Alive In Christ, Dead To The World!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 6, 2017 – Colossians 2
Alive In Christ, Dead To The World!
so we have no concern for the platitudes of the world.

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading Colossians 2.

In Colossians 2 Paul is saying there, is no room in our life for the condemnation of the flesh.  There is no reason for us to bow down to men or angels. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit, we have no need to approach God in any other name than Christ Jesus.   “20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.”  Colossians 2:20-23 – New King James Version (NKJV).
Jesus is the reason we joyfully share the Christian message with the world.  “13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.1 John 4:13-15 NKJV.  We as the true saints are given the opportunity to carry God’s joyful message about our Savior Jesus, to the world (see Matthew 28:19-20).  We have God’s Word as our reminder do we need any other token to remind us of the love of God?

Father we thank you for sending your gift of salvation through your only begotten son!  Hallelujah!
 Amen!

If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Do They All Know Christ

The Best of the Feast

Feb 5, 2017 – Colossians 1
Do They All Know Christ?
The Holy Spirit gives us the desire to share Jesus with the whole world

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
In Colossians 1 Paul is saying that, faithful fellowship with all Christians is observed by saints everywhere.  He goes on to say that Jesus is glorified by their faith.  Paul proclaims that suffering for the body is equal to suffering for the head.  “28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.”  Colossians 1:28-29  – New King James Version (NKJV).  These scriptures remind us that faith, hope, and love, are in the nature of the Christians (see Colossians 1:5-6).   We now are the elect Saints that have matured to carry the love of Jesus to the world.  “So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:6-7 NKJV.   Now they recognize Jesus as the baby in a manger.  If we are faithful to carry the Word of God to the world they will understand who Jesus the Christ really is (see Matthew 28:16-20).

Father let us share the Word, Jesus, with the world! Hallelujah! Amen!

If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Our Citizenship Is In Heaven!

The Best of the Feast

Our Citizenship Is In Heaven!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Philippians.  By reading Philippians 4.   Paul is telling the Philippians to support their fellow Christians. He tells them of the blessing he receives from being in service to Jesus.  “21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, but especially those who are of Caesar's household. 23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”  Philippians 4:21-23  –New King James Version (NKJV).   I didn’t think I would see the day when people would be persecuted for quoting the Word of God. I now understand that we are engaged in a war with powers, principalities and spiritual forces of evil (see Ephesians 6:12).   Many people are not even allowed to speak of Jesus in the work place. I don’t advocate rebelling against your employer.   Jesus provides us with our employment and we must honor our employers. “16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.Matthew 10:16 NKJV.  So when you are the customer at any business at the conclusion of your business wish the people you are dealing with a hearty; “God Bless You!” In doing so you are reminding people that we are still worshiping Jesus, and that God still blesses those who love Jesus!
Father help us to share Jesus with those we patronize this year and every year until you take us home! Hallelujah! Amen!
If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Wait! Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to answer His call?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.

Our Savior, Christ The Lord!

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Philippians.  By reading Philippians 3.   Paul is telling the Philippians that salvation is not given for keeping law.  He reiterates salvation is the gift of God paid for through Jesus.  “20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,”  Philippians 3:20  – New King James Version (NKJV).   We are saved by our Savior Jesus there is no other name by which we receive salvation  (see Acts 4:12).   We are sharing Jesus with all mankind; Jesus is the gift for every season.  “68 "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began,Luke 1:68-70 NKJV.   We thank God the Father for our citizenship in heaven through Jesus God coming to us as a baby in the season (see Philippians 3:20). Lord we invite all men to share in your Christmas gift! Hallelujah! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Our Example Of Humility Is Jesus!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 2, 2017 – Philippians 2

Our Example Of Humility Is Jesus!
oyfully sharing according to the example of the Lord Jesus.

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Philippians.  By reading Philippians 2.   Paul is asking the Philippians to be Christ like in every aspect of their life as they follow Jesus.    “15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. 17 Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.”  Philippians 2:15-18  – New King James Version (NKJV).   The scripture we read here is as significant today as it was when Paul wrote this letter (see 2 Timothy 3:16).   We should be glad and rejoicing as we share the Christmas message with a world that may be more receptive today than any other time right now during the Christmas season. “68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people, 69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David, 70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began,
” Luke 1:68-70 NKJV.   We continue to celebrate Jesus’ birth with joy and thanksgiving (see Philippians 2:14-15) and good will for all mankind, Thank you, Jesus, for keeping us that the Father has given you! Hallelujah!
If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
