Together in the Garden of Love

The Best of the Feast

Apr 5, 2017 – Song of Solomon  4

Together in the Garden of Love

“4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”  John 4:4  New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 4.   Begins with a meaning that could be assigned to the splendors of the church.  The love of God calling to His Church to yield (See Psalm 45:10-11) to the love of God.  “16 The Shulamite Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.“   Song of Solomon 4:16  NKJV.  This reminds me of the words of an old hymn; “Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling oh sinner come home!”  There is nothing in this world that can separate us from Jesus; “38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. “  Romans 8:38-39 NKJV.  There are no mountains high enough, oceans deep enough (see Romans 8:31) to keep us from the love of Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Listen carefully! Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to share with Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ”For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.  2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NKJV.

The Bride’s Dream; The Groom Arrives

The Best of the Feast

Apr 4, 2017 – Song of Solomon  3The Bride’s Dream; The Groom Arrives

“34 You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come.””  John 7:34  New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 3.   In Judaism, some sects were so legalistic it was hard to find salvation.  While at times the Church withdrew from God in the wilderness; in love, He remained true (See Psalm 23) providing for His people.  “11 Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And see King Solomon with the crown With which his mother crowned him On the day of his wedding, The day of the gladness of his heart.“   Song of Solomon 3:11 NKJV.  God’s people wandered in the wilderness a picture of worldly wandering in the flesh.  Jesus the King of the heavenly Zion provides for the safe conveyance of his Church on their wedding day.   The believers (see Psalm 91:5) are sheltered by Jesus from Divine wrath.  “35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.“ Romans 8:35,37 NKJV.  Jesus preserves His Church (see 1 Peter 2:24) presenting us without spot or blemish on that great and wonderful day. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

The Bride Adores Her Beloved

The Best of the Feast

Apr 3, 2017 – Song of Solomon  2The Bride Adores Her Beloved

“5 I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon”  Hosea 14:5 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 2.   A mutual admiration society, Jesus, and the Church. The Church clothed in the righteousness of Christ for this wedding. The Church is as the dove and Christ is her Rock; “16 The Shulamite My beloved is mine, and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lilies. 17 (To Her Beloved) Until the day breaks And the shadows flee away, Turn, my beloved, And be like a gazelle Or a young stag Upon the mountains of Bether.“   Song of Solomon 2:16-17 NKJV.   Today’s Feast is about the greatest love story ever told.  Jesus has already saved his bride, the day of the wedding is near  (see Matthew 24:32) be sure you are ready. “23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. “  John 14:23 NKJV.  Your love for Jesus must be sincere (see Romans 12:9). Eschewing all that is evil; adoring Jesus, he alone is good. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse;2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:2 NKJV.

The Bride Confesses Her Love

The Best of the Feast

Apr 2, 2017 – Song of Solomon  1

The Bride Confesses Her Love

“2 I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.”  Psalm 9:2 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Song of Solomon an overview;  “This book is a Divine allegory, which represents the love between Christ and his church of true believers, under figures taken from the relation and affection that subsist between a bridegroom and his espoused bride; an emblem often employed in Scripture, as describing the nearest, firmest, and most sure relation: see ( Psalm 45 ,Isaiah 54:5 Isaiah 54:6 , Jeremiah 2:2 , Jeremiah 3:1 ) ; also in Ezekiel, Hosea, and by our Lord himself, ( Matthew 9:15 , Matthew 25:1 ) : see also (Revelation 21:2 Revelation 21:9 , Ephesians 5:27 ) . There is no character in the church of Christ, and no situation in which the believer is placed, but what may be traced in this book, as humble inquirers will find, on comparing it with other Scriptures, by the assistance of God the Holy Spirit, in answer to their supplications. Much, however, of the language has been misunderstood by expositors and translators. The difference between the customs and manners of Europe, and those of the East, must especially be kept in view. The little acquaintance with eastern customs possessed by most of our early expositors and translators, has in many cases prevented a correct rendering. Also, the changes in our own language, during the last two or three centuries, affect the manner in which some expressions are viewed, and they must not be judged by modern notions. But the great outlines, rightly interpreted, fully accord with the affections and experience of the sincere Christian.”  – Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 1.   This is the excellent “the Song of songs,” It describes the glory and excellent love of Jesus, between him and the Church.  “16 The Shulamite Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green. 17 The beams of our houses are cedar, And our rafters of fir.  Song of Solomon  1:16-17  NKJV. Today’s Feast is speaking of God’s love for those who choose to follow Jesus.  God has already showed perfect love for us when he sent, Christ (see John 15:13) to pay for our trespasses.  “10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. “  1 John 4:10 NKJV. The perfect love of God was proved when Jesus went to the cross paying the whole price for our transgressions.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; ”[ Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection ] Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”  Matthew 20: 17-19 NKJV.

Why Should We Love Them?

The Best of the Feast
Apr 1, 2017 – Ecclesiastes 12Why Should We Love Them?

“7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  2 Timothy 1:7  New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter12.  As we remember or recognize our sins we should repent and ask God’s forgiveness.  Having done that rebuke the evil one in the name of Jesus (see Romans 8:1) when he returns to condemn us for what God has forgiven. “13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. “  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14  NKJV.   Satan is the accuser he is not our judge, Jesus alone paid the price for our sin (see John 15:13).  That is because God showed perfect love for us when he sent, Christ to pay for our trespasses.  “34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” “  John 13:34-35 NKJV.  When we share the good news with that same love of God, they will know that Jesus sent us to share his love with them.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
