National Days of Prayer Day 17 of 40
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 13. We see the men of Israel stand against the invasion of the Philistines. Instead of waiting on the Lord Saul sacrifices, He is reproved by Samuel God’s prophet. The policy of the Philistines was to take captured tribes and make their blacksmiths into implement workers for them. Therefor Israel had no one to make their weapons of war. Just as we see all through God’s Word, there was consequence for not waiting on the Lord;“8 Then he waited seven days, according to the time set by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. 9 So Saul said, "Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me." And he offered the burnt offering. 10 Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him. 11 And Samuel said, "What have you done?" And Saul said, "When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, 12 then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the Lord.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering." 13 And Samuel said to Saul, "You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. 14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you." ” I Samuel 13:8 -14, New King James Version (NKJV). Saints you and I have decisions to make concerning our Worldly leadership. Learn the lesson presented here in first Samuel, Pray to God, wait on God, and obey His voice, there is no good reason to rebel against the Lord. If we encourage everyone to repent and wait on God then the person who reigns over us will wait on the Lord your God. Join me in praying for our nations
40 Days of Prayer # 17 Prayer for our nation By Pastor, Glen Aycock;
SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 6: 4-13
6 Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you 7 then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. 8 Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; 9 inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. 10 When GOD, your God, ushers you into the land he promised through your ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give you, you’re going to walk into large, bustling cities you didn’t build, 11 well-furnished houses you didn’t buy, come upon wells you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive orchards you didn’t plant. When you take it all in and settle down, pleased and content, 12 make sure you don’t forget how you got there—GOD brought you out of slavery in Egypt. 13 Deeply respect GOD, your God. Serve and worship him exclusively. Back up your promises with his name only. (The Message)

2 Chronicles 7 (New International Version)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The people and the nations of the world need to turn away from sin and pray to God in the name of Jesus for forgiveness. The people and the nations need to turn back to God. We as Christians need to pray and seek out those who need Christ and bring them back to God, look what God did for you. Pray about what God wants and needs you to do.
Let all the people Rejoice and praise Him.
Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get.
This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God.
