The Best of the Feast
Feb 12, 2017 – II Thessalonians 1-2
Will We Be Considered Worthy?
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2 Thessalonians Chapter 1 & Chapter 2. In the first two chapters Paul is reaffirming the second coming of Jesus and the Saints (you & I) will be found worthy because Jesus is righteous. “11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV). I think it would be of great advantage in our walk with Jesus to read chapters one and two as if Paul was writing to you and I today’s Saints. “16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NKJV. There is nothing in these two chapters that would be far from our walk with Jesus today. We should be walking with and sharing Jesus wherever we are and whatever we are doing (see Matthew 28:16-20 ) today. “28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 NKJV. Jesus loves every sinner that turns from their sin and asks him into their heart as Lord of their life. Don’t be fooled by what the world proclaims to be legal or good (see Proverbs 3:5-6) there is no salvation in the laws of men. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Can you
hear Jesus calling you? Do you want God to set you
free? Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in
your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions please

Today’s Verse; “does not rejoice in iniquity,
but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13: 6-7 NKJV.

Is This The Day of the Lord?
The Best of the Feast
Is
This The Day of the Lord?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians. By reading 1 Thessalonians 5.
In
1 Thessalonians 5 Paul tell them to be ready for the return of Jesus.
Keep doing the good works that Jesus has called them to and to remain physically
and morally clean. The day of the Lord will come just when no one
expects it. “23 Now may the God of
peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and
body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful,
who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 – New
King James Version (NKJV). Why do we continue to follow Jesus
and call people to serve him over two thousand years since this letter was
written? Maybe because through Jesus we have received that peace
that is beyond reason in the Holy Spirit. I know this much Jesus
is coming and God never lies (see Hebrews 6:18) God’s Word tells me so. “1 A Psalm of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And
all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His
benefits:” Psalm 103:1-2 NKJV. Honor
Jesus in everything you do and say (see Colossians 3:17). Join me
Saints in letting Jesus be the center of our life at school, work, play, and
wherever else we may be. If the Lord is willing I will
write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s
Verse; “4 Love suffers long and is
kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no
evil;” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NKJV.

increase in grace. (11-13)” – Matthew Henry Concise Commentary
I Thessalonians 4 “Exhortations
to purity and holiness. (1-8) To brotherly love, peaceable behaviour, and
diligence. (9-12) Not to sorrow unduly for the death of godly relations and
friends, considering the glorious resurrection of their bodies at Christ’s
second coming. (13-18)” – Matthew Henry Concise Commentary
If the Lord is willing I will

Today’s
Verse; “[ The Greatest Gift ]
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I
have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the
gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love,
I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and
though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NKJV.

What Does God Require From Us?
The Best of the Feast
Feb 9, 2017 – I Thessalonians 1-2
about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in
God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians. By reading I Thessalonians Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
Jesus
brings us, our friends, and our families all of the blessings God has
intended for those who wait on the Lord! “6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is
given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be
called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 New King James
Version (NKJV). Along with Jesus, came a promise to all
mankind! “16 For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV. Those of us who reached out to God, on Jesus
name have received the gift of the Holy
Spirit. “26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring
to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26 NKJV. The
only thing required of us was to accept the gift God offered to us in John 3:16. If the Lord is willing I will
write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Today’s Verse; “[ Love Your Enemies ] “You
have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your
enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do
good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and
persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes
His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on
the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45 NKJV.

Celebrate Jesus, Every Day!
The Best of the Feast
Feb 8, 2017 – Colossians 4
Celebrate Jesus, Every Day!
Some men are
still searching for Jesus. You’re
now the guiding light in the eastern sky.
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians. By reading Colossians 4.
In
Colossians 4 Paul is urging those in power to take care of those who
work for them just as God has cared for them. Continuing
constantly in prayer in the name of Jesus. We are to be examples
of Christian life in no matter what we are doing. Paul prays that
God’s grace be with them in his closing greetings to the Colossians. “17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the
ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it." 18 This salutation by my own
hand--Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen..” Colossians 4:17-18 – New
King James Version (NKJV). How do you
think Paul would be closing the epistle if we were the saints he was
addressing today? He would probably say never to cease celebrating
the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Let our light
continue to shine in its fullness for those wise enough to be seeking Jesus.
“1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea
in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to
Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we
have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:1-2 NKJV. Honor
Jesus in everything you do and say (see Colossians 3:17). Remember
God sent Jesus to save the world not condemn it. If the Lord is willing I will
write and post the Feast tomorrow.
He will not
call forever, this may be the last call from Jesus to you! Is Jesus calling you? Do
you want to experience perfect love? Do you want to find true
happiness, peace, and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes
