God’s Word Imparts Wisdom!

The Best of the Feast

Mar 21, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 1

God’s Word Imparts Wisdom!

16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”  1 John 2:16

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 1

Ecclesiastes an overview, “The name of this book signifies “The Preacher.” The wisdom of God here preaches to us, speaking by Solomon, who it is evident was the author. At the close of his life, being made sensible of his sin and folly, he recorded here his experience for the benefit of others, as the book of his repentance; and he pronounced all earthly good to be “vanity and vexation of spirit.” It convinces us of the vanity of the world, and that it cannot make us happy; of the vileness of sin, and its certain tendency to make us miserable. It shows that no created good can satisfy the soul, and that happiness is to be found in God alone; and this doctrine must, under the blessed Spirit’s teaching, lead the heart to Christ Jesus.”  –  Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Today’s Feast speaks to the value of worldly wisdom.   “18 For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. “   Ecclesiastes 1:18  New King James Version (NKJV). Our Supreme Court as well as any person seeking understanding the will of God or what is good and right should take a lesson here. You can make laws or be as politically correct as you want; If God says it’s sin it is sin (see Ecclesiastes 7:13).  Don’t be fooled by what the world say’s is proper and right.  The only thing that may be new and good (See Ecclesiastes 3:15) is a repentant sinner gaining salvation through God’s Son Jesus.  “16 But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.“  –  Psalm 59:16 NKJV.  Even the angels in heaven rejoice (see Luke 15:10) whenever a soul turns to Jesus for freedom and that more excellent life. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be clean, free from condemnation?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV.

Conducting Ourselves as Christian?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 20, 2017 – I Timothy 6

Conducting Ourselves as Christian?

29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.”  Ephesians 4:29

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 1 Timothy  Chapter 6

Today’s Feast is about the relationship between believers no matter what their station in life might be.  Contentment in Godliness and keeping the faith. Again therein is advice to the believers who are rich in worldly possessions.   “20 O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— “   1 Timothy 6:20  New King James Version (NKJV). It’s up to us to guard against those that appear to be saints yet underneath they are denying the power of Jesus (see 2 Timothy 3:5). We cannot be deceived by those (see Titus 3:9) that hold onto worldly philosophy, (a higher power Romans 2:24} spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.  “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”“ – 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV .  Because we love Jesus we conduct ourselves as Christians in hope, faith and love wearing salvation (see Ephesians 6:17) as a helmet. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 1 Peter 2:2-3 NKJV.

Instructions for Success!

The Best of the Feast

Mar 19, 2017 – I Timothy 5

Instructions for Success!

3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father’s Son, in truth and love.2 John 1:3

Dear Saints,

oday we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 1 Timothy Chapter 5

Today’s Feast examines the care that should be taken in the administration care for elders and health of personal and Church matters.  If any saint errors in their actions whether it is personal or spiritual matter, we find instruction for proper handling of the matter.  “19 Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. 20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. 21 I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. “  1 Timothy 5:19-21. New King James Version (NKJV). Jesus told us no what we are dealing with whether it be spiritual or worldly the first two acts of personal and Godly action would be; “37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”“  Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV.  If we deal properly with any matter by clinging to these two commandments we would be fulfilling all the laws of God in love.  “4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NKJV.   If we deal with any matters personal or concerning the Church with love, neglecting personal objectives or gain (see Luke 6:35) we will find success. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV.

The Feast and Our Mission!

The Best of the Feast

Mar 18, 2017 – I Timothy 3-4

The Feast and Our Mission!

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Hebrews 11:1

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 1 Timothy  Chapter 3 & Chapter 4.

Today I’m departing from our daily format in order to share what and why The Feast is.

What is “The Feast”? The Feast is a daily study in God’s word. By reading a chapter a day (sometimes two) we go through every word in the bible in about three years. I send the Feast out usually seven days a week, sometimes the weekend Feast is for Friday Saturday and Sunday. We host a prayer list which we keep up on prayer every day. http://admenu.com/prayer.html. We would count it a blessing if you asked us to pray for you!

You can always reach me by email at: mike@admenu.com.  I don’t solicit money and I do accept prayerful correction. The Saints that subscribe to the Feast love to pray & they know how to be forgiving because some of them have been putting up with me for years.  We don’t promote any particular version of the bible because if you pray before you read the scripture the Holy Spirit will bless you with understanding.

Our Mission; Faith through the Word We know where faith comes from; “17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. We also know that you need to belong to a fellowship lead by God. We are not trying to fill that need.  We just want to help with prayer when you need it and nourishment on a daily basis.  Our Bible reading plan, takes about 15 minutes a day.  We read every word in the Holy Bible in about three year cycles. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be clean, free from condemnation?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm.

Today’s Verse; 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13 NKJV.

Who Did Jesus Come to Save?

The Best of the Feast

Mar 17, 2017 – I Timothy 1-2

Who Did Jesus Come to Save?

15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.2 Corinthians 5:15

1st Timothy an overview; “The design of the epistle appears to be, that Timothy having been left at Ephesus, St. Paul wrote to instruct him in the choice of proper officers in the church, as well as in the exercise of a regular ministry. Also, to caution against the influence of false teachers, who by subtle distinctions and endless disputes, corrupted the purity and simplicity of the gospel. He presses upon him constant regard to the greatest diligence, faithfulness, and zeal. These subjects occupy the first four chapters; the fifth chapter instructs respecting particular classes; in the latter part, controversies and disputes are condemned, the love of money blamed, and the rich exhorted to good works.” –  Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 1 Timothy Chapter 1 & Chapter 2

In today’s Feast In Chapter 1 the people are warned against promoting un-repentant sinners as members of the Church.  The stratagem of God’s law and Paul’s call to the apostleship.  The Saints are prompted to carry on sharing the gospel in good faith imitating Jesus.  In Chapter 2 we are told to pray for all persons, with no regard for their positions or their outward appearance. How men and women ought to behave in an orderly manner, in every aspect of their life.  We are reminded there is one mediator between men and God.  “18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,1 Timothy 1:18-19  New King James Version (NKJV).   Jesus said if we have faith and do not doubt, we will have the power to move mountains (see Matthew 21:21).   Jesus came and died on the cross for any person willing to repent from their sin and accept the gift of salvation.  “16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;2 Corinthians 5:16-18 NKJV.  Jesus is sent from God the Father to redeem the sinners (see 1 Timothy 2:5).  Jesus didn’t come to save the righteous; he came to rescue those who are lost in sin.

Today’s Verse; [ The Lord the Shepherd of His People ] [ A Psalm of David. ] The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.. Psalm 23:1-3 NKJV.

God Bless You,

Brother Mike
