How We Roll!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 10, 2017 – I Thessalonians 3-4
How We Roll!

Dear Saints,

About the Feast. The Feast is a daily study in God’s word. By reading a chapter a day we go through every word in the bible in about three years. I send the Feast out usually seven days a week, at time’s I send the weekend Feast for Friday Saturday and Sunday. We host a Praise and Prayer list  which we, keep up on admenu.com.  We do not solicit or accept donations other than prayer or prayerful suggestions.  You may use the links here in the study to get to the scripture and study helps or use whatever bible version you normally use; the outcome will be a positive experience. Click this link; mailto:mike@admenu.com to contact brother Mike Stanford.

Today we prayerfully read I Thessalonians 3 and

I Thessalonians 3  “The apostle sent Timothy to establish and comfort the Thessalonians (1-5) He rejoiced at the good tidings of their faith and love. (6-10) And for their increase in grace. (11-13)” –  Matthew Henry Concise Commentary

I Thessalonians 4  “Exhortations to purity and holiness. (1-8) To brotherly love, peaceable behaviour, and diligence. (9-12) Not to sorrow unduly for the death of godly relations and friends, considering the glorious resurrection of their bodies at Christ’s second coming. (13-18)” –  Matthew Henry Concise Commentary

If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

He will not call forever, this may be the last call from Jesus to you!  Is Jesus calling you?   Do you want to experience perfect love?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; “[ The Greatest Gift ] Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3  NKJV.

God Bless You,
Brother Mike

What Does God Require From Us?

The Best of the Feast

What Does God Require From Us?
Feb 9, 2017 – I Thessalonians 1-2

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend
about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading I Thessalonians Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.

Jesus brings us, our friends, and our families all of the blessings God has intended for those who wait on the Lord!  “6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6  New King James Version (NKJV).   Along with Jesus, came a promise to all mankind! “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16 NKJV.  Those of us who reached out to God, on Jesus name have received the gift of the Holy  Spirit.  “26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.John 14:26 NKJV.   The only thing required of us was to accept the gift God offered to us in John 3:16. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “[ Love Your Enemies ] “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:43-45  NKJV.

God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Celebrate Jesus, Every Day!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 8, 2017 – Colossians 4
Celebrate Jesus, Every Day!
Some men are still searching for Jesus.  You’re now the guiding light in the eastern sky.

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading Colossians 4.

In Colossians 4 Paul is urging those in power to take care of those who work for them just as God has cared for them.  Continuing constantly in prayer in the name of Jesus.  We are to be examples of Christian life in no matter what we are doing.  Paul prays that God’s grace be with them in his closing greetings to the Colossians.  “17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it." 18 This salutation by my own hand--Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen..”  Colossians 4:17-18  – New King James Version (NKJV).  How do you think Paul would be closing the epistle if we were the saints he was addressing today?  He would probably say never to cease celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  Let our light continue to shine in its fullness for those wise enough to be seeking Jesus. “1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:1-2  NKJV.  Honor Jesus in everything you do and say (see Colossians 3:17).  Remember God sent Jesus to save the world not condemn it.

Sharing God’s love, fullness and grace!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 7, 2017 – Colossians 3
Sharing God’s  love, fullness and grace!
How Do We Share Christ’s Birth?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading Colossians 3.

In Colossians 3 Paul is telling the Colossians to keep their minds on the things of God.  To treat everyone with the love they learned from Jesus including their spouses and children.  We are to be examples of Christian life in no matter what we are doing.   “24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.”  Colossians 3:24-25  – New King James Version (NKJV).
The world begins celebrating Christmas as best they know how the day after Thanksgiving.  Those that don’t know Jesus will be celebrating by doing what seems right (see Hebrews 11:6).  Saints like You and I will soberly, prayerfully, and lovingly celebrate Jesus every day of our lives.  “12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Luke 2:12-14  NKJV.   We who love Jesus will be faithful doers of the God’s Word (see Romans 2:13) not Just hearers.  God’s love, grace and Word cannot be separated as we share the birth of Jesus.  Remember Jesus loves the sinner and hates the sin.

Today’s Verse; “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10  NKJV.

God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Alive In Christ, Dead To The World!

The Best of the Feast

Feb 6, 2017 – Colossians 2
Alive In Christ, Dead To The World!
so we have no concern for the platitudes of the world.

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading Colossians 2.

In Colossians 2 Paul is saying there, is no room in our life for the condemnation of the flesh.  There is no reason for us to bow down to men or angels. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit, we have no need to approach God in any other name than Christ Jesus.   “20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.”  Colossians 2:20-23 – New King James Version (NKJV).
Jesus is the reason we joyfully share the Christian message with the world.  “13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.1 John 4:13-15 NKJV.  We as the true saints are given the opportunity to carry God’s joyful message about our Savior Jesus, to the world (see Matthew 28:19-20).  We have God’s Word as our reminder do we need any other token to remind us of the love of God?

Father we thank you for sending your gift of salvation through your only begotten son!  Hallelujah!
 Amen!

If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?   Do you want to experience perfect love?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.
