Who Is Like The Lord Our God?

Nov. 20, 2013 – Psalms 113     Psalms Chapter 113- “An exhortation to praise God.” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 113.  The Psalmist praises God declaring the people who belong to God get his blessings.  “9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!”  Psalm 113:9 - English Standard Version (ESV). Our God loves us and he wants to bless us. “1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! 2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;  let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”  Psalm 95:1-2 – ESV.  Our God sacrificed His only begotten son Jesus for our sins (See John 3:16).  There is no other name by which we can be saved (See John 14:6)!  Our God alone is worthy of our praise and love. Let Us Sing Songs of Praise! Hallelujah! (4-9).”  Chapter 99- “The happy government God's people are under. (1-5) Its happy administration. (6-9).” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 98 & 99.  The Psalmist describes the glory and joy of the people who choose God as their leader.  “8 O Lord our God, you answered them;     you were a forgiving God to them,     but an avenger of their wrongdoings. 9 Exalt the Lord our God,     and worship at his holy mountain;     for the Lord our God is holy!”  Psalm 99:8-9 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Jesus is the savior of the people who accept him as their leader.  When we ask him into our hearts the weight of the world is lifted of our shoulders (See Matthew 11:30).  “15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””  Joshua 24:15 ESV.  Those who accept God’s gift of salvation have seen enough of the world to convince them that any other path ends in sorrow and destruction (see Galatians 5:19-21).   Jesus is the answer for the world today!  Hallelujah!     Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Is God speaking to your heart?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm   The Feast does belong to Jesus! Remember Job?

Remember Job? September 1, 2013 – Psalms 26 Today’s Feast Psalms Chapter 26 - “ David, in this psalm, appeals to God touching his integrity” - Matthew Henry Concise   Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 26.  David expresses his integrity to God.  Did you notice that he told God to test (See Psalms 26:2) him?  “11 But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity;     redeem me, and be gracious to me. 12 My foot stands on level ground;     in the great assembly I will bless the Lord.’   Psalms 26:11-12 - English Standard Version (ESV).   In my eyes that took a lot of confidence.  Remember Job’s trials?  God’s grace is sufficient for my children and I.  “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”   Proverbs 22:6 ESV. Jesus is calling.  Today is the day of salvation!  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call.
