The Best of the Feast

What Makes Sense Of The Word?
“11 “Therefore
you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His
judgments, and His commandments always.” Deuteronomy
11:1 NKJV
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years.
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast reading more proverbs of king Solomon who
petitioned God for wisdom Chapter 25.
In
today’s Feast we read proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of
Judah had copied. “13 Like the cold of
snow in time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he
refreshes the soul of his masters. 14 Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is
like clouds and wind without rain.” Proverbs 25:13-14 New King
James Version (NKJV). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom (see Proverbs 9:10). It is wise
to commit the proverbs to our heart (see Deuteronomy 13:3). The Holy
Spirit can bring them to our mind when we need them. “5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who
gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 NKJV. Then if we
seek the kingdom of God first (see Matthew 6:33)
all of our earthly needs will be met. The Holy Spirit will make
sense of God’s Word (see John14:26)
as we have need of it. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast
tomorrow.
Listen! Is Jesus calling you?
Are you ready to answer Him? Do
you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these

Today’s
Verse; “But sanctify the Lord God in
your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a
reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;” 1 Peter 3:15 NKJV.

The Wise Person Turns To?
The Best of the Feast
Mar 9, 2017 – Proverbs 24
The Wise Person Turns To?
““34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34 NKJV
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in

Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 24.
Today’s
Feast is speaking about of the Wise verses the Evil men. “21 My son, fear the Lord and the king; Do not associate
with those given to change; 22 For their calamity will rise suddenly, And who
knows the ruin those two can bring?” Proverbs 24:21-22 New
King James Version (NKJV). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom (see Proverbs 9:10)
and God chooses the leaders that govern us (see Psalm 75:6-7)
even in a democracy. That is not to say don’t vote or exercise your
rights as a citizen (see Acts 22:29 )
we know persons in position are reticent to deny or they respect the rights of
citizens. “7 “Ask, and it will be given
to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For
everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who
knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 ESV. Wise
and powerful persons turn to God (see Proverbs 18:10),
and seek Jesus (see Matthew 6:32-34)
for all their needs. The wise person will always turn to God and
trust in the name of Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the
Feast tomorrow.

Today’s
Verse; “9 who has saved us and called
us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own
purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,”2
Timothy 1:9 NKJV.

Who’s Raising Your Children?
The Best of the Feast
Mar 8, 2017 – Proverbs 23
Who’s Raising Your
Children?
“14 Now for the third
time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do
not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the
parents, but the parents for the children.” 2
Corinthians 12:14 NKJV
Please join with us sharing God’s

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in
the book of Proverbs Chapter 23.
Today’s Feast is about relationships. There
is nothing more important than the relationship between a person and
Jesus. Sobriety is addressed in today’s Feast. The relationship
between a parent and children is so very important so there will I dwell for
the day. “13 Do not withhold
correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. 14
You shall beat him with a rod, And deliver his soul from hell.” Proverbs 23:13-14 New King
James Version (NKJV). God’s Word contains many commandments the
first one that comes with a promise is the commandment that deals with the
relationship between children and their parents (see Ephesians 6:2). A child that
is not raised with instruction in God’s Word is being cheated by the parents,
Jesus said “Let the Children Come to Me”; (seeLuke 18:15-17) and when we do they can
be successful in Jesus. “7 Do not be
deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who
sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8 ESV. As
Christians, it is up to us to instill Godly values in our children. Parents
must teach children whom to obey (see Colossians 3:20). When
children are raised to obey their parents, they learn to please God (see Ephesians 6:1). The
world (Satan) will happily raise your children, but not unto salvation. The
promise of God’s salvation needs to be shared with our children (See Acts 2:38-39). If
are children are taught to obey Jesus and their parents (See 2 Corinthians 12:14)
there will be peace in the family. If the Lord is willing I will write and
post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; Search me, O God, and know my
heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in
me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24 NKJV.

Who Rescues The Saints?

Who Rescues The Saints?
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 22.
Today’s
Feast says that the foolish waste what is theirs. Wise men will
not trespass on another man’s rights. “28 Do not
remove the ancient landmark Which your fathers have set. 29 Do you see a man who excels
in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown
men. ” Proverbs 22:28-29 New King James
Version (NKJV). God’s Word tell us that wise men build on a solid
foundation (see Luke 6:48). We will proclaim
that Jesus is the cornerstone of a wise man’s foundation (see Acts 4:11) and beside him there is no
other name by which people can be saved. “2 My
brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that
the testing of your faith produces patience.” James 1:2-3 ESV. If
we meet up with adverse people or conditions when we are sharing the “Good
News” we will count it all as joy (see 1 Peter 1:6). Jesus
stands ready to rescue the saints from their trials and wipe the tears from
their eyes. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast
tomorrow.

Where Is Our Heart & Armor?
The Best of the Feast
Mar 6, 2017 – Proverbs 21
Where Is Our Heart & Armor?
“28 And we know that all things work
together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called
according to His purpose..” Romans 8:28 NKJV
Please join with us sharing
God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading
every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 21.
Today’s
Feast looks at the folly of ignoring God and trusting in our own
understanding. Wise men trust in God’s love and decrees. “30 There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel
against the Lord. 31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But
deliverance is of the Lord.” Proverbs 21:30-31 New King James
Version (NKJV). We know the fear of the Lord and God knows our
hearts and what we hope for as we share God’s Word (see 2 Corinthians 5:11). We must trust
in the strength of Jesus and we wear God’s whole armor (see Ephesians 6:10-13) because we wrestle
against the sin not the sinner. Jesus came to save sinners not the
righteous people. “12 Therefore, whatever you
want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 NKJV. We
love God in Jesus name so we live by His statutes (see Matthew 22:36-40). Remember
we can do everything through Jesus who gives us strength.
If the Lord is willing I will write and post
the Feast tomorrow.
