What’s Better Than Life! Sep. 18, 2013 – Psalms 44 Today’s Feast Psalms Chapter 44 - “A petition for succour and relief.” - Matthew Henry Concise  Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 44.  David is and his people are down.  They feel like God has abandoned them.  David appeals to God for support.  He appeals to God for the sake of His love.  “ 25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust;     our belly clings to the ground. 26 Rise up; come to our help!     Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love!.”   Psalms 44:11 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Remember while God knows our every thought we can’t begin to know his.  No matter what we think is going on, even when we feel abandoned. We need to hang on to the love of God.  Reading God’s Word and praying every day while we wait on Jesus.  His loving kindness is better than life (See Psalm 63:3).  His loving kindness has set us free!  “1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. ”  Romans 8:1-2 ESV. Listen! Jesus is calling you?  Can you hear him?  Today is the day of salvation.
