| 7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo33-35
Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus 33 through Exodus 35. God in all his mercy renews His covenant with his people; “The Covenant Renewed 10 And he said, “Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been created in all the earth or in any nation. And all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord, for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Exodus 34:10, English Standard Version (ESV). God doesn’t wait to see if the people are really ready to change their ways before making a renewed covenant! God works on His schedule in his time. He said;”It is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Then our awesome God gives us instructions on how to live in the land he gives them; “...13 You shall tear down their altars and break their pillars and cut down their Asherim 14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), 15 lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they whore after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and you are invited, you eat of his sacrifice, 16 and you take of their daughters for your sons, and their daughters whore after their gods and make your sons whore after their gods.” Exodus 34:13-16 English Standard Version (ESV). Concerning faith He reminded them that they should not worship other Gods. God calls his people to work and gives them instruction; “30 Then Moses said to the people of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship,32 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, 33 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. 34 And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan.35 He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.” What an awesome God, he didn’t leave you and I out of his plan or kingdom. Once again he renews his covenant. He doesn’t wait for us to “Get Right” first; ”but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 English Standard Version (ESV). This is a direct result of God renewing his covenant with us; “For God So Loved the World 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. So as for you and I let’s keep the first thing first, salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus. I say this because God also calls us to good works; “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list (http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html), please write mlitew8@gmail.com. Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
