In Words Or In The Word

The Best of the Feast

Apr 14, 2017 – Isaiah 1

In Words Or In The Word?

“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  John 1:1 New King James Version (NKJV).

Isaiah Overview; “Isaiah prophesied in the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. He has been well called the evangelical prophet, on account of his numerous and full prophesies concerning the coming and character, the ministry and preaching, the sufferings and death of the Messiah, and the extent and continuance of his kingdom. Under the veil of the deliverance from Babylon, Isaiah points to a much greater deliverance, which was to be effected by the Messiah; and seldom does he mention the one, without alluding at the same time to the other; nay, he is often so much enraptured with the prospect of the more distant deliverance, as to lose sight of that which was nearer, and to dwell on the Messiah’s person, office, character, and kingdom.” –  Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 1.  Isaiah prophesies the coming of Jesus the Savior, and the Day of Salvation. Those who know the Word and (see Jeremiah 8:7) those who won’t.  “31 The strong shall be as tinder, And the work of it as a spark; Both will burn together, And no one shall quench them“  Isaiah 1:31  NKJV.  Isaiah speaks about the rewards for those who trust in words (see Isaiah 66:24) as opposed those who trust in the Word.  “18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”  1 John 3:18 NKJV.  This is the thing every Christian must determine for their self; Am I sharing words or Am I sharing the truth in love, (see Ephesians 4:15) the Word.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Do you want what Jesus has planned for you?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link;a http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ”1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,  1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 NKJV.

Because God So Loves All Of Us!

The Best of the Feast

Apr 13, 2017 – 2nd Timothy 4

Because God So Loves All Of Us!

“35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;”  Luke 12:35 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 4.   Paul is cautioning Timothy to adhere to the Word (see Romans 1:30) even when many are falling away from Jesus.  He stresses his faith in Jesus to Timothy.  The epistle closes with Paul praying for blessings for Timothy and the Church.  “18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! 22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. “ 2 Timothy 4:18; 22  NKJV.   Like Paul you and I should be continually praying for our brother and sisters (see Galatians 6:18) that Jesus Christ be with their spirits.  “9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”  1 John 4:9 NKJV.  God loved us so much that he sent His only son, Jesus (see John 3:16) to pay the full price for everyone who accepts God’s gift of eternal life. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Don’t wait, today is the day of salvation!  Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want what Jesus has planned for you?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; ” 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,  Romans 3:23-24 NKJV.

All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God!

The Best of the Feast

Apr 12, 2017 – 2nd Timothy 3

All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God!

54 How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?”” Matthew 26:54 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 3.   Paul a brother in Jesus Christ is warning Timothy, that Godlessness will grow in the church (see Romans 1:30) some are loving their twisted pleasures above Jesus.  He implores Timothy to continue to serve Jesus, standing  fast in the good doctrine the (see 1 Timothy 4:6-7) avoiding silly myths.  “16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.“   2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV.   When someone in the church or in sin puts forth anything contrary to the Word of God, DO NOT hit them with your bible.   Again Paul warns us not to fight or banter (see Titus 3:9) with worldly people.  “37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39 NKJV.  Once more I am reminded that it is far better to encourage than to discourage sinners.  If a brother or sister is in error concerning the saving gospel let scripture (see Matthew 18:14-17) guide you actions.  Because we are sure Jesus is always right, obey the gospel (see Mark 6:11) when a sinner rejects God’s Word.  We are sure of this; “16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV. Let God’s Word be the light that guides our lives! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; ”23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.  Luke 9:23-24 NKJV.

Worker & Soldier Both Approved by God!

The Best of the Feast

Apr 11, 2017 – 2nd Timothy 2

Worker & Soldier Both Approved by God!

“13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 2.   Paul a brother in Jesus Christ is continuing to encourage Timothy, his Christian brother (see 2 Timothy 4:5) in his service to Jesus.  He reminds Timothy to look to Jesus, the author of their faith, (see Hebrews 12:2) for strength and help.  “24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. “   2 Timothy 2:24-26   NKJV.  Take notice Saints Paul is not enticing his brother Timothy to attack the worldly and make them repent.   He warned him not to fight or banter (see Titus 3:9) with worldly people.  “11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:11-13 NKJV.  It is far better to encourage than to discourage sinners. Think about Jesus and how he approached (see Matthew 11:29-30) those who were lost in sin!  Weather a Worker or a Soldier love and patience is rewarded by Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Listen carefully! Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to share with Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.  1 Peter 2:24 NKJV.

How Can They Know?

The Best of the Feast

Apr 10, 2017 – 2nd Timothy 1

How Can They Know?

“24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24 New King James Version (NKJV).

2Nd Timothy Overview; “The first design of this epistle seems to have been, to apprize Timothy of what had occurred during the imprisonment of the apostle, and to request him to come to Rome. But being uncertain whether he should be suffered to live to see him, Paul gives a variety of advices and encouragements, for the faithful discharge of his ministerial duties. As this was a private epistle written to St. Paul’s most intimate friend, under the miseries of imprisonment, and in the near prospect of death, it shows the temper and character of the apostle, and contains convincing proofs that he sincerely believed the doctrines he preached.” – Matthew Henry Commentary on the Whole Bible (Concise)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading 2nd Timothy Chapter 1.   Paul a brother in Jesus Christ builds his Christian brother up setting the pace for the epistle, continuing with (See 3 John 1:4) encouragement.  When Jesus called the disciples did he put them down or complain to them about the state?  No (see Mark 1:17)!  He simply invited them to follow him. “16 The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; 17 but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me. 18 The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day—and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus. “ 2 Timothy 1:16-18  NKJV.  Jesus taught them about the kingdom of God and why it was important to love others (see John 13:34-35) to please the Father.   Then he warned them about the worldly.  “Do they not go astray who devise evil? Those who devise good meet steadfast love and faithfulness.”  Proverbs 14:22 NKJV. Think about how you relate to others.  Give them a warm greeting rather than complaints.  That’s how they’ll find out who you are and maybe they too will want to become (see Matthew 4:19) fishers of men. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
