, New King James Version (NKJV).
Today we have read that Job feels he is upright, and living a godly life. Yet God is allowing him to be tested.  When we are tested by the enemy we must remember who it is that tempts us.  Also remember this God tells us how to endure the wiles of the enemy.  “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,” Ephesians 6:12-14, NKJV. When you see a person going through trials try asking them if you can pray for them.  You’ll be amazed how grateful people can be because you care enough to pray for them.  If they reveal that they are a Christian pray for their needs with them.  Then remind them how Jesus prepares believers (Ephesians 6) to stand against the enemy.  If they don’t reveal that they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, pray for their needs as well as their salvation.  Remember to be a soldier serving Jesus in all that you say and do.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

What Can We Say?

The Best of the Feast

Sep. 5, 2016 – Job 30
What Can We Say?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 30.  Job’s compares his former affluence and honour which has turned into disdain. Job complains having hard thoughts about God. “ 29 I am a brother of jackals,
And a companion of ostriches.
30 My skin grows black and falls from me;
My bones burn with fever.
31 My harp is turned to mourning,
And my flute to the voice of those who weep.” Job 30:29-31  New King James Version (NKJV).  There are something’s that Job finds contentment in. However, Job believes that his troubles will end with his life. If no one has pity on us, our Lord Jesus, who forgives all sin, will love and forgive all who believe as they become God’s children.   “ 30 I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.”   Psalm 119:30, NKJV. When you see an unbeliever or saint overcome with their life that is the time to tell them to turn to Jesus. Remember; “Jesus is the answer for the world today!” Unknown Author, If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.Matthew 28:18-20, NKJV.
