Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Jeremiah 2. I'm going to work on a blog when I feel better. This will shorten the Feast because my plan is to move the redundancy to the blog; "Because Your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.”(Psalm 63:3). I'm still laboring with the flu so please keep me in your prayers. Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.”- Proverbs 17:9

“The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in  Jeremiah 8.  We are having a battle here in the high desert with the flu.  The leader of our Wednesday night bible study called and canceled the study for this week because they and their children have the flu.  I had to cancel a meeting with Pastor Ben, because of the flu, please pray for all of God's children.  “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. ”(James 5:16).  Please pray for the saints and the lost souls, we know that the Lord is not willing that any shall perish; "I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,' To a nation that was not called by My name ”(Isaiah 65:1).  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in  Jeremiah 9.  Our God is truly an awesome God.  “But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the Lord. ”(Jeremiah  9:24).  What he does for me he also does for everyone whom he calls; "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”(II Peter 3:9).  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Jeremiah 10 . Idolatry is truly absurd, when my granddaughter was about 3 years old her mother took her to see Shrek the movie. She took her out for Chinese food afterward and when they entered the eatery the baby spotted their idol. Er eyes grew large and she began to shout look mommy Shrek as she pointed to their Buddha. My daughter was embarrassed and told her that was not Shrek it was their god. My granddaughter was amazed and said can't they see it's not real. This is true with a false ”gods” including, Buddha, Mohamed, and anything made by mans hands, they are dead there is no life in them. Our awesome God is alive and with us in the Hoy Spirit. Our God overcame death in Jesus, our God over came death and sin sacrificing his ONLY son for us. We truly serve an awesome God the only living God. ”Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.'”(John 2:19). Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Jeremiah 16 .  I'm deviating a little today in that I'm adding a snippet out of an article Pastor Glen sent.  In this article grandpa was talking about how it was back when; ”Your Grandmother and I got married first, . . . then lived together.  Every family had a father and a mother. Until I was 25, I called every man older than me, "Sir".  And after I turned 25, I still called policemen and every man with a title, "Sir."   We were before gay-rights, computer- dating, dual careers, daycare centers, and group therapy.  Our lives were governed by the Ten Commandments, good judgment, and common sense.   We were taught to know the difference between right and wrong and to stand up and take responsibility for our actions.  Serving your country was a privilege; living in this country was a bigger privilege.  We thought fast food was what people ate during Lent.  Having a meaningful relationship meant getting along with your cousins.”  Now with all that said and i do long for simpler times they knew that hey still needed Jesus.  The Word says; "But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6 ) .  Let's never loose site of Jesus, continue to Feast and share God's word with others.  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”- Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

Wednesday, March 5, 2008 - Jeremiah 16 - Prohibitions given to the prophet. (1-9) The justice of God in these judgments. (10-13) Future restoration of the Jews, and the conversion of the Gentiles. (14-21).

Faithfully and prayerfully we continue our feast in Jeremiah 28.  Here we are preparing to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Some times I feel like the week is moving to fast.  How do you think Jesus may have felt this close to the cross?  "And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” (Luke 22:44).  He prepared for our life's blessing, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Hebrews 12. Last night we attended a small group session borne out of the gathering. The topic was extravagance; ”Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.“ (John 12:3). Was this act extravagant? Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“Ezekiel was one of the priests; he was carried captive to Chaldea with Jehoiachin. All his prophecies appear to have been delivered in that country, at some place north of Babylon. Their chief object appears to have been to comfort his brethren in captivity. He is directed to warn of the dreadful calamities coming upon Judea, particularly upon the false prophets, and the neighbouring nations. Also to announce the future restoration of Israel and Judah from their several dispersions, and their happy state in their latter days, under the Messiah. Much of Christ will be found in this book, especially in the conclusion.” Henry's Concise

Do they make pegs from it to hang things on? 4 And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle, is it then useful for anything? 5 If it was not useful for anything when it was whole, how much less can it be made into something useful when the fire has burned it and it is charred? 6 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees ofthe forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem. 7 I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the LORD. 8 I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign LORD." - Ezekiel 15:1-8 (NIV)

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in James 2. Is anything more important than our relationship with God? “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5).

My take on homosexual marriage is this; In holy matrimony we find productivity, family and love. In same sex marriage there is no good productivity. So far the only thing that same sex marriage produces is disease. Everyone can come to Jesus for forgiveness because we are all sinners. When we accept Jesus as our Savior we must turn from our sin. God bless you all, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again Tomorrow.
Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds — his name is the LORD— and rejoice before him. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”- Psalm 68:4-5

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully begin a feast in - Daniel 1. This is going to be another wonderful journey in the word of our God.

“Daniel was of noble birth, if not one of the royal family of Judah. He was carried captive to Babylon in the fourth year of Jehoiachin, B. C. 606, when a youth. He was there taught the learning of the Chaldeans, and held high offices, both under the Babylonian and Persian empires. He was persecuted for his religion, but was miraculously delivered; and lived to a great age, as he must have been about ninety-four years old at the time of the last of his visions. The book of Daniel is partly historical, relating various circumstances which befel himself and the Jews, at Babylon; but is chiefly prophetical, detailing visions and prophecies which foretell numerous important events relative to the four great empires of the world, the coming and death of the Messiah, the restoration of the Jews, and the conversion of the Gentiles. Though there are considerable difficulties in explaining the prophetical meaning of some passages in this book, we always find encouragement to faith and hope, examples worthy of imitation, and something to direct our thoughts to Christ Jesus upon the cross and on his glorious throne.” (Henry's Concise)

God bless you all, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again Tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully begin a feast in - Daniel 9. My granddaughter is at summer camp.  She wrote her grandma and I a letter 1 paragraph.  It said; “I’m having fun, going horseback riding $15, I bought the T-shirt for the camp.  Please send more money, please.”  This reminded me of how I’ve prayed at times; “Jesus here’s what I’m doing, I’m having a good time please bless me more Amen.”   "“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? "I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.” (JEREMIAH 17:9-10).   Just so you know I’m as guilty as anyone.  God bless you all, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Hosea Overview
“Hosea is supposed to have been of the kingdom of Israel. He lived and prophesied during a long period. The scope of his predictions appears to be, to detect, reprove, and convince the Jewish nation in general, and the Israelites in particular, of their many sins, particularly their idolatry: the corrupt state of the kingdom is also noticed. But he invites them to repentance, with promises of mercy, and gospel predictions of the future restoration of the Israelites and of the Jews, and their final conversion to Christianity.”  Henry’s Concise

Wednesday, July 09, 2008, Hosea 1. - Under a figure, is represented the shameful idolatry of the ten tribes. (1-7) The calling of the Gentiles, and the uniting Israel and Judah under the Messiah. (8-11).

Dear Saints,

Today we continue our feast with a double header in - Hosea 2 & Hosea 3.  It was hot here in Victorville yesterday at around 108° Fahrenheit. “For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness,"* "You shall not covet," and if [there is] any other commandment, are [all] summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (ROM 13:9).   Still I need to mow the grass before my neighbors start picketing my house, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully enjoy our Feast starting in Amos 1.  Everywhere we Feast we see God’s grace for man.  Yes God hates sin but he loves the sinner; “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:2).  With this in mind I ask, what is more important Religion or Relationship?&nb sp; Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”- Matthew 16:15-16

Amos an overview: “Amos was a herdsman, and engaged in agriculture. But the same Divine Spirit influenced Isaiah and Daniel in the court, and Amos in the sheep-folds, giving to each the powers and eloquence needful for them. He assures the twelve tribes of the destruction of the neighbouring nations; and as they at that time gave themselves up to wickedness and idolatry, he reproves the Jewish nation with severity; but describes the restoration of the church by the Messiah, extending to the latter days.“ (Henry’s Concise)

The Feast,
Tuesday, July 22, 2008, Amos 1 – Judgments against the Syrians, Philistines, Tyrians, Edomites, and Ammonites.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully enjoy our Feast starting in Amos 2.  Our God is an awesome God, all powerful and all loving.  We have no way to measure his power or love.  Yet he has a relationship with everyone and every part of his creation.  “although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with fait h and love which are in Christ Jesus..” (1st Timothy 1:13-14).  Our God shows us his tender mercies, but keep in mind he is not Mr. Rogers.  Our Feast reveals a powerful God whom we have neither need nor ability to protect. It is a pleasure to Feast with you, fellow defenders of the faith, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Good Monday morning, I pray you had a blessed weekend. Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in 1st John 3. Today’s Feast reminded me of why I needed God, and why I should not grieve Him.  I thought as long as I didn’t hurt anyone I was an eternal being worthy of heaven.  I didn’t realize I was carrying sin every day, without knowledge or even trying not to sin. “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”(1st John 3:4).   I didn’t have the knowledge to know that God cannot abide with sin yet, he gave me a sinner a way out.  “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”(1st John 3:1). Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”- Jeremiah 33:2-3

Dear Saints,

Today we are going to begin the book of Habakkuk.  I’ve heard a lot about prophesy lately.  The talk has been about some oracle, soothsayer or Indian calendar, predicting the end of the world in December 2012.   I say that doesn’t change a thing, we need to keep the first thing first, Jesus as our Savior! "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:36).  So in the meanwhile share your faith as you live it.  “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will” (John 9:31). Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it. But the LORD is in his holy temple;’ let all the earth be silent before him.’” (Habakkuk 2:19-20). Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”- Psalm 16:8

Dear Saints,

Brother Mike sent me this story today I want to share the first of it with you;

” A Christian

Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston, Texas.

Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.

When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change.

As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.

‘Then he thought, 'oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount?

Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet.'

When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said,

'Here, you gave me too much change.' The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town?'

'Yes' he replied.

'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship.

I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday….” Keep in mind that our “Relationship” with God is more important than our Religion.  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.”- Psalm 42:8

Dear Saints,

Yesterday we finished Habakkuk, this weekend we prayerfully read the book of Zephaniah.  Why do we read the Holy Bible?  “The fear of the Lord is the start of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One gives a wise mind” (Proverbs 9:10).  Then why do we continue to read? “So faith comes by hea ring, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans10:17). For the believer God’s Holy Word is nourishment; “Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, `Man will not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. `” (Luke 4:4). As we feast together I’m sure you will find many more reasons to continue our Feast.  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again Monday.
“And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, "O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments” Daniel 9:4

Zephaniah Overview
“Zephaniah excites to repentance, foretells the destruction of the enemies of the Jews, and comforts the pious among them with pr omises of future blessings, the restoration of their nation, and the prosperity of the church in the latter days” (Henry’s Concise)

If you’re reading this and you don't know Jesus but, you want to know him, click this link; http://echosoffaith.spaces.live.com/ or http://journals.aol.com/mlitew8/-feast/  Join me in prayer that God will guide and bless Pastor Glen in His service.

The Feast, Friday, August 22, 2008 Zephaniah 1 - Threatenings against sinners. (1-6) More threatenings. (7-13) Distress from the approaching judgments. (14-18). Saturday, August 23, 2008 Zephaniah 2 - An exhortation to repentance. (1-3) Judgments upon other nations. (4-15).  Sunday, August 24,2008, Zephaniah 3  -  Further reproofs for sin. (1-7) Encouragement to look for mercy. (8-13) Promises of future favour and prosperity. (14-20).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully begin the book of Revelation.  Keep the first thing first; “For God had such love for the world that he gave his only20Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.” (John 3:16).  We continue in prayer and study of God’s word; “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,” (2nd Timothy 3:16).  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again Tomorrow

Revelation Overview
“The Book of the Revelation of St. John consists of two principal divisions. 1. Relates to "the things which are," that is, the then present state of the church, and contains the epistle of John to the seven churches, and his account of the appearance of the Lord Jesus, and his direction to the apostle to write what he beheld, ch. 1:9-20. Also the epistles to seven churches of Asia. These, doubtless, had reference to the state=2 0of the respective churches, as they then existed, but contain excellent precepts and exhortations, commendations and reproofs, promises and threatenings, suitable to instruct the Christian church at all times."(Henry’s Concise)

Monday, August 25, 2008, Revelation 1 - The design, and the importance of this book. (1-3) The apost le John salutes the seven churches of Asia. (4-8) Declares when, where, and how, the revelation came to him. (9-11) In his vision he saw Christ appear. (12-20).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast with Revelation 21.  Thank you for your patience yesterday I wrote chapter 19 in the first paragraph.  It should have been “Revelation 20”.   “Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"  Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” (Matthew 18:21-22)”.   We can certainly appreciate our feast and, Jesus as he allows for mistakes, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully finish our Feast in Revelation, with Revelation 22.  It truly is a blessing to share the Feast with you.   "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20).  In the fact that it is20enjoyable to gather on line therefore; goes the consideration of attending a Bible believing Church.   If the Church has to Justify itself in any way other than God’s Word, then it is not a bible believing church.  So where ever you go hold their doctrine up to the whole Word and prayerfully ask does this line up with God’s Holy Word?  “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Act 20:28) Yes the Church has a charge for you to feed or be fed, Lord willing I'll send the Feast again for Saturday and Sunday.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17

The Feast,

(1-5) The truth and certain fulfilling of all the prophetic visions, The Holy Spirit, and the bride, the church, invite, and say, Come. (6-19) The closing blessing. (20, 21)

Dear Saints,

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in   Zechariah 3.  I watched the news this morning and they’re screaming; “The economy is issue number one.”  If that’s true then we are in worse shape than I thought.  Love and Salvation in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ should be “Issue number one.”    The only thing that makes us free, full with grace and righteous is Jesus.  “In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.'"  (Zechariah 3:10).   Keep the Faith, enjoy the Feast, share it with others and Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in   Zechariah 4.  We see encouragement in today’s Feast.  Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ encourages us with grace and forgive ness and power to do his work.  No matter what our circumstances today his grace is enough; “And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me “(2nd Corinthians 12:19).   Share the Feast with others and Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

This week we prayerfully continue our Feast in Malachi 1.  Did you have a great weekend?  Somehow we need to let the world know that Jesus is “Issue Number One”!  Believe me it is not finances, taxes or a particular candidate.  The issue is our relationship with Jesus. "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. “(Luke 12:7). Share the Feast with others and, Join me in asking for a special blessing for those in trouble, sick and issue number one.  Lord willing I'll send the Feast again tomorrow.

“Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”- John 3:20-21

Overview Malachi
“Malachi was the last of the prophets, and is supposed to have prophesied B.C. 420. He reproves the priests and the people for the evil practices into which they had fallen, and invites them to repentance and reformation, with promises of the blessings to be bestowed at the coming of the Messiah. And now that prophecy was to cease, he speaks clearly of the Messiah, as nigh at hand, and directs the people of God to keep in remembrance the law of Moses, while they were in expectation of the gospel of Christ.”  (Henry’s Concise)
